This is what I have come up with since our fridge isn't magnetic.
The kids LOVE IT! (yes, my kids are naked AGAIN).
I got an alphabet poster for a teaching store and used rubber cement to paste it to the metal. The oil pan had a grease coating on it which came off with SimpleGreen. I didn't want to put (or try to put a hole in it for hanging) a hole in it so I use the 3M picture hanging velcro. It worked famously and at only 22 months old! When the master the alphabet, I hope to make a new board with phonic sounds.
Where did you find the oil drip pan for the abc board? I'm looking for a cool magnetic board for my office and that was such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteDo you know if there is a way to write on the oil pan? I am sure that I sharpie would work, but how about a dry-erase marker?
DeleteDrip pans are available at walmart in the oil aisle, automotive section....lower shelves, look carefully
DeleteChalkboard paint would allow you to write on it with chalk or chalk markers. Dry erase would probably be easy to wipe off with the drip pan as is.
DeleteWhere did you get the magnet pan, I love t!
DeleteHow did you secure it to the wall?
ReplyDeleteShe said she used the 3M velcro. It's probably one of those that doesn't stick permanently to the wall and causes no damage.
DeleteWhat an awesome idea !!! more details please :)
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! Our fridge isn't magnetic either and I hate not having a good workspace for all of our alphabet magnets. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally awesome, can't wait to do it. You've made it to pinterest, watch out! :) I second the first 2 questions, and I'm dying to know the answer. Want to do it ASAP!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea...can't wait to hear where you got the magnetic pan either!!
ReplyDeleteDid you buy oil drip pan at ACE hardware? How did you mount it to the wall? We all here are dying to know the answers.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea (I saw this on Pinterest!) I found one today at NAPA (Ace Hardware didn't have them). The one I got is HUGE. I am wondering how you secured it to the wall, too. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteOk, we're all dying to know! Spill it on the oil drip pan! ((Sorry, couldn't help myself!))
ReplyDeleteI'm using this in my speech therapy office since I have no bulletin boards!
ReplyDeleteThe oil drip pans are $9.99 a piece at Autozone or any other automotive store. They are REALLY greasy at first, it took me 4 clorox wipes to get them "cleanish." I used the 3M picture hanging velcro things to hang them, but since I'm in a school in Houston, Texas in August and they turn off the AC at 4, it gets hot and those melted. Today I tried two strips of Velcro the width of the pans (one on top, one on bottom, as the pans don't lie flat unless all four corners are reinforced). We'll see how it goes.
I'm LOVING the idea and it will work well, I'm just having to hang it on a cinder block wall. They are not so heavy duty that you couldn't nail them to a wall at home, but again, you'd have to somehow mount the bottom corners as well just to make it lie flat, whether with nails or mounting squares or 3M Command strips.
I am so so happy to find your blog.
DeleteI am just feel so bad about all the magnict board are so expencie.
May I ask what size of your tray is?
Thank You
Above they said only $9.99 at Autozone for the drip pan.
DeleteWhat an awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteI literally just signed up for "pinterest" and didn't think I'd really use it. This is the first pin that I looked at and well, looks like I'll be heading to the auto store to get a drip pan for my 18 month old to be crafty with! Thanks for a great idea!
ReplyDeletei found your picture on pinterest this morning & ran out to get my oil drop pan. it's now hanging in our kitchen on a bottom wall for the kids to hang art work & such... what a great idea.. i just posted a blogged about it & linked you in there.. thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you all like it! I got an alphabet poster from a teaching store and used rubber cement to paste it to the metal. The oil pan will have a grease coating on it so I cleaned it with SimpleGreen. I didn't want to put (or try to put a hole it in for hanging) a hole in it so I used the 3m picture hanging velcro. It worked FAMOUSLY! When they master the alphabet, I hope to make a new board of phonic sounds.
ReplyDeleteHA!! I never thought it would be this big of a hit...I should have put clothes on my kid LOL!!!
hi. i'm sure you're sick of this, but where exactly did you get the oil pan? thx!
