Waaahh.... I found my 2006 resolutions for 2007 in my archives! Let's see how much I have achieved in this one short year.... =P

Self evaluation time.... (greens are the ones achieved, red are the ones unachieved)

ACHIEVED!! Ya damn right I did!!! =DD

Just this year, I have gone Chinese New Year visiting with friends to numerous houses. And gambled with people too! =P I want to play with Demie. I don't want to play with Kher Lee. Lol. That is common sense. Hahahaha!

CNY 2007 in Amanda's house

Come April, there was my birthday. Received many wishes and got myself kiaw for breakfast from Esme. =D *thank you Esme!*

Kher Lee: LIP YI! *pass me the container* What is this??!
Me: Kiaw?
Kher Lee: Why Esme give you kiaw?
Me: My birthday bah! =P
Kher Lee: Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Muahahaha! Got Youth ER tickets from Adel *thank you!* and attended Youth ER for the first time. Was fun. Met Kelvin there. Our meeting went like this....

Kelvin: Hi!
Me: Hi... *thinks who's that* Err... *thinks some more* Who are you...?
Kelvin: *peng* KELVIN!!
Me: 0_o! OOHHHH!!!!

Dui... so stupid. Hahahaha!

A few days later was Yet Soong and Yet Mian's birthday party! Had a bbq party at their house. Bbq ain't easy~!! Lol.

The Yets' BBQ Birthday party 2007

After April, there was KAYD in June.

And then, there was Prefects' Night some where in July, I think. The night was held in Sarawak Club and I dined in Sarawak Club for the first time. =D I love Unit Kebersihan and once participated in a rubbish picking competition. =P

Prefects' Night 2007

And after Prefects' Night, there was Koperasi Night some where in September. It was held in Sarawak Club too! I remember I got high over orange juice. Sarawak Club has the tastiest orange juice I tell you! I don't like orange juice also I like Sarawak Club's orange juice! Hahaha!

And so cun that night, there was also the Eurasian Night held in another room. Someone ran in and shouted ''Teacher! Teacher! Got Elvis Presley outside!!''. Sure enough, there were four men dressed as Elvis outside. LoL! That was unexpected highlight of the night I suppose. =D

All the pembantu Koperasi Night 2007

After Koperasi Night, it was already September.... one month before the great PMR. Nothing else took place that month coz had to study.

And then, PMR was here! I remember all those last minute studying... the discussions held in canteen... and the time I felt like breaking down during BM Paper 2 coz the weather was so humid and stupid Bahagian B was making me lose my mind. I really felt like giving up on the paper and just sat there and sulked. =.='' Had to remind myself it's PMR and took a lot of energy to force my brain to work.

After BM Paper 2, the rest of the papers were ok. Science was crazy but it turned out well. =)

And on the 7th October 2007, PMR officially ended for me! I sudah merdeka! Terus went out to celebrate my new found independence after that with my ohara. =D (Merdeka!)

Independence from PMR celebration in Italiano's

Not long after PMR was over, it was already the Raya holidays. This year, I went visiting with Deb and broke the record of most house visited during Raya. =D

Fell in love with Deb's driving and had tonnes of fun that day. I wonder if Deb will be back for Raya next year.... hmmm.... =(

Raya in Diyana's house 2007

When school reopens after the short holidays, I had to attend my post PMR programmes.

Post PMR programs are simply the BEST, I tell you!!!!

Many people skipped those days and stayed home but I went to school everyday and had tonnes of fun! Well... the programs arranged by school is of course boring la! But then... don't skip school! Skip the programs! =D

During those times, I had learnt how to operate a polystyrene cutter, been to Kaya Toast for breakfast, been to airport at 8.00 a.m with the form 5s, been to Junction for lunch with Deb, Esme, Marilyn and Michelle and the three of us were eventually late for band practice (oopps!). Deb called Demie halfway through lunch to inform her we were gonna be late... and then sped down the road after lunch. Haha!

Me: *reads bumper sticker of car in front* Caution! Baby on board!
Deb: Who cares! I have babies on board!
Me: *reads another one* Caution! Twins on board!
Deb: I have triplets on board!

LoL! We weren't so late la... ran out of the car once we reached school. =P

Besides those, I had also won RM 25 with Erica, autographed a pinafore, played a sape (karen taught me! =D) and had done many many other things which if they were listed... this post will never end. =P

Us making love

The only fun post PMR programs organised by the school are the trips.

This year, we visited Sedaya. Was supposed to visit Swinburne but got malapeteka. Hahahaha! No la.. the Swinburnians were having their exams so if we were to visit... then Swinburne will ditimpa malapeteka la... LoL!

Anyways, I built my very first Helix DNA model with Amanda, Andrea, Marilyn and Erica. Won a prize for it too! Am so proud of our work. =D

Winners: Marilyn, Drea, Amanda, me and Erica with our proud DNA model =D

Besides Sedaya, there was supposed to be a trip to UNIMAS. But then... the teachers didn't inform UNIMAS earlier so on the day we were supposed to go, other people were there already. =( Hence, we tak jadi go UNIMAS.

