Working the Mail Room

Apologies to all my FURiends who HAVE NOT RECEIVED the prizes from the Caption contest. My mommy was so busy leading UP TO Sandy Paws' visit that she did not get them in the mail! Now it is AFTER that auspicious day and the prizes are still being held hostage in HER OFFICE! So I am taking matters into my own hands and I am gonna send them out TODAY. I don't want FURiends thinking I reneg on PRIZE PROMISES!!! All of the captions were so awesome, after all.

She promises she will be more timely NEXT YEAR. Good thing that comes a couple of days.

Too Cute For Words Wednesday

What more can I say?

It was a fun PARTY, so many folk

We LAUGHED a lot at Auntie B's joke

After the KISSES and waves goodbye

The household took a collective SIGH

We all worked quickly to clean it all  UP

The dishwasher cleaned every single CUP

Then as soon as the water left from the SINK

We were nestled in beds, quick as a WINK

While we slept, in ST NICK crept

And under the tree a gift or TWO was swept

There was even a present or THREE

For Sunshine the Cat and ME

The COOKIES are eaten, left not a crumble

The PACKAGES are op'n, the paper a jumble

The food is all eaten, it sure was GOOD

The cars are all GONE from the neighborhood

I am tired as can be . . . I can't even GNAW

I think I will leave this chew by my MAW

Just in case I wake up HUNGRY

I won't have to move my little PAW

Kookie for Sandy Paws

I am so BUSY! Tonight is Christmas Eve and I have so much to do still to prepare for Sandy PAWS. I read on the INTERNET that Ol' St. Nick (I BELIEVE he is the same person as Sandy Paws) likes COOKIES so I am making a batch for him.

Now where did Mommy store the flour?

I am thinking PEANUTTY BUTTERS because my pal ANAKIN MAN always said you can never do better than Peanutty Butters!!!!

Hi PEEPS and PUPPERS

I am SUPER busy today with my new project - BUILD-A-PUG! I found this BLUEPRINT online that shows all the correct dimensions and characteristics I need to make an A-NUMBER-ONE pug. Well, not as perfect as MOI, but close enough. I just need to look online for the proper tools and materials. If anypuggy out there knows where I can get a triple layer of fur (it MUST SHED A LOT) and a button nose, please let me know.

Why, you may ask, do I want another PUG around? Wouldn't another adorable bundle of cuteness take away from my foodage and cuddle time???? Maybe, I admit this is definitely a danger. But I was thinking more along the lines of a SECOND PUG to divert attention AWAY from me at those times I am MOST LIKELY to get in trouble rather than those times I am beloved. For example, I could have my PUG CLONE begging and getting under Mommy's feet while I sneak behind her (out of sight, of course) and scour the floor for droppings. Or PUG CLONE could save my spot on SOCK MONKEY while I am outside doing my bidness so SUNSHINE THE CAT does not cop my favorite bed like she has been EVERYNIGHT!!!! The way I see it, this clone thing could be a win-win for me.

I think this will be a totally doable and fun project for me AND will keep my little PAWS handy and out of trouble for a while. I am very very aware that sometimes I am a bit, how shall we say this, UNDERFOOT. I also know that sometimes I am a LITTLE demanding when it comes to going outside (I admit I am not ALWAYS going potty). And the truth is I WANT TO BE ON SANTA'S NICE LIST so I can get lots of pressies on Christmas Day. I think this BLUEPRINT is the best idea I have had YET!

Excuse me if I make a hasty retreat here - I need to dash to the HOBBY store for some glue.
