Playing with this month's SMAK kit from Unity Stamps:

I stamped this gorgeous image of a woman on a doily

(I am in such a doily phase lol)

I then embossed my kraft cardstock

and added some embellishments

This month's kit is filled with amazing scrapbooking/mixed media and card making inspiration

Every month is a fantastic blend of images!

Having Fun with Prima's Bayou Flora layering stamps

I had a great time playing with my new Prima layering stamps

I used the Bayou Flora set

Please don't ask me the name of the flowers

I am lost when it comes to gardening hee hee!

It took me a bit to figure out how best to match colours with each stamp

A tip is that you want to use your lightest ink on your solid flower image stamp

I worked on scratch paper first to match up my colours

and also to figure out how to line up the images

Once I figured it out it became easy

Using my MISTI to stamp the images also helped IMMENSELY!

So glad I bit the bullet and got one!

I made this card with one of the new releases in her honour

I love how this turned out!

I love Ang more than words can say

She is one of the most amazing people I know

Unity Stamps- Just what I needed

Happy 2016!!

I'm kicking off the first post of the year with a cute Unity Stamp

Just what I needed

I'm not sure what drew me more to this image

the teacup or the wine glass

hee hee!

I stamped the image on Xpress it copic paper

and coloured up with my copics

grabbed a tag, added some paper

and voila!

my newest bookmark was born

and to think I almost bought a bookmark the other day

the crafter in my shudders!