DeleteI just saw they have them at autozone for $10. I'm looking to make a chore chart for my kids. Love this idea for a multipurpose station.
DeleteLove this, oil pan and SimpleGreen on my shopping list! GREAT idea!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Thanks for sharing--the exact thing I have been looking for since our fridge is stainless. Found you on Pinterest
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea for my daughters room. The magnetics end up all over the kitchen when they are on the frig and I step on them so I am going to do this is her room for her.
ReplyDeletesaw this on pinterest and LOVE the idea! I'm past the age of alphabets with the kids but think this would be awesome to hang on their ways for artwork! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI also saw this on Pinterest and ended up getting one for my 19-month-old today...he loves it! Thanks for sharing your fantastic idea!
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly the type of idea I have been looking for. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I've been wanting something like this in our school room but a cookie sheet was all I could think of and seemed too small. This is perfect!
ReplyDeleteFound this on Pinterest this morning and love it! I reblogged about it at my Tumblr, Marion Street. Going to the local car supply place tomorrow.. what an awesome idea! Thank you :)

We just moved, and I was so excited to try this out in my little guy's new room. We put it up the long way, and my husband screwed it to the wall. My little guy loves it so far!
ReplyDeleteI bought one, am spray painting it for use in the bathroom. We are going to use for for makeup...hot glueing magnets on to the makeup, and small tin cans to hold brushes. Anyone else come up with other ways to hang this up? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThinking of doing this for my 2 year old son's room! And maybe for an outside chalkboard...who knows! The possibilities are endless! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Can't wait to put it in our playroom for the kids...where did you get the larger magnet letters? I have only been able to find the smaller ones. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is super late, but it could still help someone. Parie - I found "jumbo" magnetic letters on Amazon. Educational Insights has 2.5" uppercase letters. The pack is $20, am going to keep looking in case there are cheaper ones. I also found lots of poster options on Amazon.
DeleteParie, I got the large letters from a teacher supply store, even non-teachers can shop there (I'm not a teacher).
ReplyDeleteLove this idea!!!!! So going to do this for my boys!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many, many ways you could use this board!!! AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteThis would be a great option for families raising kids with special needs! Great for creating interactive schedule boards. Impressed!
ReplyDeletesaw this on pinterest and we rushed out to walmart that day. it was only $7 at our walmart!!!! i also just recently bought a laminator so i am laminating some alphabet flash cards to double back tape to it. we screwed ours to the wall in the very corners. and at the edge in the middle. you don't even notice the screws in it and it doesn't impact how he plays with it at all. they are flush with the pan. such a great idea. i've had a bajillion comments on how smart it was from people and totally wish i could take credit!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I am a Kindergarten teacher and am definitely going to recommend this to some of my students parents. This is a great and fun way to practice the alphabet at home! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Love this!
ReplyDeletejamie @ sewrockin.com
What a great idea - I know what my three nephews are getting for Christmas! Do you think painting it with chalkboard paint would work? I'm thinking that could make it even more interesting to them...
ReplyDeleteThis IS a great idea! I found this pinned on pinterest after a smashed eyeshadow incident yesterday with my 3 year old and I am totally doing a smaller version of this in my bathroom, and I'll put magnets on the back of all my makeup (using gorilla glue) and then stick it all out of reach but visible!!
ReplyDeleteI love this board but my 2 year old pulls off the cards :( any other ideas how to get them to stay so I can reuse the oil pan for something else later?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have posted a picture of my mostly naked kid on the internet.... it's pretty creepy if you ask me... and now this picture is all over pinterest. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteI had the urge to delete your post due to the fact it there wasn't one positive aspect about it and thought otherwise. Now all who see this will know that you have no class.
DeleteI think it is a perfectly natural picture, and I love the fact that my child is not the only one known to roam the house in absolutely nothing but a pull-up. My almost 4 year old has Autism and this board is a great idea. I plan to get an oil pan next time I am in town. It will be great for his visual stimulation and it can be used in so many ways. Thank you Jennifer
DeleteThere is absolutely nothing wrong with a baby in their diaper! My daughter spends the majority of her day hanging out in her diaper and I take lots of pics of whatever she is doing that is cute at the time. It's just a baby having fun.