But... we did visit Lions' Nursing Home! I interacted with random elderlies for the first time! I'm not exactly skillful in socialising with random elderlies but that was a good opportunity. Didn't do so bad. Hahaz. I got hugged by an ang moh too... 0_o.

LNH Trip 2007: Elaine, Maryann and me with Mr. John

And after the trips, the school also asked the PRS to organise a Sukaneka for us.

The Sukaneka was alright la. Despite all the shortcomings, my class still managed to grab a prize. =D Not bad liaw lor... =p

Sukaneka 2007

And of course, there was the school's Prize Giving Day.

Prize Giving Day this year was really eventful, thanks to Deb. She came halfway while we were waiting for our turns outside during the dances and made everything seemed so funny. Even talking to the teacher was funny. LoL!

Teacher: What are you doing here? Should give nice example!
Deb: Err... I'm here to take photos! *lifts camera*
Us: *supressing laughters*

And when the teacher left, we laughed out loud. Hahaha!

Kher Lee won 2 major prizes and had a really nice moment when the band all stood up and clapped and cheered like crazy for her. =)

Prize Giving Day 2007 - A happified me! =D

And just like that, school came to a fast end.

But it wasn't long before I reunited with my ohara again during the holidays for the highlight of my post PMR programs - the Holiday Inn LIFE session. =D

During those two days, I'd ridden a sampan for the first time (damn, it's exhilarating! =P), jumped into a pool and almost killed my phone and also... talking about how hot Chris Crocker is with Drea and Kim... =.=''

The Holiday Inn LIFE participants 2007 *imagines Drea in picture*

Then after that, I went to China with my family and touched snow for the first time! I touched snow~!!! *high*

And when I got back, we went out to celebrate Francoise's Birthday on her birthday. And for the first time again, I went to shop for a T-back. Lol! Was planning to get her a T-back with Andrea but couldn't find a suitable one so we ended up giving her something else. Haha. But next year... ehehhehe.... =P

T-back shopping 2007!

And soon after that, it was already Christmas! Gosh... How time flies!!

Went to Deb's house for Christmas this year. Followed Amanda's car and had a very interesting journey to Deb's house. LoL!

We had fun messing up her bed. Hahahahahaha!

Christmas at Deb's house 2007

And then.... 2 days later... was results!

The few hours before results was extremely terrifying. Was worried over my own results and was worried over others' results too... didn't want the ohara to separate. But luckily... on the actual day, we all got good resutls! Thank God!

We terus flew to celebrate after that! =D

The ohara is not separated! Yay!

And after that celebration, we had to go back to school to help out with Koperasi and that's where I had my 12 hours outing. =D

Had so much fun not hanging around the triangle and basically, moving from a spot to another. We made sure we stayed far, far away from the triangle. Haha! Went to Hock Lee for the first time with friends. =)

Chilling in Taman Sahabat's toilet

And the last event we did for this year together.... was a New Year's Eve's Eve party at Kim's house.

I arrived at the house, opened the door and saw Hubble (Kim's dog) running towards me and closed the door. =.='' Rather stand outside. Hahaha! But had to brave myself to get in also... so when I got in, Hubble was getting to close to me, I stood on the nearest chair and screamed for help. =.=''

But in the end, I wasn't scared of him anymore! Yay! I like him so much now arr! He's so cute!! I miss him... =(... I wanna kidnap him. =P The first dog I am not afraid of! Yah! *proud of self*

Kim: (to me when I was scared) Lip Yi, I can't help you if you are like this! I can't control him if you are scared!

O_o'' The words that made me terpaksa overcome my fear of dogs.

Celebrating 2008's eve's eve at Kim's

And well... that's basically all the highlights of 2007. All the good stuffs that had taken place. But of course... there were some setbacks la. There was a period of time somewhere mid year when I was all depressed, emo and stressed out, no thanks to the kerja khususes! =P Got so stressed my hands actually had rashes... which disappeared immediately after I handed my projects.. what la! =.=''

Well... 2007 hast been great. Really. There were a lot of changes that took place along the way and it took me quite awhile to deal with that but I'm glad it all worked out in the end. And come to think of it, towards the end... there were so many outings and so many fun happenings that I had never expected for them to take place. And I'm really glad to be a part of those outings. =)

So every year is a roller coaster ride. Up and down and up and down. But this year, it definitely ended with an up. Haha!

And next year... it's going to be another ride too. I can predict many changes, many complications... but no matter what, I'll just make the best out of it! =D

Bye bye 2007 and welcome 2008!!!

3a1 2007 is the best!

It's exactly 11.50 p.m now - 10 minutes to 2008... Hehe.. couldn't countdown coz it's raining outside... and MSN is sotted... =((

Nvm lah.... =p Cannot be sad for new year! haha!

2008! RainFest! RainFest!! =P

Thanks for the memories

I was just going through my many many burned discs of last year's photos and found some rather interesting pictures....

Last year, I was in Form 2.....

The best year I've had so far. The whole year was packed with activities. I never run out of laughters and adventures last year. Oh and the class was also chia-ed Sugarbun thrice. Hehehe....

2a1 class of '06 rocks!

Among my fond memories of Form 2 was the frequent morning sectionals.

