I can feel stress rising from all corners in uni. Examination rooms are labelled readily, CSU packed with students for practices, study groups are on-going, my housemates' midnight lights are burning daily, people walk around as though the word "STRESS" is crafted on the foreheads.

It is going to be my turn half a year later.

Semester 10: 4th-7th Aug.
Semester 9: MEQ 13th Aug., OSPE 15th Aug., OSCE 21st Aug.
Semester 7: SAQ 12th Aug., OSPE 14th Aug., OSCE 19th Aug.

Giving you my full moral support my friends! May God grant you all you need to excel in exams. You all can make it!

Two more graduates

Congrats Chiu Shing and Lee Min, who had already owned the power of earning! *Envious* All the best for your future undertaking.

I love studying much more than working. Ironically, am counting down days to graduate, want to start earning soon! It is a phase of life where I would like to stop being financially dependent on family, rather contribute a little.

There are some awards for outstanding work or presentation too but I doubt our piece of work is good enough for that. Can't wait to get it over fast!

Very Important Person

As usual, I was tagging along a doctor for clinic session.

Medical assistant (MA): The Timbalan Menteri, Dr. XXX's daughter is here.

Doctor: Ok, ask him to come in after this patient.

MA went out to call the Timbalan Menteri and his daughter. Back into the room a minute later...

MA: He is still registering...

And I saw the VIP soon after he registered bypassing waiting time.

Ever wonder why is life so unfair? Not only a small matter like this but as whole. Well, if there are things to complain about it would be an endless list.

On the bright side, aren't all the unfairness makes us work towards something more aggressively? It's a training process building up our characters. There are things that we need to live with anyway. As what the Chinese says, "close one eye" and just be contented with what we have.

Life is unfair but God is just.

幕后小丑

之前在BORDERS摄的这一幅画，觉得蛮有意思。

多年前就有个愿望，就是想当一当小丑，把自己滑稽打扮一番，不被别人认出，就能不顾仪态地尽情搞笑，逗逗大家开心。

小丑也有累的时候，只不过休息了以后还得继续安守本份，擦干泪水，再把欢乐带给大家。

有时我也
累了，泪了，不想回家了...
想了，诉了，依然还需前进。

Dermato fun

Has been busy lately, don't know what have I achieved so far but days just seemed so occupied. I haven't come to feel what people claim Semester 8 as a honey moon yet. Ended dermatology, the 2 weeks posting was too short to indulge myself further. But I am loving it!

As a medical student, I haven't even completed a quater of my textbook. Slacking...

As a patient, it was a fruitful posting as I got my skin tag treated! I had this slow growing tiny skin tag on my neck for years. Happened to be in the procedure room and self treated with cryotherapy, a nitrogen liquid spray where the skin tag was freezed and peeled off in 2 days.

The healing process... Having mild ache for a few days, but to see it gradually peeled off was so exciting!

On the first day of the posting itself, a doctor suggested me to get my acne treated. I was reminded a few times there after. Here it is, a whole series of anti-acne products, ranging from soap, cleanser, benzoyl peroxide and topical retinoid. See if I can clear my acne off completely.

Last but not least, a group snap in the phototherapy chamber. Thanks Hui Chien, for being a great leader. ENT posting next, hoping for better group unity and proactivity.
