THEY HAVE CRAFTS , VINYL, HAIR BOWS, BUMBLE WATCHES, THE CUTEST SCRAP BOOK PAPER, RIBBON, AND THE CUTEST FLOWERS IT WAS A BAD TIME TO TAKE NATE WITH ME, HE SAT IN THE CAR AND KEPT CALLING ME TO HURRY UP, I COULDN'T RESIST LOOKING AND GAZING AT EVERYTHING WITH AWE. BUT, I FINALLY GRABBED A COUPLE PAPER THAT I WENT THERE FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE, AND THE OWNER DONNA PROBABLY THOUGHT I WAS A LITTLE ODD STARING AT EVERYTHING THEY HAD, BUT A WEEK LATER WE WERE AT THE SAME HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE AND SHE HAD NO IDEA I DID VINYL AND CRAFTS, SO I GAVE HER MY CARD AND THE NEXT DAY SHE CALLED AND ASKED IF I WOULD TAKE OVER, OF COURSE I SAID "YES" SINCE I LOVED THE STORE THE FIRST TIME I STEPPED MY FOOT IN THE DOOR, SO EVERYONE THIS IS A MUST SEE STORE. THANKSGIVING WAS OF COURSE GREAT! WHO DOESN'T LIKE TO HAVE AN EXCUSE TO EAT, EAT, EAT AND EAT SOME MORE? AFTER OUR FABULOUS MEAL US GIRLS STARTED SCOUTING OUT THE ADS FOR BLACK FRIDAY. JAMIE AND I TRIED TO CONVINCE EVERYONE ELSE TO COME WITH US AT MIDNIGHT TO THE PARK CITY OUTLETS MIDNIGHT MADNESS, BUT OUR CONVINCING JUST WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. SO AS WE DEPARTED FROM MY GRANDMOTHER'S EVERYONE KEPT TELLING US NOT BE VERY CAREFUL AND TO WATCH FOR DEER, SO WE STARTED OUR ADVENTURE AT 10:30 P.M. UP THE WEBER CANYON.

WE KEPT JOKING THAT NOW THAT EVERYONE KEPT WARNING US ABOUT THE DEER WE WERE ACTUALLY GOING TO HIT ONE. SO AS JAMIE IS IN A MIDDLE OF A STORY VERY CALMING SHE SAYS," there's our deer!" I DIDN'T EVEN CATCH ON TO WHAT SHE SAID UNTIL SHE STARTED SLOWING DOWN AND PULLING OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD I FINALLY SAW THE HUGE 6 POINT START CHARGING US. LUCKILY THE HUGE ELK CHANGED HIS DIRECTION AND STARTED RUNNING ALONG THE SIDE OF US AND THEN THE MOOSE RAN BACK IN TO THE TREES, FEWWW THAT WAS A CLOSE ONE! JAMIE HANDLED IT REALLY WELL EXCEPT THE REST OF THE WAY HER ADRENALINE WAS RUNNING SO SHE DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM STAYING AWAKE.(by the way it really was a deer, we kept changing our story to everyone who kept warning us and jinked us with the meeting of the deer)SO IF YOU WERE ONE OF THE FIRST 100 PEOPLE YOU GOT A $10.00 GIFT CARD TO ANY STORE SO THAT WAS OUR GOAL BUT BY THE TIME WE GOT THERE THE LINE LOOKED LIKE THIS
IT WAS ALL THE WAY BACKED UP TO THE ROAD THAT YOU TURN DOWN TO GET TO THE OUTLETS SO WE DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE FOR THE $10,DANG IT! WE WERE SO EXCITED TO START SHOPPING WE GOT ALL OF OUR WAMR CLOTHES ON AND WE WERE OFFTHEY HAD SOME AWESOME DEALS MOST EVERYTHING WAS 50% OFF OR BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. AFTER OUR SHOPPING SPREE THERE WE HEAEDED TO WALMART AT 3:30 A.M. WE DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT LONG WE JUST GRABBED OUR STUFF AND WENT AND CHACKED OUT. SO BY 5:00 A.M WE WENT TO SHOPKO CAUSE WE WANTED THESE LITTLE PEOPLE BARN SET FOR $5.00 OHHH THE LINE WAS RIDICULOUS! we stood in the line for 1 1/2 HOURS IT WAS AWEFUL! BY THEN I HAD PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING ON MY LIST COMPLETED, KYSON IS PRETTY MUCH DONE HE JUST NEEDS A COUPLE LITTLE THINGS NOW AND TAIGE IS ALMOST DONE, I'M STILL LOST ON WHAT ELSE TO GET HER THOUGH SO IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS FOR A 2 YEAR OLD LET ME KNOW! I HAD MY MOM COME PICK ME UP IN RIVERDALE TO GO TO TAI PAN AND REAL DEALS WE GOT A $5.00 GIFT CARD AT REAL DEALS SO THAT WAS COOL. WE DIDN'T SEE TO MANY FISH BUT WE DID FIND THISA MUSK RAT TRYING TO FIND FOOD.
WE HAD A GREAT WEEKEND THANKS AGAIN MOM AND DAD FOR A GREAT WEEKEND GET-AWAY!