Deletethat is not naked. that is diapered. do you see naked areas that are offensive. perhaps you have no children. only weirdos and perverts see offensive things in these picture. many many many children with autism can not stand their clothes. if you find THIS offensive. you should turn off your computer and just walk away, your computer is evil...
DeleteMy daughter will be 3 in September and is currently running around the house naked. We don't insist that she wear clothes unless other people are in our home. She's comfortable and happy!
DeleteSeriously? The kids are not completely naked.
DeleteThey have diapers on!
I have never been able to keep clothes on my kids!
This comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteP'cess if that is the first thing you think of then you are the one with a creepy mind.
ReplyDeleteI bought my oil pan at walmart, $9 and my letters/numbers. I am thinking of laminating not only the letters and numbers to match but also pictures of animals and everyday objects for recognition. My son is 13 months & he loves the magnets.
Thank you brucru. You would be amazed at some of the comments I have gotten. Someone even suggested that my kids were too old to be in diapers (at 22 months) and I should work on that before their alphabet. Thank you for voicing your comment.
DeleteMine too and I'm wondering the same thing!
DeleteLol, sorry this posted on the wrong comment. My pan has an embossed name on it. Was wondering if the rubber cement would still stick.
DeleteMine is embossed too and the letters are suck on there very well. That Rubber Cement really works. Be sure to clean it with SimpleGreen or a degreaser of some sort first.
DeleteThe only oil pan i found had the brand or something else embossed on it. Does that make it harder to rubber cement the letters to it?
ReplyDeleteI saw this on Pinterest and I'm going shopping this afternoon to put up in my 2 yr old's room TODAY! My frig is covered in magnets and this is a FANTASTIC idea and economical! They also have the large oil pans at Advance Auto.
ReplyDeleteI saw this idea on Pinterest and I just posted about it on my blog! Thanks for the inspiration:)
ReplyDeleteJust bought one today at Walmart. I am going to use it with my 5-year-old with sight word magnets.
ReplyDeleteI linked my blog post to this post to show the origin of the idea for the oil pan magnetic board. Thanks!
ReplyDeletehttp://keithaschaos.blogspot.com/2012/01/magnetic-board.html
That looks like a big iPhone!!! Great idea.. Where did you get the sheet?
ReplyDeleteJust ordered the drip pan from Walmart.com and will pick it up tomorrow!! I teach 5th grade and plan to tweek your idea a little to make a modified word wall!! Thank you for the great idea!!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Very ingenious. It's just what I've been looking for.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Has anyone tried to paint theirs with chalkboard paint? If so, how has that turned out?
ReplyDeleteI hope to find out how that works! The lip at the bottom would be a great dust collector too!
DeleteNext project now that my kids have mastered the alphabet are site words - 'at, 'un, and other word sounds they can put the magnetic letters next to and make words.
I would like to know too!!
DeleteI had a parent worried about it being galvanized and poisonous if ingested. Anyone else have someone make that comment?
ReplyDeleteI am not planning on my kids eating off the pan, so I'm not sure there is an issue.
DeleteThat's what I was thinking in my head, but refrained from saying it. :)
DeleteJennifer- can you remove the cardboard letters easily and put up numbers or something even though you used rubber cement? I guess I mean, will the rubber cement come off the board? Thanks
ReplyDeleteEmily,
DeleteThe letters are pretty well stuck to the board, which is a good thing in my house. The twins love to put all the letters on and then see how fast they can swipe them off. I am thinking of passing the board along to another mom when we are ready for phonics (which is soon!!!).
Came across this via Pinterest, and LOVE this idea! I made a version that is half chalkboard paint & love it. Thanks so much for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for this kind of thing for several month now, trying to buy a picture frame and sheet metal and creating something like this. But this idea is so much better. My girls love to play with magnets and we have a ton. So the fridge is for their art and this will be for playing with the letters and animals and stuff. I think I'll put some kind of cute border around it though, colorful rope or ribbon or maybe marbles or rocks. Just to give it a fun border.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea this is! Thank you for the inspiration!
