I wish
realize this project since a long time... I always wanted to create my own
Citadel Combat Cards, the only problem is that I‘m never found a dood
application to concretize this project.
I don’t
know if you have already played to Frostgrave? But it’s frequent to look for the skills of the
monsters in the rules book , the Monsters cards are a practical solution to
save time during a game.
If we disregard the painting of the miniatures, the shooting of the miniatures and the editing of cards … The most complicated thing in this project it’s to find the good Fonts. Fortunately, our dear Zhu had the good idea to share its knowledge in Font researche in a discussion on the Oldhammer Forum (Link)
If you read
this article you will understand that it’s question about the Fonts at the top
of cards: Friz Quadrata Bold and Helvetica. If you want to try to reproduce
these cards, I advise you to parametrize these Fonts in size 44 then to reduce
their width to 55 %. So you will obtain a rather close result from the original Combat Cards.
Awesome stuff Nico!
RépondreSupprimerThank you :)
SupprimerThat is Genius!!!
RépondreSupprimerThank you Blue!
SupprimerComme ca déboite, j'en avais fait pour une partie mais pas aussi belle que les tiennes. Faudra que je t'emprunte le fichier source pour en faire des propres.

That is a great idea, perfectly executed. Bravo!
RépondreSupprimerHé hé :) Thank you!
RépondreSupprimerDo you use Magic Set Editor ?
RépondreSupprimerThese are absolutely brilliant, Great work.
RépondreSupprimerThank you :)
RépondreSupprimerI know it has been a while, but can you explain the symbols and the numeric value on bottom right on the cards? Thanks for the superb job!
RépondreSupprimerThank you Pedro, the value at the bottom right is the Xp you won when you slain the monsters.
SupprimerSymbols are reminders of specials capacities from the bestiary
Amazing. Tks again!
