I am now back in Kuching. My house is undergoing renovation and my computer has been infected with an annoying virus so... pictures shall be unavailable at the moment. My apologies. *mourn*
Anyway, the four days that I'd spent in Sibu were bittersweet. Our prayers didn't work. I can still remember quite vividly what had happened during
That morning, we'd woken up super early to get ready. Kim and Francoise were up even earlier - they were already sitting on our beds before anyone of us could get off it (and they were staying 2 floors away!). Amanda too, surprisingly managed to get up without us having to yell at her that particular morning. So we quickly used the bathroom and rushed down for our breakfast. Most of the Miri people were already fully or partially dressed in their uniforms while all of us were err... still clad in shorts and t-shirts (that we had slept in =.=''). But teacher didn't allow us, especially me (accident-prone +_+''), to eat in our uniform.
So anyway, after we had eaten, we quickly got back up to our room to get dressed and to have our hair done. Once again, our foreheads were ready to blow you away~! =P I had actually left my hair just the way it was until teacher suddenly caught glimpse of my undone hair and said, "So obvious la! Everyone tie, you don't tie!". So... minutes before we were supposed to leave, I was seated in the lobby with teacher tying and spraying my hair. I had about 11 clips in my hair that day. o_o''
And then we were off to the competition site. We did some warming ups on the way there - some breathing and a complete and final rehearsal of the script. Then, we made a fool of ourselves when we'd reached Sacred Heart because we got locked outside. Lol! And we thought we wanted to save time by entering through the side gate, mana tahu they cun cun changed the padlock that morning and had difficulty letting us in. =.=''
But we managed anyway. =D PTL. We prayed before we entered the hall and then, the final moment began. We were the third team to perform, after Chung Hua Miri and Wira Penrissen. Miss Susie said 3 in Hebrew means Perfect. =) So we weren't discouraged.
When the first team went up to perform, I had started feeling nervous. I was, at first, paying attention to their script but then I stopped because I was so afraid that their script would penetrate my thoughts and mess up my performance later. Chung Hua Miri wasn't bad. They were "cute". When the second team was up, I got even more nervous. My palms had started sweating. I had to reread my lines in my head again just to make sure that everything was still ok. Pretty soon, we were up.
As we lined ourselves up, I could feel my heart beating hard. I hardly ever get nervous when I perform with a group of people and the times that I do - I normally don't perform very well. So as I walked, I had to tell myself to calm down and did some last minute prayer before we went up.
It was a great performance. We were synchronised in a way that I can never imagine. Our actions were so sharp and we all had smiled our best. We looked like angels in the video with the light shining at our baju kurungs. It was marvellous and brilliant. I knew that that was one of our good practice moments. But I guess... it just wasn't good enough - we'd lost.
When the announcement of the winners was going on, I could feel it - the anticipation. When the third place winner was announced and it wasn't us, I heaved a short sigh of relief before feeling all stiff again. Then, I felt this familiar feeling. I don't know why I'd felt it but I did - the feeling that we would get second. The feeling that despite knowing we'd done so well, we'd still get second... because things happen... But I tried to shake that feeling off. I was hoping hard that it would happen otherwise... because there were 35 of us! 35 prayers! 35 hopes! 35 people putting in their utmost efforts just for this competition. Surely that had to account for something! But noo... it just had to happen...
"Second place goes to... Bahagian.... Kuching!''
We froze. Our hearts fell in unison. Our hopes crushed. Our spirits shattered. I didn't know how to take it in. That was it - the end of our journey. Some broke into tears. I went numb. I could only muster up a sad smile. It was a painful loss. And then, some stupid idiot monkey aka baboon from the Miri team stood up, pointed at us and laughed in our faces. Gosh... dude, that sort of attitude will get you killed one day.
But we'd tried. We'd tried hard. We'd tried our best. We'd gone through so much and we'd made it that far. It's a shame that our journey had to end here. This loss is far more painful than all my other losses. It is the one loss that I had to choke back sadness whenever I think about it. Those intensive practices.... some of them were really not so pleasant. Having my name called and then having to keep smiling and pray and hope like mad that I wouldn't screw up another time... those were stressful moments. My body would stiffen and my eyes would be fixed at Angeline while my body felt like toppling over....