I called Napa, they said they didn't have anything like that, called oreillys -same answer. Called autozone they said no too but when I described it like a huge cookie sheet the guy realized they had some like that, that were 24"x36" for $7.99. Yay!
you could use those 12x12 backsplash tiles, just cut the rows 2" thick and maybe fill the cracks with glitter glue, or if you cut the tiles apart you could glue them one butted up one next to another and not have to fill in any cracks.
DeleteI love this idea! This project is next on my to-do crafts list! Thank you so much for posting this! Its great when moms can share their creative ideas!
ReplyDeleteOh, and i think your son is adorable in his diaper! That is how my 2 1/2 year old son spends most of his days!
Hey Girl :) This is a fabulous idea!!
ReplyDeleteAnd for those who are making nasty remarks, it's just a kid in a diaper! Quit being so quick to judge others... at least that cute baby has a diaper on, it's not like you can see a buttcheek lol. It's like a swimsuit - get over it and leave this poor mama alone.
This is awesome! Can't wait until my little pumpkin is big enough for this! & the babies are cute...smh at the negative comments
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed that the cards actually get left on the board. If I made this for my 21 month old I know for a fact those letters would be all over the house! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and my 21 month old is still very much in diapers. ;)
My kids are destruction tornadoes too and the letters are still on. The rubber cement works fantastically!
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI had to delete my last post because I noticed I had a misspelling. I'm kind of crazy like that.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I was thinking of gluing magnets on the backs of my kids' puzzle pieces so they could make their puzzles on the fridge, but this would work so much better.
Your daughter is adorable and I love the picture! IMO, those who see creepiness in an innocent picture like this are perhaps the creepers themselves! It's kind of like the ink-blot test where you see what you want to see in totally ambiguous pictures...
Bonny I love your magnetic puzzle piece idea, I could use smaller inexpensive cookie sheets from the dollar store for my 25 piece puzzles! No more puzzle pieces all over the place.
DeleteThanks for a wonderful idea. Here is a link to my blog that shows how I put your idea to use in my Bible class: http://biblesongsandmore.wordpress.com/activities/wall/giant-magnetic-puzzle/
ReplyDeleteThat link didn't work too well without html. Here's another shot at it: Giant Magnetic Puzzle
DeleteI made a magnetic board as well and found the oil pans at Walmart.
ReplyDeleteI am going to use this idea in my classroom using artwork and artists. (I am the art teacher). I think you could use it for just about anything! Great idea.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea. I'm thinking of using it in my classroom. Many of my cards already have velcro or the small magnets on them already. Given that I teach multiple grades, I need ones I can change throughout the day. Already thinking of different ways this could be used. Next year, I might just need one each for Reading and Math!
ReplyDeleteHung ours today...Love it!
ReplyDeleteI had only seen this done on a smaller scale with cookie pans...I had no idea they made these drip pans and when I saw the post I got SUPER excited...LOL I only purchased one which I intend to use in my craft room for holding supplies and things. But I'm going back to get another to put up in our kitchen. I'm hoping I can paint it with chalkboard paint and it will be a great place for artwork and to jot notes, what we need from the store...that kind of thing. It's sure going to free up a lot of space on my fridge! Thanks for a great idea!
ReplyDeletei have three cookie sheet magnet boards, for letters, they are great and portable :)
DeleteI love this idea Is there a website for the alphabet magnet I can't find them where I live I just found the small ones is there a website I could go to for the teacher supply store where you got them from .
ReplyDeleteI went to Lake Shore Learning.
Deletehttp://www.lakeshorelearning.com/
It occurs to me that you could get a stick of plumbers putty and fasten your wall hanger of choice to the back of the pan. I am planning a similar project to act as a family messaging board/picture display.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'd love permission to use you photo for a presentation on Organizer's Favorite things at the upcoming National Assoc of Pro Organizer's conference...

Fantastic idea! Posted to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SecularHomeschoolSociety
ReplyDeleteI made my own board based on your idea. Here is my link to my blog post and I created you with the original idea. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.