:OFF THE MARKET:

MY LITTLE SISTER IS OFFICALLY OFF THE MARKET. CASEY PROPOSED FRIDAY NIGHT AND THEY ARE PLANNING ON GETTING MARRIED ON MARCH 6TH IN THE LOGAN TEMPLE. MCKALL'S RING IS GORGEOUS! IT'S THE VINTAGE STYLE AND SHE LOVES IT. WE ARE ALL SO EXCITED FOR HER AND CASEY, WE REALLY LIKE CASEY ALOT, HE CAME TO THE UINTAHS WITH US CAMPING AND I THINK THAT'S WHEN EVERYONE DECIDED THAT HE WAS A PRETTY COOL KID. Nate and I just celebrated our 5 year anniversary. I guess we really didn't celebrate to much since I did a craft fair all weekend but, we did make it to dinner and did a little shopping while we had a sitter with the kids.

I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE TIME AS GONE, MINUS THE BODY FIGURE, THE OLD AGE, THE BALDNESS, AND THE 2 KIDS LATER. IT HAS GONE BY PRETTY FAST. NATE I KNOW MIGHT SAY DIFFERENT J/K. BUT I HAVE LOVED BEING MARRIED TO MY BEST FRIEND AND MAKING FUN FAMILY MEMORIES WITH. NATE IS VERY PATIENT AND PUTS UP WITH ALOT FROM ME. HE IS ALWAYS MAKING ME LAUGH WITH HIS DUMB JOKES, HIS SINGING ABILITY OR WHEN HE IS ABOUT TO JAB A NEEDLE IN MY LEG. HE IS A VERY HARD WORKER AND HE DEF. KNOWS HOW TO PLAY. IT WAS THEIR FIRST TIME, SO IT WAS KINDA INTERESTING TO SEE THEIR REACTION, TAIGE WAS ALL ABOUT THE BALLS ROLLING OUT AND WANTED IT TO BE HER TURN EVERYTIME. BUT I KNOW NOW THAT THEY HAVE TO WARN YOU SO YOU CAN BLAME YOUR NAUGHTY CHILD ON OR AROUND THE PHRASE. KYSON WENT THROUGH A TERRBILE 2 STAGE WITH THE BITING AND BEING THE BULLY WITH TOYS, BUT EVENTUALLY OVER CAME THAT NAUGHTY STAGE. TAIGE ON THE OTHER HAND IS A WHOLE OTHER STORY! I LOVE MY KIDS TO DEATH BUT I WILL ADMIT THAT THERE ARE DAYS THAT I CAN'T WAIT FOR NATE TO WALK IN THE DOOR SO I CAN WALK OUT FOR A BIT. TAIGE WILL BE TURNING 2 IN A WEEK 1/2, AND I AM PRETTY SURE HER STAGE OF THE PHRASE AS ALREADY HIT! ABOUT A MONTH AGO SHE STARTED THROWING A FIT ABOUT GOING TO BED AND NORMALLY SHE LOVES TO BE LEFT ALONE IN HER CRIB, SHE WAS NEVER A CUDDLY BABY AND I ACTUALLY HAVE NEVER HAD HER FALL ASLEEP IN MY ARMS BY CRADDLING HER, UNLIKE MY MOM SHE HAS BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE TAIGE FALL ASLEEP IN HER ARMS I BELEIVE TWICE. SHE WAS ALWAYS SUCH A GOOD BABY. SO AFTER THROWING A COUPLE FITS AND KICKING NATE OUT OF OUR BED TO SLEEP WITH HER MOM A FEW TIMES I TOLD NATE, "MAYBE IT'S TIME FOR A BIG GIRL BED." NATE AGREED. SO AFTER SETTING HER BED UP MAKING IT SOUND SO FUN TO BE A BIG GIRL AND SLEEP IN A BIG BED LIKE MOMS AND DADS SHE THREW ANOTHER FIT. DIDN'T WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH HER BED. SO THAT NIGHT NATE AND I TRIED TO PLAY SUPER NANNY AND KEEP PUTTING HER BACK TO BED WITHOUT TALKING TO HER, FINALLY AFTER 3 1/2 HOURS OF THE BATTLE NATE GAVE UP AND SHUT HER DOOR TIGHT, SHE SCREAMED AND SCREAMED AND KICKED AT HER DOOR FINALLY AFTER THE 5 HOUR RUCUS NATE SAID, "I'LL SLEEP ON THE