And so the sadness and disappointment.... ahhh.... we were only 1.5 marks away.... so close and yet... ahhhh..... sakit...... *mourn*

The Power of A Call
I took a test in tickle.com the other day to find out what drives me the most.
Your Key Motivator, the thing that really drives you to success in life, is Connection.
You, more than others, look for ways to belong to a group, to have fun, to care for others, and occasionally, to be the center of attention. You thrive when you see the opportunity to interact with friends, colleagues, and family, and you tend to want to soak up everything you can about people and relationships. Perhaps it's because you recognize that learning about interpersonal dynamics will, in turn, make you a better person — more caring, more empathetic and more honest with yourself.
Oohh... it sounds rather accurate. Hahaha!
Anyways, today is my school's Parents' Day and is about the best day I've had in this week. Today, I've helped Koperasi to sell 100 files to random parents. I never knew one morning of randomly greeting people with, "Buy a file to keep your reports?" would bring about so much joy. =P
I'd gone to school this morning with not the slightest idea of how I would help Koperasi. I actually thought we'd be selling at the actual place! But nooo... Mauldia and I were to carry 2 tables and set up our "stall" by the notice board between the Junior Lab 1 and the hall. So strategic ar that place - laluan perdagangan antara parents going up the hall, parents going to science labs, parents going to classroom block and parents coming and going from the alley to St. Jude. The Interactors were also selling drinks that morning in front of the Music Room.
As we were just getting started, I had sat alone at my miserable spot while watching those Interactors (a big bunch of them!) laughing about while getting ready. =.='' So kolien lar! Business started slow as we were a bit blur on how to promote the files. Some more, Mauldia and I had to become the kolien mangsa of an angry parent. +_+''
Us: Buy a file to keep the report?
Parent: !@#$% Kompulsori ka?
Us: *blur* Ah?
Parent: COMPULSURY KAH!? COMPULSORY!!
Us: Err.. tak...
Parent: *stomps off*
O_o''' Don't wanna buy, just say lar. Aiyo...
Things started getting better after awhile though! Pretty soon, we were already flashing money to the Interactors just to kek them. =P=P
Interactors: Eh! *flashes 10 ringgit notes* =D=D
Us: *flashes a 50 ringgit note* HA! =P
Andrea: Eh! What is that? 1 ringgit ha? I cannot see!
LOL!
But I did manage to meet a lot of people that morning. I'd met my primary school teacher (who still remembers me - surprisingly) and also Julia, who will be off to Taylors soon. Then there were also some random people who have really made my day.
Like this parent to whom I'd asked to buy a file. She turned out to be a teacher in St Thomas and had remembered me from mooting. She congratulated me and said we did really well on that day. My heart had grown so big with gratitude. =)
Then, there was also this lady who kept saying that making a school file is such a good idea but when Amanda asked, "So do you want to buy?", she answered no and stood behind our miserable "stall" (consists of 2 tables nia) for some long minutes until her niece(?) came down from the hall. She then asked her niece if she wanted to buy and ended up leaving with 2 of the files. Haha. Not bad.
And there was also this funny parent...
Me: Buy a file to keep your daughter's report?
Parent: *calls to daughter but daughter walks away* Aiya, never mind. She doesn't seem to care, but I care! I'll buy one.
Me: Ok! =D *slips in the report for her and gives her the file* Thank you! Have a good morning!
Parent: I don't think I'll have a very good morning!
LOL!!!!
But I think the best one has to be Kher Ching's mother la. =P
Amanda: Who's the best customer? Kher Ching's mother?
Me: Ah? Ah, ya! Haha!
Earlier that morning,
Us: Kher Ching! Buy file!
Kher Ching: My mother don't want to buy!
Amanda: Later I ask your mother buy!
Kher Ching: Ask lor!
Amanda: *sees her mother in front* Lipyi! Call her!
Me: Oh! *shouts* AUNTTYYY~~!!
