for no reason, had this sudden urge to video megan this morning when she couldn’t wake up…
for no reason, had this unappreciated feeling at work… now i’m getting to see the point of just putting ample effort in work and not more… cuz who remembers your merit anyway?
ok, maybe everything happen for a reason… just not my day…
spent away a lazy sunday... not really a lazy one thou... woke up at 5:30am to reach office at 6+ to start powering up everything... to my freaking horror, one particular area kept tripping the power whenever i turned on the switch... thankfully it got resolved by 9am, if not, god knows for how long i'm going to stay in office...
then only, its a lazy sunday for me... its always great to spend time with megan and joelle... and my eos too...
then we decided to challenge each other with some megan's feet fetish shot... joelle's shot...

then joelle decided to cook dinner... it was a splendid spread with 3 dishes and a soup... megan was eating with us too, and she love the soup joelle cooked... too bad, the food is so good, i forgotten to take a shot...
suddenly i realised, its better to blog on monday nite than on sunday nite... why? cuz blogging on sunday nite, i'm looking at wonderful pictures taken during the day but dread at the tots of the coming monday blues...

went to phoebe's full month celebration this afternoon, and took lotsa photos... enjoy the picts...
lotsa balloons at the buffet... come to think about it, megan's full month celebration got no balloons wor... hmmm, will get some for her 1st b'day celebration then...
my fav red eggs... today no 'form', only ate 3... usually i take more than 5... keke...
can't resist the temptation, to hold a newborn... almost forgotten how megan used to be when she was only a month old... just like phoebe, so little and so fragile... so cute and so sweet...

it's so difficult to get megan to pose a shot with phoebe... cuz, megan wanna touch phoebe... it seems like megan 'sayang' phoebe here, but in fact, we're so fearful that megan may hit phoebe... cuz, when megan is exploring something new, the first thing she do, is to hit it and see how it sounds like...
had a great afternoon... and the girls headed to tampines to shop shop, while i drag my pathetic ass back to work (yup, that power shutdown thingy)... valerie so bad, made jace carry her while we're walking to the mrt station...
after work, i went back to tampines to meet them for dinner, and then went back home, feeling super tired... omg, better go get some sleep, tomolo got to go back office by 6am to startup everything... :S
went on a 3 days course this week... i would say, the best 3 days i ever had for the past few months, cuz no need to go back to office... leave everything at the back of my mind... but good things always never last long...
i dread at the idea of returning to work the next day... dread of the pile of sh*t on the desk waiting for me... just when i convinced myself not to think of work, and enjoy the last few hours of moment before returning to work on wednesday... someone from office called me...

Me: what the... today? now then they tell us?
VeryTupid: yalor... i just got the concourse management email leh... how ah? MIS going to send email inform everyone?
Me: did they say only common area shutdown or whole building?
VeryTupid: ok, i read the email to you ah... (reading from the email...) ... to inform tenant that there will be power shutdown on 17th nite till 18th morning january...
Me: wait wait, you say 17th january?

Me: hello... today is 17th DECEMBER leh...
VeryTupid: oh... yahor... heng ah, not today...
Me to GOD: what have i done wrong for you to punish me like this?
and this also serve as a warning to anyone intending to sit their office premise in the concourse... they do power shutdowns biyearly... during my 2 years working at suntec office, i dun even know what is power shutdown... and the stupid concourse keep having power shutdowns...
and then, my greatest fear came true... in the morning, joelle mentioned that megan feeling kinda warm... and in the afternoon, her nanny called joelle saying megan's temperature gone up to 39 degrees... the saddest thing is, we couldn't go back... so nanny bring megan to a GP and got some fever medicine... and in the nite, megan's fever didn't go down at all... and so, we took a day off the next day on thursday to bring megan down to tmc for a checkup...
in the end, we spent almost a day at the hospital to do blood and urine test for megan... she kanna inflammation... and so the fever... see, never go to GP, they don't know anything one... especially for infants, its better to have a thorough check then to have a GP peaking down her throat and say its ok... kaoz...
while waiting for the test results, we visited felicia, joelle's cousin, who just delivered her baby... and guess what, she's in the same ward as the one joelle stayed when megan arrived... the newly arrived angel's name is phoebe... and megan is jealous when joelle carried phoebe and leaning over to demand joelle to carry her... haa...
oh btw, i finally got a feel of a dslr camera (joelle cousin's canon)... i happily snapped some shot and showed joelle the results... and she marvelled at the pictures i took wor... it seems my dslr dream camera is materialising soon... keke... (miranda, please send over the picts fast fast...)
and so, end of story? no way... megan's temperate still soaring high the whole nite and all of us couldn't sleep well... in the end, joelle fall sick today and i still got to drag my ass to office...
hope megan can recover fast... and her fever has to subside by this sunday, else we got to go see doc again...

last sat, joelle kanna ot... and so, i stayed home to take care of megan... and little one don't wanna lay down on her pinky chair anymore... she would sit up once we put her on the pinky chair... and, this is her fav star...

after a while, we didn't not to stay home and wait for joelle to come home... we really need some family time... and so, we (me and megan) decided to go over to joelle's office and give her a surprise! megan's so happy when i told her we're going to look for mummy!

and here we are, at joelle's office... not only joelle is overjoyed when we reached her office... megan however, is a little confused over the commotion...

seems like a happy weekend for me? not really... come sunday, my turn to go back office... while joelle and megan stayed over at mil's place... and joelle is so tired, she couldn't go to office today... and me? reached home in wee hours of the morning, alone... sad...