COUCH" HE PUT TAIGE IN BED WITH ME AND SHE WAS OUT IN 2 MINUTES FLAT. SO THE BED THING IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS, BUT HER NEW THING IS STRIPPING OFF ALL OF HER CLOTHES TO RUN IN THE NUDE. SHE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT MODESTY WHAT SO EVER. SHE DOESN'T WANT A THING TO DO WITH NATE, SHE HAS TO MAKE SURE SHE SEE'S ME OR SHE STARTS SCREAMING AND CRYING. NATE TOOK ME OUT FOR MY BIRTHDAY ON THURSDAY AND HAD HIS AUNT WATCH THE KIDS, I GUESS TAIGE SCREAMED AND CRIED FOR 20 MINUTES AFTER SHE SAW ME GET INTO THE CAR. (sorry again Jodi and Troy!) YESTERDAY SHE HAD ME RUNNING ALL OVER THE PLACE TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH HER. I WAS TRYING TO GET SOME CRAFTS DONE FOR THE OPEN HOUSE I HAD LAST NIGHT, AND EVERY TIME I TURNED MY HEAD SHE WAS BUTT YES I SAY BUTT NAKED! SHE FIRST CAME INTO THE KITCHEN AFTER I HAD GOTTEN HER READY FOR THE DAY WITH ALL OF HER CLOTHES OFF SO I TURNED HER BACK AROUND AND WENT AND PUT HER CLOTHES BACK ON. ABOUT 5 MINUTES LATER SHE CAME IN AND TOLD ME, "MOMMY POOP" SO I ASKED HER IF SHE HAD TO GO POOP SHE SAID YES, SO I TAKE HER IN SET HER ON THE TOILET AND AFTER SITTING FOR 2 SECS. SHES SAYS,"DONE MOMMY" WELL NOTHING HAPPENED SO I JUST FIGURED SHE WAS PLAYING, SO I GET HER DRESSED WITH A NEW DIAPER AND NO LIE 2 MINUTES LATER SHE COMES BACK INTO THE KITCHEN BUTT NAKED AGAIN AND SAYS, "POOP MOMMY" WITH A BIG SMILE. SO I FOLLOW HER INTO HER ROOM AND SURE ENOUGH THERE WAS POOP ON HER BEDROOM FLOOR WITH HER DIAPER NO WHERE IN SIGHT. SHE HAD THROWN HER DIAPER IN THE GARBAGE STILL DRY AND CLEAN AS CAN BE. SO AFTER PUTTING HER IN TIME OUT FOR A MINUTE I GET HER DRESSED AGAIN. ABOUT 2 HOURS LATER SHE CAME OUT OF THE PLAY ROOM BUTT NAKED AGAIN SO I GOT HER DRESSED WITH A DIAPER ON, THEN 5 MINUTES LATER I WENT TO PUT HER DOWN FOR A NAP, AS I LIFTED HER UP I FELT SOMETHING RUNNING DOWN MY HAND AND SURE ENOUGH SHE WAS PEEING, SHE HAD TAKEN HER DIAPER OFF AND PUT HER PANTS BACK ON, SO SHE PRETTY MUCH WET HER PANTS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO DO. SHE DOESN'T LIKE HER DIAPERS APPARENTLY AND SHE'S NOT INTO HER UNDERPANTS RIGHT NOW EITHER. ANY SUGGESTIONS?!? ON A HAPPIER NOTE SHE IS STILL MY LITTLE PRINCESS(with attitude) AND IS ALWAYS MAKING ME LAUGH
SHE IS ALWAYS DANCING AROUND AND SINGING, LAST WEEK IN SACRAMENT THE LADY IN FRONT OF US TURNED AND SAID,"SHE NEEDS TO BE IN THE WARD CHOIR." SHE'LL TRY AND SING THE LOUDEST SO SHE MAKES SURE YOU CAN HEAR HER. I DID ASK THE DOCTOR IF SHE IS HAVING ANXIETY OR SOMETHING AND HE TOLD ME THAT 1-2 YEAR OLDS GO THROUGH AN SEPERATION ANXIETY, SO HE THINKS TAIGE IS GOING THROUGH IT. HOPEFULLY SHE GETS OVER IT FAST BECAUSE IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY! I HOPE THIS IS HER TERRIBLE 2'S AND SHE'LL OVERCOME THIS PHRASE BEFORE HER 2ND BIRTHDAY IN 2 WEEKS!