Her mother: *turns around*
Me: Buy a file? *beams* =D
Her mother: Ok la! Just because you call me, I'll buy! Actually up there got people asked me to buy already but I didn't want to. But just because you call me! Your persuasiveness is strong! You see ah, the power of a call!
Amanda and I couldn't stop grinning with victory - we berjaya made her buy! Ahahahaha!
Today is a nice break from all those intensive choral speaking practices held this week. Competition is next week and practices within the week had got rather stressful, even for me. So if you are kind, do pray for us. =) We'll be indebted to you. Haha.

Existence
We discussed about the issue of cloning in class today. Teacher asked if we think cloning is right. I think it's wrong, but Erica and Amanda thought otherwise.
Teacher: Why do you think cloning is right?
Me: Can increase world population?
People: O_o'' So many people already la!
Amanda: Can increase world's population of smart people!
Peng~! Imagine a class full of Amanda Voons.....
.......
I think can die leh.
Adeline: One is already too many la!
Teacher: Then, we'll have underwear thrown everywhere!
And then teacher asked what if five of ''us'' is cloned... Adeline said she will kill the other four of her (despite just having told Maxine that it's against Christianity to kill. Lol!). But I think I might do the same. I mean, aiyo... I don't think I can tahan another person like me lar! EXACTLY like me some more! +__+''
Only Maxine had seemed so excited at the idea of having five Maxines. She said she would form a band and call it "The Maxines". Peng~! And then Andrea wanted to rule the world with her clones... And then Maxine said Andrea can clone a Nick Jonas for herself. And Amanda said she would ask her clones be her "kuli" (workers). And then I reminded her that her clones will think exactly like her and therefore, will rather lari dari rumah than to be her "kuli". And then teacher moved on to another topic about cloning body parts.
She said our body might still reject the cloned body parts of our own despite having been cloned with our own DNA because of our body's defense system. So I said lar, even though our brain may not be very smart, at least our body is smart! And then, the two inconsiderate people sitting next to me said my body is not smart at all. I peng-ed on the table and she said my head so heavy. I ignored them and stared at my hands, she said my fingers couldn't move.
And so! In retaliation, I said, if I had never existed, their life would never have been how it is now. Then they got so twisted, they changed the whole thing and directed it to me. Said if they had never existed, I wouldn't have joined band. My life would be so dull. My add maths wouldn't be so good (it still isn't good so I don't think this is usable). And... I can't remember anymore.
In short, haiz.... soi. This is mental abuse. Bullying.
But, despite all that crap, it's humourous. Lol!
I dismantled St3Mac yesterday and I suddenly felt so nostalgia for the practices. =(
Maxine said I like to gloat and will crack if I don't get my daily dose of gallus-gallus.

Very tired mah
It is now already mid June. Omg. More than half a year of 2008 has passed!
Just a few months back in January, I was just entering Form 4, all blur and excited to grab whatever opportunities there are to make this year a memorable year. True enough, I've had many memorable days and experiences up until now. A bit too many that I have difficulty in remembering all of them. ;) But that's a good sign. Well... bad la... if that actually indicates that I'm forgetful.
Anyway... for the past 4 hours, I have been trying out photoshop. I think photoshop is a bit like add maths. It's complicated but once we get a little hang of it, it becomes fun. But just when we thought we have got at least the basics right, we are once again faced with crappy situations where our limited knowledge is just blah. Blah. I don't like photoshop! =(
Today has been a rather long day too. I collapsed on the bed before I could even drag my feet to the bathroom when I reached home.
Amanda asked, "Why your Sibu trip only got part 1?''
Very tired mah. +___+''''

St3Mac!
It's been a long, long week. Sooo many things had happened since I last updated!
I think la. Haha!
Robotics competition is now over. St3Mac managed to win third. =D St3Mat won fourth. Results were surprising because.... on the last minute, after we were no longer allowed to touch our robots, we realised we got our gardens mixed up. =.=''
Amanda: At first we practised wrong, you know! We thought grass is in the middle.
Me: Correct leh.