long time never update this little space of mine... lets see... oh ya, megan gotten a nice dress from my parents... very princess-ly dress... this is only a test-wear, so forgive her hairdo... :P
oh ya, its that season of the year again, and out came rudolph... and megan staring right at the red nose reindeer... and guess what? megan cried! i guess she's afraid of the ferocious plant-eater... :S
and of course, i set up the tree again... spent half a day cleaning up the house and setting up the tree while megan watches...
and the other half day?... out for b'day celebration dinner for joelle's parents...

and... megan had her first fall... not really a bad fall thou... she was crawling towards the edge of the mattress when she suddenly slip and you know the rest of the story... it looked really bad eh? but there is no bruise, only slight abrasion... within minutes, its gone... but we're expecting more of such falls, cuz megan is so very very hyper active recently... and its pretty hard to restrain her...
and ... ED, how right you were... now i realised megan also put the labels into her mouth... haiz... got so hungry meh?
wow... seems like a nice week for me but, its far from it... in fact, i had a bad bad week at work... even worked thru the weekend, from nite to morning, then go home, sleep, meet joelle and megan at mil's place, then go work, from nite to morning again... never spent the weekend with joelle and megan at all, while the rest of the company had quality family time, and coming back to office on a tuesday looking refreshed except me (and my department)... no wonder, the whole department is boycotting the dnd... or at least i am boycotting it, not sure why the rest of the guys not going thou...
i need to find my life back... i'm always tried from work, always having no time for joelle and megan... and had been a month since i last went to my parents' place for dinner... i'm so wanna...
its not easy... not easy to stay, not easy to quit...
worked pretty late on friday and went back office again on sat morning for another work-thru-the-weekend work... received joelle's call at noon, that she is having a terrible headache... and so, i got to leave work behind and go home...
reached home and found a pale joelle on bed with megan playing by herself... i'm torn...

and finally, the weekend is here... tiring week... is it workload getting heavier or me getting older? kept feeling tired... haiz...
anyway, the loks are doing fine these few days, except having a very bad experience with kfc delivery on thursday evening, where the food is sloggy, salty and cold...
and i just paid off a $2k+ bill... electric bills, internet bills, phone bills, credit card bills... and a major part of it goes to the spa treatment we rewarded ourselves, and megan's visit to the pd, once kfc delivery, once mcd delivery and once pizza delivery, and some other "cham cham chui chui" thingy... oh well, got to tighten up the pocket liao... :P
oh, on tuesday nite, i was on nite shift when megan woken up in the middle of the nite... as she usually wants milk in 5 hours interval, and its only 4 hours since her last fed, i just gave her some water and pat her... as i was closing my eyes while patting megan, i didn't know what she was doing until i opened my eyes to look at her when she isn't making any sound... and there she was, looking desperately at her bottle (that is on top of her pillow) and stretching out her arms trying to reach it... my goodness, she is really hungry wor... so i got up and make her milk and she finished it up in no time... if only she can tell me she's hungry... :P
and megan likes to look at herself... especially her photo on my phone...
and of course, a very bad habit of sticking out her tongue... still couldn't get her to stop it...
and as the old saying goes, 七坐,八爬,九发牙 (sounds better in hokkien thou), megan is well on her way to crawling since she is 2 weeks to her 8th month... and she is learning it fast...
was freaking tired and i really meant FREAKING tired... went back office to work on sat morning 10am, and only managed to get home at sun 9pm... feeling so bloody fed up... whats with the shifting of people away from the main office and then decided to shift them back? whats with not wanting to rent additional office space and then decided to again? whats with renovating and then tear down again, then renovate again? all these changes in just a year or more making it almost seems like having indecisive people up there who just couldn't make up their mind... feeling tired and disappointed, wtf... i'm just too tired to continue writing about work, it just make me feeling even more tired and disappointed, and extremely FUBAR...
anyway, last friday nite, i was watching the tv till late... and with megan sleeping beside me and joelle sleeping on the sofa... and how soundly megan sleeps...
and then, comes the bloody sat morning where most of the whole world rests, we work... cw, der, tc and myself, went back office to work our ass off, and the whole MIS department is overstretched now... not to mention, joelle having to take care of megan while i work...
and while working, i called home to check out joelle and megan... they were at my in-laws' place... its impossible to take care of baby by oneself... after talking to joelle, she passed the phone over to megan to let her hear my voice. to our surprise, when joelle removed the handset from megan, she cried and wanting the handset back... this is the first time she is reacting this way, and there's 2 possibilities:
1. she wants to play with the handset
2. she misses her daddy

and it made me so home sick... making the matter worst, got bad news from joelle that megan is having mouth infection and runny nose... how badly i want to get home... and when i did managed to get to my in-laws' place, the first thing i did, is to check out megan's mouth, and it is really mouth infection lor... and megan, when she saw me, lifted up her hands as if wanting to be carried... of course i can't, i was so freaking filthy from the freaking 34 hours of work... and when she realised i'm not carrying her, she cries... no choice, i carried her... she stopped crying and begin 'talking' as she lean on my shoulder, as if complaining or pouring her heart out to me... everyone in the house exclaimed "aiyo, so yang-or leh..."
and this morning, we took megan to see her pd... and indeed, she is having mouth infection, probably due to her touching and putting things to her mouth... which means, our home is kinda dirty... due to the fact that i didn't clean up often enough... also due to the fact i'm too tired from work... see! its about the god damn work again... poor megan, sick again... and more medicine this time, and more money spent...
and because of work, i missed this shot joelle took... now i'm FUBAR and DBB...
