Today

Today started out quite marvelous - I had breakfast in bed!  This is a first for me so I was very excited - I will say that the girls were probably 10 times more excited than I was - but it was fun.  Ashley was kind enough to take my picture - and then the girls sat by me and drank milk and watched me eat (I had to subdue the voice in me that wanted to tell the girls that they better not spill or else. . .but they did good).

After that we just kind of had an easy day - it was Aaron's day off and he had things to do in town and he scraped our new gravel outside in our driveway - hopefully a picture to come sometime.  The girls have been begging to go swimming in Grandpa John's pool, so we took them.  I cannot believe the difference a year makes.  Last year they were very dependent on Aaron and I - they were terrified of the slide, they wouldn't even climb up the ladder.  Today they were going down the slide all by themselves and and getting their hair wet (quite an accomplishment for Ashley) it was fun.

Then we finished the day with our first garden dinner - we have been enjoying some vegetables - mostly zucchini, but today we had potatoes, beets and carrots - it was so yummy!  Hopefully  tomatoes will come soon.

Also today Wyatt figured out how to do puzzles!  I thought after two kids things wouldn't be quite as exciting to watch happen for the third - but I am amazed when Wyatt learns new things and I get so excited - so while this video may be painful to watch (it is about a minute and a half) I think it is so fun and amazing that Wyatt has figured out puzzles!  Just last week he was banging away at them and hitting them and now he can do it!
(and as a bonus feature you get information on how to make a locket Kailyn style!)

I didn't get nearly enough time at the kim and aaron household. The only glimpses i had of your girls were them "only touching Avery's feet". I don't think anyone really saw much of Wyatt...he just wouldn't stay still long enough.
I am going to go make a locket right now...

Paddington Bear...we dressed up in a huge yellow raincoat, and came in your room while you were asleep and stood over you until you woke up. You were scared to death! So sorry -- it was a mean thing; I'm not sure why it seemed so funny at the time! Hooray to finally be in touch with you! Check out Cambry's blogs too: They are under "Oliver" and "Lennox"...she's adopted twice in the past year!! Yay! :)