Amanda: Nooo! TREE is in the middle ar!
Me: Oh... DIE! *runs to check*
Kantoi-ness. Lol. But luckily our robot was so kuai, it didn't miss track (on the first round la). On the second round though, our robot's program went a bit haywire so we missed track a few times. Next time, if there is ever another chance, I want to build the die not big, die not long wan robot liaw. ;)
Our robot was so kopi-o, having been built in one miserable morning. It stood looking so innocent among the pool of vicious, professional looking robots. It looked even dumber still after we'd attached the two sticks (Andrea calls it the "auto-pilot". Haha!) which stuck out of nowhere. But those sticks were life-savers, much thanks to the St. Jo's team. =D
While waiting for competition to start...
Me: *playing Fowl Words*
Maxine: Eh, lipyi! You see! You only play this low power game, other people play the high power one ar! *points*
Me: *sees some guy playing some racing game* Peng~!
I think we are a bit nerd then. Haha! While people were playing racing games and O2Jam, I was playing a game that requires me to build up words. =.='' And Amanda was playing Minesweeper, of all things!
And so, while the competition day itself is fun, I miss the practices more. For every competition it seems, I'm always nostalgia for the practices once it's over. The first time our robot succeeded in completing all its routes perfectly, Maxine, Andrea and I were so high, we sang our theme song - That's Just The Way We Roll - while strumming on the "stick of wisdom". Then there were the jokes about Oxford people and Malaysian people.... And of course, there were the times where we fought so hard for the "stick of wisdom" (the plastic stick used to roll up the mat) =.='''.
And now, all that's over. =( So life resumed back to normal. I attended my very first Bio lesson in months yesterday. I feel so left out after missing one whole chapter.... =.='''
During Chemistry...
Kim: Hey, let's camwhore on the plane to Sibu!
Francoise: We have 8 hours to camwhore on the bus, ok!
Kim: .... Plane got airport!
Francoise: Bus got...
Us: BUS STATION!! Hahahahhaha!
I think la. Haha!

The silver lining
School is now where I spend most of my days and Andrea and I have discovered that Maxine's house is like paradise. ;p
This holidays has been fun and exciting. The Web Team is now back, having risen from the dead. Abigail, Ummi, Maxine, Marilyn, Amanda, Andrea and I were the first people to attend the very first Web Team meeting in 2008. =D Our task is now to build the school's website so we had to search and screen through pictures to get the best ones to be put online. But....
Amanda: I want got me one!
Marilyn: Eee... no me one! Cannot!
Lipyi: Wei...! Where am I!?
Andrea: This one got us!
Teacher: *speechless* Glamourous people....!
Ahahaha....!! That also happened because most of our pictures are taken from Andrea, who is always so equipped with her trusty cam-phone to snap pictures of whatever events that take place (the rest of us "just so happen" to be there).
Anyway, our first meeting was a bit wild. Well... I was high, I think, because I was telling them about this....

Amanda got 78%. It means I am 28% LESS dumb than her. Wahahahaha! I at first thought the higher the percentage, the smarter you are.... but I just realised that it's the other way around! Lol! And there I was, during the meeting, complaining about how I'd answered the questions so wisely but am still called dumb.
Maxine: Only dumb people can answer dumb questions correctly mah!
Peng!
But we did continue with our meeting after that.
Miss Susie: So we do the sound system... *pause* yerr... sound system!
But after our meeting, it was time for our robotics practice. Competition is next Tuesday and we'd only started practising the Tuesday this week. =.='' Hence all the afternoons we'd stayed back for practices in the hall. My team's robot was always so bong cha cha though, so it was really quite frustrating (for me la). And so, we had to "mentally breakdown" for awhile just to gain our spirits back. We'd sing and talk crap and sit there idle, fiddling with the compartments because the programming is just too blah.
Maxine: *serious, in a deep voice* Tonight, we shall go to hell....
Lipyi: .......
Andrea: .... Ok. What time?
Lipyi: *stares at Andrea*
Andrea: What? I need to plan my schedule mah!