ReplyDeletehttp://pinkiefae.blogspot.com/2012/03/pinterest-inspired-projects-calendar.html
wow. this is cool. where were you 3 years ago. my ASD son would love this. he loves magnets and sneaks them off the fridge all the time to stick on his tonka. he knows his letters, but i can skip ahead i guess to phonics and site words. oooooor..... maybe make a roadmap and little car magnets.... :)
ReplyDeleteI remember using these magnetic board/alphabet board to learn what are the looks of each letter in the alphabet. It's really cute to do it into your children.
ReplyDeleteLove this! So much cheaper than my original "magnetic board plan"! Glad I found this, I'll probably use it as my daughter's art display too!
ReplyDeleteVery fun idea. I don't normally do crafty things, and I am probably the least craft-oriented person I know, so I am surprised to be saying that I took your idea and ran with it. I got an oil drip pan just like yours for $11.99 at Wal-Mart. Got all of the supplies you described and it all worked out great. Thanks for sharing this idea. I can't wait to unveil this to my son tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMy kids are too old to do this with now but I am going to buy one for myself to make a big magnetic inspiration board above my craft desk.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic!!! I've been trying to find something (inexpensive) to use for my sons for their All About Spelling tiles. This is perfect!!! Plus at these prices I can get one for each boy. I love it...Thanks to you and Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteYou know- for versatility- if you have very little wall space, you could double this as a felt play center by putting magnets on the back of some that "hard" felt and then totally having a felt and magnetic board in one! Love this idea! You Rock!
ReplyDeleteSomewhere - someplace - this summer I have read that there is magnetic border. So for us (who are waiting on grandbabies and have to use this in our classroom) border would dress it up a little if using for standards or word wall.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea! Thanks so much.
I'm thinking of painting it with chalkboard paint...
ReplyDeleteClever, the way you did it and I think the animal that matches the alphabet letter would be nice too. I also thought of turning this idea into a chalk board...but that would be for a child that is older than 1. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI got my drip pan at AutoZone today! I can't wait to introduce this into our preschool classroom in September. I'm considering covering the flat part with butcher paper to make it a little more visually appealing. I have plans to change the focus every so often - letters, numbers, shapes, colors - so many possibilities! THANK YOU for the wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say this was an amazing idea!! I have been in a major search for developmentally appropriate toys for my 21 month old that are SOOOO expensive and easily changeable. I bought the oil drip pan from Walmart today with 2 packs of ABC magnets and a pack of number magnets. I'm a speech therapist so I've got quite a few packs of flash cards that could easily be changed out for different purposes on the board.
ReplyDeleteTip for those who don't want to hang it: I'm also not hanging our but leaning it vertically or horizontally depending on what she's doing and then just hiding it in the closet when she's done :)
I love this idea, just yesterday I was wondering what I could use at craft fairs to display small packages. I wanted to use magnets so that the packages would not be damaged but cookie sheets just were not big enough. This is genius! I also thought this would be so cool in my ten year old twin girls craft/playroom to display their artwork. Paint it pink, maybe with some small chalk board paint squares so they could write notes next to their art. BTW, saw this on Pintrest this morning, added pick up drip pan to my list of things to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm wanting to cover this with fabric and use it as a backdrop for a schedule/calender area. Do you have ideas for how I could do that? I was thinking Mod Podge but I haven't used that a lot. Seems like it could be a huge mess and might dilute the magnetic effect? What do you think?
ReplyDeleteKJTUTOR: How about making it multi-purpose;
ReplyDeletePerhaps some chalk paint on part, even cork square to pin things. Or, better yet, one next to each other for each of these purposes.
Oil drip pans are usually made of galvinized metal which has lead in the zinc oxide coating. Please check the board! I would hate for you to have a lead containing board up in your home without your knowledge.
ReplyDeleteThe oils being wiped off are actually a protective coating to keep the steel from rusting. I would consider sealing the metal with a non toxic sealer after removing the protective coating, unless you don't care that it may eventually start to rust (which could be a neat look in itself - though not around children).
