Multiple CONTESTS in a Spinach WRAP

Today concludes all of the contests we have run this month. Thank you EVERYpuggy for joining in the fun. I will get your prizes out to you all A.S. A. P.

To recap

Contest One was a CRAZY HAIR CONTEST to win a Pup-a-Top, an engraved dog tag and bottle opener combo. We had 3 winners.

1. Hazel of Idaho Pug Ranch was the Grand Prize winner
2. Benny of Two French Bulldogs was second
3. Greta of Idaho Pug Ranch was third

Contest Two was Guess the Celebrity Pug Owners to win a dog prize of some sort. We had one winner.

1. Janice Webb of 2 pugs and a boxer mix)

Contest Three was to wish me a Happy Birthday (for my July 4th birthday). For this contest, I used Random.org to make the decision. I was just too busy to pick out of a hat this time. 

Here is what I did

I entered all names into the box on Random.org. There were 16 of you! Wow! Thanks!!!

Anyhow, Molly is very good about following directions so she entered each name one to a line.

Then she hit the sort button.

VOILA!!!

The randomizer did all the work and before you know it - KAPOW!!!

I am totally worn out from all of the birthday celebrating I did this past week. Hopefully I will have some photos to show you of my big birthday bash (along with Molly who was celebrating her first birthday). Unfortunately, My Mommys forgot their camera and need to rely on others to provide the proof of FUN! Check back tomorrow.

HAPPY THOUGHT OF THE DAY: The Sun peeking through the leaves makes all of my thoughts happy and bright

BLING! Bling! It's STYLE Calling

 A while back my Mommy entered a contest on Facebook. It was sponsored by Modern Dog Magazine - every Friday they do a Friday Giveaway on their Facebook page! She has entered them now and then but figured no one ever really won. She sure didn't. You know what I mean - businesses use gimmicks like that all the time to get people to "Like" them so they can brag about their numbers.

Okay, we both admit that perhaps that is a bit too cynical and that sometimes businesses are using contests as a way to thank their followers. Long story short - we WON!! Yes, Mommy had entered to win me a NEW COLLAR because, well a PUG Princess cannot have too many collars. And Mommy likes to put them on me when we are in a pug crowd so she can identify me quickly.

On this particular Friday, Modern Dog Magazine was giving away a Hydro Collar from Hot Dogs All Dressed. Hmmmm, Mommy thought, that might be nice on my dear sweet Nu-Nu (as she often calls me). So she followed the directions and entered the contest. At the end of the day she looked on Facebook to see the winners. She read them - went huh - and the said ALOUD Woo-Hoo! Because there in digital words was MY NAME as a winner!!!! OMP! This was awesome!

She contacted Modern Dog Magazine and they put her in touch with Hot Dogs All Dressed. From there is was a pretty easy process. She was so puzzled about what color and then they told her BLING was included!!!  They told her to look on the site and see what they have available. That way she has a visual to go by.

She finally she decided to go with what every PUG Princess      would want - PINK with shiny diamond-like paws.

These GREAT collars usually retail for $20+ but we got ours FOR FREE!!!

Within 2 weeks - from the time she won - I received my new collar in the mail. AND I must say, it is absolutely PERFECT right down to the rivets! My new collar is comfortable and cleanable. It is also waterproof and VEGAN! It won't smell, either - unlike ME. I think it looks really really good, as well.

  

And about Modern Dog Magazine - winning the contest worked because now Mommy reads that magazine because it is full of interesting information for the care and keeping of PRINCESSES, like me. They have articles on what foods are good for dogs and PUGS and what are not! They have celebrity interviews! They have pet related crafts for those crafty dog owners (I mean this in the GOOD way, not bad). This month they also feature an article about living with senior pets AND exercising yourself and your pet. Hey Mommy!!! That one is for us!!!

 She said check out Modern Dog Magazine and Hot Dogs All Dressed sometime when you are in the mood for some good reads and awesome bling.

HAPPY THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Something new, like a fancy collar, gives you a brighter outlook on your day.

It's In the Mail

The mailwoman came by on Friday. I barked a little at her like I usually do - just a simple HELLO and you're doing a GREAT job, you know.
She left a lot of mail for the humans in the mailbox, like usual.

BUT NOT LIKE USUAL EXCEPT AT CHRISTMAS TIME 

She left a box for me!!!

Corbin, I APOLOGIZE for my Mommy's terrible picture taking!!!!

It was my PRIZE from Corbin at Oh! Corbin!!! Corbin and his foster sister Sophie (she has since found her forever home, Yay!) had a contest and the prize was a couple of coupons for FROSTY PAWS and a toy from FP! Well, I definitely wanted to win THAT and so I entered. Surprise, Surprise!!! I was one of the winners!!!  It was so fun to open the box and see the prizes BEST OF ALL was the picture of HANDSOME Corbin and CUTE Sophie. I will cherish that photo always.

I will let you in on a little secret: My mommy pins pictures of my Blogville FURiends on my pen so I can see them all day.

If you haven't had FROSTY PAWS then I wholeheartedly recommend that you do. I am looking forward to trying the PEANUT BUTTER one (I have tried the Vanilla - YUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMY!!!).

HAPPY THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Winning Stuff! There is nothing better than winning stuff!!! Well, maybe playing the game to win is super fun. . . . but winning is fun. . .

PAWsomeNESS

My FURiend Corbin and his current foster sister Sophie had a contest this past week. I loves loves loves to enter CONTESTS because it is fun. I like to have CONTESTS too because that is fun as well. So I followed the rules of the contest and entered for a prize. GUESS WHAT!!! I was one of the winners! I am so excited

It was for Frosty Paws ice cream.  If you don't know what Frosty Paws is, then you absolutely need to try it. I was lucky enough to get some as a gift from Sandy Claws.

I can't wait . . . I can't wait.

I am currently putting together photos from my HUGE adventure over this last weekend. Molly and I went to a HUGE Pug meet! That is all I am going to say about it right now because I do not want to spoil the story. You will understand when I tell it, trust me.

So there you have it. . . the PAWsomeNESS of PRIZES.
