Wish list

Now that Christmas is over, 2010 is approaching an end. I was asked what would I want for Christmas. If it was to my bf, I would jokingly say inner-wears! 'Coz I know he is too shy to get me those! *Grin*

Back to the topic... What I really wish for aren't something material.

Let's make them my new year resolutions.

1) Sister able to settle all expanses to further study in Birmingham.
2) Pass MRCOG!
3) Settle my 'acute' debts.
4) Save and buy a house.
5) Mummy's homecoming.
6) Get posted to an ideal district with Ernest, and able to apply home thereafter.

Not too greedy am I? God grant me, I will work for it!

This Christmas

This Christmas...

Has shattered by a news brought to me early morning. Poh Lin was taken home to be with the Lord on this fated day. Having said that, it would never put a full stop to the impact her life could ever exert.

Advanced pancreatic carcinoma and its complications stroke her at a young age. The period where I saw her with gradual weight lost, her smile was unchanged. She remained jovial despite the pain she underwent. She had miraculously outlived the given prognosis.

Beautiful Poh Lin, one who smiled and fought through all adversities strongly, God's precious child, my dearest friend, a blessing and inspiration, I thank God for knowing you, for the faith and strength within you and for the legacy you left behind. You'd done a great job.

Rest in peace with our Lord Jesus, Poh Lin. You will always be missed dearly.
