Insecure Writer's Support Group: INSPIRATION

I can't believe it's already December! O__O That means it's almost 2015, and I can't even...wow this year's gone by fast.  Honestly, the flat out, plain truth is I'm still insecure about basically everything having to do with my writing.  Submission really did a number on me, so confused about what my next step should be yadda yadda...  So, this week I decided to make my IWSG post about a few of my favorite things (yes, that's a Sound of Music reference :)) that inspire me to write.  Here's a short list:

1. Songs and lyrics

2. Movies

3. Sherlock :)

4. Real life conversations/interactions (I love to people watch!)

5. Books, books, books

6. Dance choreography

7. Famous Quotes...like this one from Ernest Hemingway: "There is nothing to writing.  All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed."

HAPPY EASTER!

A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS TREE!

 

Hi everyone!  Ninja Aunt P works with a guy who apparently loves A Charlie Brown Christmas as much as we do :).  Thank you, sir, for being so awesome!!  Isn't that a great little tree?  And he even included Linus's signature blue blanket!  Anyway, this made me smile, and I wanted to pass on the holiday cheer.  Hope you're all having a fantastic week so far.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

 

Hi everyone!  This is a quick post to wish you all a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN :-).  Around this time of year I love seeing all the costumes, the over-the-top spooky decorations, and of course, the make-your-mouth-water candy.  I haven't posted in a few weeks, but I have been reading.

According to my Goodreads: 14 books in October--which is pretty freakin' great for me.

BOOKS, BOOKS, AND MORE!

Hi all!  This was my first Christmas spent away from home.  Me and the fam all went to Ninja Aunt C's this year--and it snowed!  Of course, it didn't stick but STILL!  Snow on Christmas *___*  It was great you guys.  I got entirely too much again, and I gave some things I really loved.

 

These are all the books I gave this year!!  Some of my absolute favorites!

 

 

And b/c my family knows me far too well, I got a ton of great books!  I've already devoured one: Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo (it was mind-blowing!).

 

Ninja Aunt P got me these INCREDIBLE shoes!!  Did you ntice the "NINJA GIRL" personalization?!? Crazy cool!

 

 

Ninja Aunt C made me smile immediately with this Monsters Inc. ornament.  Ahhhhh Boo!

 

 

Annnnnnnd awesome Asian dramas--which I'm currently watching ;)

A BOOK BASKET & MORE!

Hey everyone!! I hope you all had a great holiday.  I got way too much again this Christmas (no one's that good lol), but in our family Christmas is a really big deal.  We go all out; that's just how it is :D  So, I thought I'd share some of my favorites!