Funny happenings never fail to happen during those times......

We'd hung out in the music room after sectionals (even though we're not allowed) and played and made noise.... I remember once we played the ''acting'' game where two people (dae and audi) would stand and be the ''actors'' while the rest who sit would voice what they need to act... like this...

Someone: Divorced!
*dae and audi berpaling muka at each other*
Someone: Titanic!
*dae goes ''you jump, i jump!'' to audi*
Someone: Give birth!
*audi screams while dae freaks out*

Very hilarious lar that game, esp the giving birth act. I really laughed like mad when they acted that out. I laughed til my sides ached but still I couldn't stop myself. Fuyoh... the power of hyper band members' self-created game.

Morning sectionals are the best

Last year was also the first (and most probably the last) time I qualified for the MSSM. I honestly don't know how I managed to qualify with my sad running skills but I did.

Well... we lost lah. (Abuden) Haha.

We couldn't even qualify for the finals because our recorded time was 1.46 minutes in the first round of pre-elimination while even the last team's recorded time in the second round was 1.45 mins. *I still remember! Amazing...*

Guess who's the person on the far right with a lollipop in her mouth =P

I wasn't disappointed lah. I really believe that even the experience of being able to stand in the track as a qualified participant is rather amazing d..... for someone who has never won a medal in any sprinting event.... (I told you I don't know how I managed to qualify liaw...)

Anyways, since I'd lost d, I decided I might as well make the best out of the rest of the time I have to spend at the stadium. So I did some exploring with Michelle and Natalie.

Smelling stinking shoe....

Maybe it was because I knew I'd lose and would have plenty of time to angau over things, I brought along my camera.

But I was glad I did coz I took my favourite picture there.....

I love this picture the most.

We can fly~~!!

Heh. Rather cool eh the pic? Or maybe Kim would comment lame.... =_=|

But enough about MSSM. There are many more memorable moments of 2006 I have yet to explore.

I like the canteen. Many funny happenings last year took place there too. For instance, we'd all gather a lot of people and squeeze in one bench and play body-o-war. We'd push and push against each other and go hysterical. Aaah... such blissful moments...

Anyhoo, here's a picture of Kim which I found in the midst of my database. Kim, in case you actually go Lodge next year, here's a picture in your honour. Lol!

Btw, I should mention that it's a candid picture. I know it doesn't look candid but it's Kim.... photogenic genes run through her system. =D

Kimmycub... she doesn't look like a cub...

Last year, somewhere near the beginning, we had a not-so-nicely designed backboard. As you can see in the below picture, it's checkered blue and orange....

So in an effort to change the backboard into something more creative, we brought cameras to school to take candid pictures for the backboard. I honestly like the backboard too. Haha. It enabled us to bring cameras to school, take gago pictures during class and skip some lesson just to finish it

Thank you, backboard, for contributing much to the highlights of my Form 2 year.

Note the sesated kolomee.... hehe

I have a lot more candid pictures but they all got lost when my brother reformatted the computer without saving my pictures. It broke my heart.

My hard work - *poof* gone. My memories - *poof* gone.

But at least, there are still some left in the discs. Miserable amount compared to all those I had taken but what the heck....

I was so dark....

What I got from MSSM: the privilege to skip class, the fun civic centre trainings, the chance to lose weight, some money and really really bad sun tan.

I look weird without specs.... O_o

Looking back, I can't help but notice how much things have changed from Form 2 to Form 3. Especially people's hairstyles. Look at Amanda's and Marilyn's Form 2 hairstyle!

*marvels*

2006 ''in'' hairstyle

But then of course a lot of other things had changed la. For some, I'm really glad the change had taken place but for the rest of the some, I really wish things could remain the same. I had wished and I still wish.

But my wish remains a wish.

Sounds like a tongue twister pulak.... swwt.

Hey~! It's my table last year! *grins*

If Form 2 is not a honeymoon year, I don't know what other year is. Things are gonna get tougher next year. And the year after that and the year after that. There PMR in Form 3 and by Form 4 (I'm determined to make Form 4 another honeymoon year =P), it's time for me to get involve with anything I can get involve in for the sake of high school memories.

But there are differences between Form 2 honeymoon and Form 4 honeymoon.....

This is what Form 2 honeymoon looks like.....

To Michelle (if you ever see this): You can kill me. =P

And Form 4 honeymoon is just busier. Way busier.

And yes, I do miss Form 2. With all its action packed activities and stuff, it's hard not to miss it. But Form 3 has been so much more significant to me.

All along these years, changes had taken place - for better or for worse. It just so happens that I take this year's changes more to heart than last year's. Or maybe it's just because this year is still present...

Whatever it is, one thing is for sure - I hold no regrets for the activities I had chosen to get involve with. =))

But nevermind all that, I shall enjoy the rest of 2007 to the fullest so that by 2008, I am all set and ready for war. Come what may!! *Waarrghhh!*

2008 will be a b-l-a-s-t! woo hoo!

**Btw, next year, I wanna go RainFest!! Who wanna teman me?? The more ppl, the higher chance of my parents' approval. =D**

***Things I must achieve before I die: Go RainFest before I finish high school***
