Highlights of 2007

Waaahh.... I found my 2006 resolutions for 2007 in my archives! Let's see how much I have achieved in this one short year.... =P

1. Finish Pokemon Ruby before school reopens
=__= Of all things la, Me 2006! I achieved this btw! Wootz! First resolution a success! =D

2. Straight As PMR

Achieved! I got my very first medals this year! =D Well, it was only in relay events la and the other runners helped a lot. Hahax.

4. Improve shopping skills
Achieved! Managed to buy some shirts and a dress with much fuss. Haha. Not so much a shopaholic yet.. but... making my way there. =)

6. Improve tuba playing
Not so sure about this..... Haven't seen my darlings in awhile. But I suppose I did improve since I can play F without kek-ing....

7. Be more sincere

8. Save some money
I think I spent a lot this year with the numerous post PMR outings and nights that I attended... oh wells... youth only lasts so long... hahahahaha! So must enjoy it to the fullest! =P

9. Earn some money
Achieved! Got some pocket money from Koperasi duty! =D And also won RM 25 (received RM 13) dalam bentuk Koperasi coupons for winning the Sudoku / Scrabblegram competition with Erica. =)

Just this year, I have gone Chinese New Year visiting with friends to numerous houses. And gambled with people too! =P I want to play with Demie. I don't want to play with Kher Lee. Lol. That is common sense. Hahahaha!

Come April, there was my birthday. Received many wishes and got myself kiaw for breakfast from Esme. =D *thank you Esme!*

Muahahaha! Got Youth ER tickets from Adel *thank you!* and attended Youth ER for the first time. Was fun. Met Kelvin there. Our meeting went like this....

Me: Hi... *thinks who's that* Err... *thinks some more* Who are you...?
Kelvin: *peng* KELVIN!!
Me: 0_o! OOHHHH!!!!

Dui... so stupid. Hahahaha!

A few days later was Yet Soong and Yet Mian's birthday party! Had a bbq party at their house. Bbq ain't easy~!! Lol.

After April, there was KAYD in June.

And then, there was Prefects' Night some where in July, I think. The night was held in Sarawak Club and I dined in Sarawak Club for the first time. =D I love Unit Kebersihan and once participated in a rubbish picking competition. =P

And after Prefects' Night, there was Koperasi Night some where in September. It was held in Sarawak Club too! I remember I got high over orange juice. Sarawak Club has the tastiest orange juice I tell you! I don't like orange juice also I like Sarawak Club's orange juice! Hahaha!

And so cun that night, there was also the Eurasian Night held in another room. Someone ran in and shouted ''Teacher! Teacher! Got Elvis Presley outside!!''. Sure enough, there were four men dressed as Elvis outside. LoL! That was unexpected highlight of the night I suppose. =D

After Koperasi Night, it was already September.... one month before the great PMR. Nothing else took place that month coz had to study.

And then, PMR was here! I remember all those last minute studying... the discussions held in canteen... and the time I felt like breaking down during BM Paper 2 coz the weather was so humid and stupid Bahagian B was making me lose my mind. I really felt like giving up on the paper and just sat there and sulked. =.='' Had to remind myself it's PMR and took a lot of energy to force my brain to work.

After BM Paper 2, the rest of the papers were ok. Science was crazy but it turned out well. =)

And on the 7th October 2007, PMR officially ended for me! I sudah merdeka! Terus went out to celebrate my new found independence after that with my ohara. =D (Merdeka!)

Not long after PMR was over, it was already the Raya holidays. This year, I went visiting with Deb and broke the record of most house visited during Raya. =D

Fell in love with Deb's driving and had tonnes of fun that day. I wonder if Deb will be back for Raya next year.... hmmm.... =(

When school reopens after the short holidays, I had to attend my post PMR programmes.

Post PMR programs are simply the BEST, I tell you!!!!

Many people skipped those days and stayed home but I went to school everyday and had tonnes of fun! Well... the programs arranged by school is of course boring la! But then... don't skip school! Skip the programs! =D

During those times, I had learnt how to operate a polystyrene cutter, been to Kaya Toast for breakfast, been to airport at 8.00 a.m with the form 5s, been to Junction for lunch with Deb, Esme, Marilyn and Michelle and the three of us were eventually late for band practice (oopps!). Deb called Demie halfway through lunch to inform her we were gonna be late... and then sped down the road after lunch. Haha!

Deb: I have triplets on board!

LoL! We weren't so late la... ran out of the car once we reached school. =P

Besides those, I had also won RM 25 with Erica, autographed a pinafore, played a sape (karen taught me! =D) and had done many many other things which if they were listed... this post will never end. =P

The only fun post PMR programs organised by the school are the trips.

This year, we visited Sedaya. Was supposed to visit Swinburne but got malapeteka. Hahahaha! No la.. the Swinburnians were having their exams so if we were to visit... then Swinburne will ditimpa malapeteka la... LoL!