Andrea: *whispers to me something about Maxine*
Maxine: (who is standing just 2cm away from Andrea) What?
Lipyi: Lol! Why are you whispering? You're standing right next to her!
Andrea: I know! Hahahaha!
(Maxine still didn't catch what she said)
And there are also the times where we'd start placing blames on each other (for fun la). ;p
Maxine: Out of line!
Lipyi: Operator's fault!
Andrea: Noooo! Programmer's fault la!
Lipyi: No! Operator! You operate again!
*Andrea operates again*
Lipyi: I think it's the programmer's fault la! Haha! Maxine!
Andrea: Builder the best one - no need kena blame!
Lipyi: =D
Maxine: Yalor! When is it builder's fault?
*In another try, the flower got jammed somewhere*
Andrea and Maxine: HA! STRUCTURAL PROBLEM! BUILDER'S FAULT LIAW~! =D=D
=.=''' Lol! But of course, no matter what, we still had to keep trying.
Andrea: Eh, let's go eat!
Maxine: Wait, wait, wait! Wait until I can perfect this first....
Lipyi: Might never happen. Haha!
Maxine: Wait! Andrea, go run!
*Andrea went to run the robot.... robot miss-tracked*
Maxine: *carries back robot*
Andrea: Let's go eat!
Maxine: Wait I fix this first.
Andrea: Then you'll ask me go run, then when miss track, you'll come back and fix...
Maxine: Ok! Andrea, go run!
*Andrea went to run the robot, robot still a bit funny, Maxine carried back robot to her laptop*
Andrea: See I was right!
Lipyi: So when can we eat?
Maxine: Next Tuesday. Hahahaha!
She gave up in the end so we went to eat ABC and laksa at Summerhouse.
Lipyi: Let's go back!
Maxine: *still playing my handphone game*
Lipyi: Don't play liaw! Finish your drink!
Maxine: Okok! *sucks the straw but hands still playing*
Andrea: Let's go! *gets up*
Lipyi: Ok! *gets up* Bye, Max~
Maxine: Okok! I'm drinking!
...............................
Andrea: COCKROACH!
Maxine: AHHHHHH! *flinches... but sees nothing*
Andrea and I: HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
That was necessary to take her eyes off the screen! =P
Anyway, today, Andrea and I went to Maxine's house. Her brother says everyone thinks he's cute. Lol!
Maxine: Andrea! Rate how cute is he, from 1 to 10!
Andrea: 10. =P
Maxwell: =D
Andrea: Lol! How cute is Maxine?
Maxine: Err... 1!
Us: Hahahahahaha! So sad!
Maxwell: Actually, 1.5 la.
Andrea: 1.5 ar Maxine. Lol!
Maxine: How cute is she leh? (Andrea)
Maxwell: Errm... 9!
Andrea: Haha!
Maxine: Fine! What about her?! (points to me)
Maxwell: Errm.. 8!
Wahahahahahahahaa! All higher than Maxine! Lol! Lol! Lol! She got promoted to a 5 in the end. Hahahahahaha!

Sibu Day 1 - The Curse of Tai Ti
As promised, here's a not so short account of my very first Sibu trip - diperseronokan lagi dengan kehadiran kawan-kawanku sekalian. =D
We'd met at the Biaramas bus station at 8.30 a.m. on the 25 May 2008.
Teacher asked, "Which club T-shirt is that?". Lol!
We got onto the bus soon enough for an 8 hours road trip to Sibu. There was a toilet in the bus, to our relief, but the toilet, we soon found out, was nothing more than a dark cubicle with no light and no sink. It scared us so none of us visited it... except for maybe some who were already too desperate.
Andrea: (on the last day, during breakfast) I don't want to use the bus toilet... Tahan hunger better than tahan "sai".
Well said. Hahaha! Anyway, the journey there was a rather boring one. It involved a lot of sleeping and listening to music and a bit of camwhoring and playing games. I made a high score in Spin Fun! =D=D
Oh but wait... our games got a little extreme in the middle. +_+''
Thanks to the card that I brought, we got to engage in some poker games. We'd played some boring blackjack and a lot of Tai Ti. That was when the game got a teeny weeny out of hands - not much thanks to the Wasabi peas brought by Andrea!
