Raindrops on Lupin

A rainy day and I was on my way to the supermarket. These petals of  Lupine has collected a really large drop in the center making it a perfect magnifying glass for the, actually, nice looking center.

As you know I have a lot on my mind but I always returns a visit.

Driving in water

Today I enter twice. First NatureFootstep where I have my best shots. Then I also contribute with NF Bildverkstan where I share images from the same photosession but where you can see the difference with and without sunlight.  If it seem complicated it is because I use Bildverkstan for Tips and Trix, that is why I post it in that blog. Sunlit mail trucks

This was kind of fun. I was driving by the parked mail trucks. And I actually turned around to get this shot. The sun is shining from the left in the image and the sunlit side of the truck reflects the light to the other truck. You can see the difference it made by comparing them to the closest side that is in shadow.

And, I´m taking a break!
Next monday I´m on a plane to the other side of the world. I´ll be gone for a little more then 3 weeks. The next edition of NF Inspiring Photo  will be September 9th.

NF Photo 111122

In last weeks NF Abstract I had one of those colorful, shiny, images. Seemed to be quite popular. So I give you some more this week. This is quite simple to do if you have an hour o spare and want to play around a bit.  I did it in my sink. Used a wine glass and a yellow aluminium sheet I bought in the bookstore. And water and light of course. I think it is the lamp that lits up the sink when you do the dishes that is used. Looks better then the flash. But is a bit harder.

Somebody said it is Leovi style. But it is not. It is NatureFootstep style. I´m no copycat. I did this kind of shots long before I even knew about him. I like to play sometimes. He is actually the reason why I rarely post images like this. If there is too much of something I avoid it. But this week I´ll post colorful and shiny.

NF Abstract, a meme for abstract photo art and creative work. I start this meme as I hope to challenge myself in my photography and artwork. To me, so far, it is all about photography and manipulation of my shots in a, hopefully, creative way. Lately I have started to also create the images, not just document what I find. Now I want to proceed. And I hope some of you want to share that process with me.

The topic can, of course, be interpreted in many ways and you can use whatever means you want as long as the result is Abstract.

Leaf reflection

This is a shot that I only needed to Blur a lot. Nothing else.
Digital art is fun but don´t forget to enjoy the summer. And you can snap shots to use as abstracts when darkness is here again. There is a long winter ahead.

This is a pair of sunglasses I found abandoned on a log. Had some fun with it but did not think of cleaning it first. It did catch some great reflections of the sunlight despite being a bit dirty.

Reflected sunlight

This is quite easy. I was working out in front of my TV set and saw the sun reflecting on the black TV. I switched the TV off and took some shots. Then continued my workout. This is what came out of it. :)

I was out paddling that day when this one landed on my kayak. Image from my archives of course. Today we have -16 °C outdoors. This was before I started to ID them so I don´t know what species it is. But I think it looks like a flower on the wing. :)