ReplyDeleteAs for lead content, there may be trace amounts, after all, this isn't meant to be inside the house, but unless you're going to cut it with a saw (and breath the dust), or eat off of it, there shouldn't be reason for concern. Sealing and/or painting the metal (with non toxic products) would make for even less concern. That said, if you have kids it's certainly something to be aware of. I would be especially cautious of something from Wal-mart.
Though it would be permanent, If you want an industrial look this would be cool attached to the wall with nuts/bolts (and molly anchors).
Rubydia, I've used Mod Podge on metal before and it doesn't interfere with the magnetic effect at all, unless there's very little to begin with. No more than chalk board paint would (which would also look cool on this).
Gawd I hate numerical/word verification....
Does anyone know where I could buy one of these in Canada? I can not get them at Walmart or Canadian Tire. I would love to buy two of them for a Christmas present.
ReplyDeleteI am having the same problem... best I can find is a large cookie sheet, but they are aluminum and therefore not magnetic :(
DeleteThanks for this smart and creative idea! :)
ReplyDeletei found my oil pan at wal-mart for less than 10. all i want to know is where you found the large ABC magnets?
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly is this oil pan thing?
DeleteI need something like this but only about 16"x20". Does anybody know where I can get one for a decent price?
ReplyDeleteyou can purchase sheet metal at lowe.s a 24 x 35 sheet costs about $10 and more than likely they'll cut it the size you want it.
DeleteI absolutely LOVE this idea. We also don't have a magnetic fridge. This will be kept in the kids playroom. I plan to make a few alterations though. Because I can't find an oil pan without grooves or embossing of some sort, I'm going to purchase some sheet metal from Lowes (You can get a 24 x 35 sheet for under $10). I then plan on covering it with fabric and then framing it with some sort of molding!
ReplyDeleteLove this idea for my classroom. I need a magnetic board behind my teacher desk...this is perfect. By the way, your little one is adorable. Ignore the rude comments...some people just have to find something to criticize.
ReplyDeleteIt's on my list. As an artist I have lots of scraps of paper with ideas, sketches, color swatches, project lists, color wheels that I can finally have insight where I need it. Yahoo! Brilliant idea!.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who can't find this at Walmart.com??? Does anyone have the direct link?
ReplyDeleteJust bought one of these, we got it at O'Reilly Auto Parts, its a great idea
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if you can buy an oil drip pan at homedepot or lowes?? Both Autozone and Walmart at a good 25-30mins + from me.. OR do they sell them at all autozone type stores.. anyone know :)
ReplyDeleteWhat A great Idea. Kids will definitely learn from that. I hope I can find all parts to our local store. Funbrain
ReplyDeleteI found your post from Pinterest and I can't wait to go out and buy one of these! I have an autistic son who LOVES magnets and I have been researching magnetic paint, this is much cheaper and better. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try this. Thank you very much for sharing. I love new unique ideas. Have a great day!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I am going to get one and try this out. Thank you so much!
ReplyDelete: 0 ) Theresa (Capri + 3)
This IS such a great idea...unfortunately now that we just moved to Canada, I couldn't find this pan anywhere (I checked Home Depot, Lowe's, Canadian Tire...). I'm not sure if they use their cars differently here or what!!! Anyway, I referenced this great idea in my blog, and shared what I ended up doing instead (along with a lot of research!). Thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteFor those of you in Canada I found one at NAPA 2ft x 4ft for $21. Hey also have smaller ones.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea, that I cannot wait to try out!

This is what I have come up with since our fridge isn't magnetic. ... magneticblocks.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWe did the same thing in our playroom! Our daughter loves it. Check out how we did it http://bit.ly/1K0hC4X I love connecting with other mommas
ReplyDeleteI covered the pan with a large piece of flannel, so we can use both magnets AND felt board pieces.
ReplyDeleteI used spray adhesive on the "bottom" of the drip pan and then secured the edge with hot glue on the reverse side. For aesthetics, I covered the seam with duct tape. Works great!
About how big is this pan?
ReplyDeleteGood Blog, i like background pattern!