:Private Time:

So I have decided to go "PRIVATE", I have had mixed feelings for awhile, I love having old friends come across my blog. But then, my family's safety is more important to me, and the thought of identity theft becoming easier and easier to get, makes me worried and wants to protect my kids. So the time has come for the Christensen's to go hide, if you would like to continue checking in on us PLEASE leave your email address. We love family and friends checking in on us also, so if you don't have a blog please still leave your email address, so I can add you. :Uintahs:

We went up camping to the Uintahs 2 weeks ago, and had a blast! We go with the Crowther's every year, it used to be the BOY's Deer Hunt but, then my sister's and I started going and then all the wifes and girls started coming along so needless to say us girls sort of ruined it for the BOYS, but we still have a lot of fun and the boys still get to be boys!

It rained on us everyday for about a 1/2 which seems like we were on the fourwheelers everytime, but it just made it funnier. I forgot Taige's baby at home and she can't go anywhere without one so Mckall made her a homemade one out of towels and washcloths but Taige didn't seem to mind as long as she had something to cuddle with. We sat around the campfire reminicing about other family traditions and family memories. My cousin Bret and his wife put on a slideshow one night of all our family get togethers. We did ALot of fun fourwheeler rides. We usually shoot clay pigeons after we see the waterfall, but right when we got down there it started raining so, we kinda wimped out. My dad drove the Jeep down with all the guns and Paeyden and Kyson wanted in the Jeep so after the bumpy ride they fell asleep on top of eachother. Kyson loved playing with all of his cousins. Our one cousin Sage had a bebe gun and him, Kyson adn Bryden would go shoot bears and bring back a ton of wood to throw in the fire telling us it was the bear they shot. We had a great time my kids loved it. Kyson keeps asking me when we are going camping again. Thanks boys for letting it be a family trip now!

:House For Sale:

We are selling our house AGAIN! Nate, I guess is ready to do this ALL OVER again. So we're not quite sure where we are going to build again so, if you know any cheap loTs anywhere, fill us in! I have loved our neighborhood and our ward. We might just build in the second phase and stay where we are. Our home has 4 beds and 2 baths.

Fully fenced 6 Ft. privacy fence with an R.V pad, Auto Sprinkler System, and Decorative Curbing, no plants yet though.
Kitchen with Knotty Alder Cabinets and black trim. With vaulted ceilings.

Living Room with a gas fireplace and plant shelves. Also with vaulted ceilings.

Master bed with Tray ceiling and a fan.

Master bath with corner jetted tub and separate Shower, with a huge walk-in closet.