The rule: Say you are the loser and you have 3 cards left when all others have finished, you are to eat *insert number* of wasabi peas per card.
The number had started out with a harmless one to an extreme three - iPENG. Ah yalar! Terima kasih kepada itulah, pada sesuatu ketika, saya yang teramat kasihan ini terpaksa menelan.... T_T....

DUA BELAS BIJI KACANG WASABI!
*dies*
I ate til I cried. T_T I will never ever like wasabi or wasabi peas anymore! Hmpf!
My eating those wasabi peas had caused such a commotion that the penolong driver, sitting just one seat ahead of us, covered his ears like we were a nuisance (I think we were. Haha!).
So we moved on to a less extreme version and before we knew it, we were betting - not on money, but on Koperasi food.
Round one
Prize: Pudding
Winner(s): Amanda and Andrea
Round two
Prize: Nasi lemak
Winner: Amanda
Round three
Prize: Sushi
Winner: Andrea
Life is so unfair! T___T I see my money growing wings. Marilyn and I teramat kesian sekali. I think that day was not my day lar! Eeeee.... I want rematch (don't want Amanda in liaw... her words berbisa).
There were stops along the way. We'd stopped at some kampung... which is not so ulu considering it sells bird's nest there.... and we'd also stopped at Sarikei (at least I think it's Sarikei la.)
And finally, we reached Sibu and our hotel. Joy~! Mr. Teo and Mdm. Euphrasia (who went by plane) were there to greet us. Mr Teo suggested that we went for a swim.
Mr Teo: Go swim. I swam already.
Someone: No swimsuit....
Mr Teo: I also didn't have... go Parkson buy!
And so, after throwing our bags into our room, we went over to San Yan to shop for swimming suits for the Voons. Andrea and I were smart enough to bring ours. =D After trying several pairs, the Voons finally got their swim wear.... then we went swimming!
Swimming was a bit uneventful but I managed to bruise myself. =.='' We didn't swim very long because not long after that was time for dinner. We met up with everybody at the lobby and went on a random walk around Sibu....
Mr. Teo: I walked until there *points* this morning.
Me: Teacher... the suasana in the morning and the suasana at night different, you know...
Mr. Teo: Ah yalor... if we get lost, no need to eat anymore.
waPeng....
We ended up at somewhere like Petanak. Food wasn't so bad la. I was in the same table with Amanda, Marilyn, Andrea, Yet Soong and Yet Mian. For the first time in all our lives, we ordered our own food (that is not fast food type la, you know...). =P
Us: Bidin with... err... white white thing...
-______________________-''''''''
I'm so proud of us! We didn't even know what the "white, white thing" is, yet we managed to order! XD In the end, we ordered 2 veggies, 1 soup and 1 sweet and sour fish (I think). The fish was the first thing to arrive. But we were all taken aback when the fish that arrived was a whole fish and not the chopped off ones. Nonetheless, from hunger, I started digging a small piece....
And then... another plate of chopped sweet and sour fish came....
Us: Eh?
The woman: Eh? I think this one send wrong... the other table one...
Me: Ha?!
Woman: Ah... who curi makan already ha...?
Amanda: You see, Lip Yi! I tell you don't eat first!
Me: T_T
And then everyone stared at me so I had no choice but to bring the plate over and apologise...
Them (the form 3s table): Ah! Pay!
+_+'' Really not my day, man.... Even the random woman sitting on a table next to us was staring with amusement. Aiz.... my reputation...
But the bill at the end of the day really shocked the living daylights out of us - it was only RM 4.90 per person! Dang... I would move to Sibu if its Milo Peng isn't so "pok" (thin).
Moving on, after dinner, we went back to San Yan again. Our initial interest was to buy some canned drinks back but in the midst of all the window shopping (we went in nearly every shop there), we forgot all about it. The shops there closed really early too - 9.45 p.m. =.='' So we retired back to our rooms soon enough and continued our hyperness there.