{Tonsils}

Kyson has had problems with his tonsils for the longest time! The Dr. wanted to take them out right before Ky turned 2, I was a little nervous putting Kyson under at such a young age so we have waited as long as we could. 2 weeks ago Kyson was complaining that his tongue hurt so I got the flash light out and took a look down his throat, I couldn't even see a hole for food to go down. So I got him into the Dr. and he gave him an antibiotic to help the swelling and then we made an appointment for the end of September to get them taken out. A week later Kyson still had a sore throat and his tonsils once again were touching and making friends with eachother in the back of his mouth, So I took him back to the Dr. to get another antibactic, the Dr. took a look and said, "We'll see you in the morning at 7:00 at the hospital". So that night I dropped Taige off at my mom's and Jamie kept her over night, we took Kyson to Walmart and he picked out his very own ice cream and Popsicles. Then the next morning bright and early we headed to the Hospital. Nate helping Kyson get in his gown Kyson was so excited to have his sore throat better....little did he know Kyson listening to his heart, waiting to go to the surgical room Still waiting....

We had to be there by 8:00 Kyson was schedule for the surgical room at 9:00 we sat around trying to keep Kyson entertained until 12:45 with no eating or drinking that was pretty hard. The nurse was so nice, she tried helping as much as she could to keep Kyson happy, they gave him so Happy Med. so calm him down so he wasn't nervous to be by himself without Nate and I when they put him under. He was so funny on the med. He just kept giggling for no reason and his balance was really off. The nurse gave him some water and a syringe to keep him busy he was so druggie he kept spilling it. Kyson did pretty good during surgery, but waking up was not so FUN. I could hear them bringing him down the hall just crying and thrashing and him yelling, "my mommy, my mommy' it was pretty heart breaking. We had to wait another 3 1/2 hours before he could get discharged and he had to have something to eat before they would let us go. so finally at 6:00 we were headed out the door

Poor Kyson was so drugged and sore he didn't know what was going on. So this is what our week has consisted of....

I hope he will start feeling good soon. It has been so sad watching him be in so much pain and not being able to do a whole lot for the little guy. There has been a few fevers, alot of drooling, some crying and alot of sleeping. I took him for his check up today and the Dr. says that they look good and the scabs should be falling off soon(which I guess is the most painful part) and that he will be a new kid in no time. He has been so spoiled getting to eat and drink what ever he's wanted and alot of mommy time and attention I hope this won't be hard to break and get back on track when he is doing better.

:What to DO?:

So, Taige has watched Kyson do the potty thing now for awhile and is interested in it. The other day we were outside cleaning out the gargage and were all dirty, Kyson came running to Nate, "Daddy i need to PEEE" so Nate's reaction was, "Hurry go outback and go potty", Kyson loved the idea, went around back, pulled down his pants and went. Taige decided she to wanted to pee outside so sure enough I go waling outback to check on the kids and there she is, pants down and her tuggin at her diaper. I tried to explain that it's not lady like for girls to go potty outside and took her into the potty, sat her down and told her to go. She did and felt so big. Then, she wanted to wear Ky's big boy underwear and the mean mom I was told her, "NO". I guess I was being lazy since we were outside working I didn't want to worry about her wetting or even worse pooping her pants. So a couple of days later I bought her, her very own Big girl Panties.

She went for 2 days without any accidents, and then day 3 decided it wasn't fun anymore, so she went potty in her panties. I tried to put her on the potty to try it again and she didn't want nothing to do with it. It was kinda like she was afraid of it. So I guess my BIG question is? Do I give up and wait or keep trying? I was extremeley lucky with Kyson he practically did it all by himself before he was 2. And Taige will be 2 in 3 months.

PLease ALL POTTY TRAINERS out there I would LOVE to hear your ADVICE and your SECRETS!

{Another Day on the Lake}

We went to Hyrum Dam with Nate's family yesterday and spent the entire day in the water. Troy and Jodi brought there boat and we brought the wake board and kneeboards, Taige and I kneeboarded again and Ashley our niece was determined to do all by herself and sure enough after about the 5th or 6th time with Nate's help she accomplished it and didn't want to get off of it. We had alot of fun and the kids of course LOVED IT. I love having the opportunity to take my kids out boating so their not afraid of the water, my dad had my salom skiing when I was 7 so, of course I love being in the water and I love having the same chance with my kids.

Also, over the weekend we went back up to Bear Lake. Jamie had a bright idea to rent bikes and go for a ride.

I would NOT recommend this to ANYONE! It was alot harder then it looks. It's fun to say that we finally did it, but I will be laughing and making fun of people I see doing this from now on, cause I know now what they will be going through. Needless to say the kids had the best seat in the house!