Amanda was most hyper. I think she got bitten by a rabies infected squirrel on the way back - she started biting pillows.
No.... biting pillow isn't good for your health, Amanda! You should know that!
Haha. Ok la... here's the real story...
Me: *holds ONE wasabi pea* Eat!
Amanda: NO!
Me: *tries to put it in the her mouth*
Amanda: *grabs a pillow and bites it*
Me: *tries to separate her from the pillow* OI! ONE nia!!
Amanda: *laughing while trying to not to let go of her bite* NO!
Me: *struggles harder* Guys, help me!
Andrea: *holds Amanda's pillow* Grab the hands!
Me: *grabs and finally was able to take away the pillow*
Amanda: *quickly grabs ANOTHER pillow and bite it*
Us: =.='''''''
Me: Eeeeee.... THE PILLOW GOT YOUR SALIVA!
Amanda: Good la. I use two tonight!
Me: I'm supposed to use two! Never mind... I throw away the cover...
Amanda: I bit the up there also..
Me: Eeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! You very weird la!!!! Simply bite pillow!
We call her the RIP - Rabies-Infected Person. ;p
Me: I don't want to talk to Amanda anymore until tomorrow!
Amanda: Ok! Andrea, can you tell that person *bla bla bla*
Me: Marilyn! Can you tell that *bla bla bla*
Andrea & Marilyn: We are peaceful countries! You know when the rulers fight, it's the citizen that suffers?
A few minutes later....
Me: Eh, where is the remote?
Amanda: Eh? I thought someone don't want to talk to me?
Me: Eh! Marilyn, can you please tell that RIP that I was not looking at her when I ask?
=P Something worst happened after that actually - we messed up all the pillows so anyone of us could have slept with Amanda's saliva. +________+'' I feel chills. Lol!
Eventually we got bored of the entire thing la.... so we had to find something else to entertain ourselves... at that time, it was 11.38 p.m.
Amanda: (after stumbling across the room service menu) Eh, want to order food or not?
Us: So late already! Still got meh?
Amanda: Got! It says here finish 11.45!
Us: *excited* What time is it now!?
Andrea: 11.39!
Us: *fusses over the menu*
At 11.41 p.m....
Me: Hello, can you please connect me to room service?
Reception: Room service is over already.
Me: Oh... so we cannot order anymore food?
Reception: No, the last order's at 11.30.
Me: Oh... But it says on the paper 11.45...
Reception: So sorry, but the last order's at 11.30.
Me: Ow... *heart-broken* Thanks anyway.
We were 11 minutes too late. =( But it was alright, we decided we would definitely try again before we leave. Soon, we found ourselves engaging in yet another game of Tai Ti - but with no wasabi peas because my stomach couldn't tolerate it anymore. So the loser of this game would have to ring Amy's doorbell! Hahaha~
Luckily, I got my luck back. =P Andrea lost and had to do the act. I can't remember how many times she tried but it was quite a few times! We didn't get any reaction for awhile ma... but when suddenly we heard a door opening, we all ran like gila back to our room and laughed - quietly, of course. Then we peeked through the hole... but saw nothing... so I went out to see see.. and saw a Malay lady came out. +_+'' PENG!
So our trick didn't work after all. But still undeterred, we wanted to make a call to their room to see if they were still awake (at 12 something a.m.). And then we realised we didn't know how to make room to room call (no manual given.. ish...) so we had to call down again... I was malu already so Andrea spoke... and that was when we were told that we got complained.
Andrea:(straight faced) We got complained... he said we were too noisy... *pause* so.. you guys can... "slow down"...
Us: O_O Err... (starts laughing)
Amanda: So we can still be loud but we speak slowly?
Ahahaha... though we were tempted to keep playing, we still wanted to keep our reputation. So we settled on watching some so-called horror movie which had a boring beginning. The beginning wasn't interesting so Amanda and I fell asleep while Andrea and Marilyn watched on.... until when the show suddenly got too scary for them, they offed it and went to bed as well.
Hence ends our Day 1 in Sibu. ;)