Anyways, I built my very first Helix DNA model with Amanda, Andrea, Marilyn and Erica. Won a prize for it too! Am so proud of our work. =D

Besides Sedaya, there was supposed to be a trip to UNIMAS. But then... the teachers didn't inform UNIMAS earlier so on the day we were supposed to go, other people were there already. =( Hence, we tak jadi go UNIMAS.

But... we did visit Lions' Nursing Home! I interacted with random elderlies for the first time! I'm not exactly skillful in socialising with random elderlies but that was a good opportunity. Didn't do so bad. Hahaz. I got hugged by an ang moh too... 0_o.

And after the trips, the school also asked the PRS to organise a Sukaneka for us.

The Sukaneka was alright la. Despite all the shortcomings, my class still managed to grab a prize. =D Not bad liaw lor... =p

And of course, there was the school's Prize Giving Day.

Prize Giving Day this year was really eventful, thanks to Deb. She came halfway while we were waiting for our turns outside during the dances and made everything seemed so funny. Even talking to the teacher was funny. LoL!

And when the teacher left, we laughed out loud. Hahaha!

And just like that, school came to a fast end.

But it wasn't long before I reunited with my ohara again during the holidays for the highlight of my post PMR programs - the Holiday Inn LIFE session. =D

During those two days, I'd ridden a sampan for the first time (damn, it's exhilarating! =P), jumped into a pool and almost killed my phone and also... talking about how hot Chris Crocker is with Drea and Kim... =.=''

Then after that, I went to China with my family and touched snow for the first time! I touched snow~!!! *high*

And when I got back, we went out to celebrate Francoise's Birthday on her birthday. And for the first time again, I went to shop for a T-back. Lol! Was planning to get her a T-back with Andrea but couldn't find a suitable one so we ended up giving her something else. Haha. But next year... ehehhehe.... =P

And soon after that, it was already Christmas! Gosh... How time flies!!

Went to Deb's house for Christmas this year. Followed Amanda's car and had a very interesting journey to Deb's house. LoL!

And then.... 2 days later... was results!

The few hours before results was extremely terrifying. Was worried over my own results and was worried over others' results too... didn't want the ohara to separate. But luckily... on the actual day, we all got good resutls! Thank God!

And after that celebration, we had to go back to school to help out with Koperasi and that's where I had my 12 hours outing. =D

Had so much fun not hanging around the triangle and basically, moving from a spot to another. We made sure we stayed far, far away from the triangle. Haha! Went to Hock Lee for the first time with friends. =)

And the last event we did for this year together.... was a New Year's Eve's Eve party at Kim's house.

I arrived at the house, opened the door and saw Hubble (Kim's dog) running towards me and closed the door. =.='' Rather stand outside. Hahaha! But had to brave myself to get in also... so when I got in, Hubble was getting to close to me, I stood on the nearest chair and screamed for help. =.=''

But in the end, I wasn't scared of him anymore! Yay! I like him so much now arr! He's so cute!! I miss him... =(... I wanna kidnap him. =P The first dog I am not afraid of! Yah! *proud of self*

O_o'' The words that made me terpaksa overcome my fear of dogs.

And well... that's basically all the highlights of 2007. All the good stuffs that had taken place. But of course... there were some setbacks la. There was a period of time somewhere mid year when I was all depressed, emo and stressed out, no thanks to the kerja khususes! =P Got so stressed my hands actually had rashes... which disappeared immediately after I handed my projects.. what la! =.=''

Well... 2007 hast been great. Really. There were a lot of changes that took place along the way and it took me quite awhile to deal with that but I'm glad it all worked out in the end. And come to think of it, towards the end... there were so many outings and so many fun happenings that I had never expected for them to take place. And I'm really glad to be a part of those outings. =)

So every year is a roller coaster ride. Up and down and up and down. But this year, it definitely ended with an up. Haha!

And next year... it's going to be another ride too. I can predict many changes, many complications... but no matter what, I'll just make the best out of it! =D

It's exactly 11.50 p.m now - 10 minutes to 2008... Hehe.. couldn't countdown coz it's raining outside... and MSN is sotted... =((

A 12 hours outing

I had to go school yesterday, five days before school reopens, to help pack the exercise books into plastic bags to be sold for the new year~! New year is in 2 days! And school reopens in like... 4 days... after about 3 months of roaming around school and fooling about, it feels kinda weird to say we'll be back in school to study. Aiz... time pass fast when we're having fun.

Anyways, I reached school at about 9.15 and saw that the job was almost half done. 0_o'' So fast they do! It didn't take so long until the whole thing is done so we helped clean up and then called up Maxine to wish her Happy Birthday. *Happy Birthday, Maxine!*

We were supposed to be celebrating her birthday by going out that day... but then, we got sick of visiting the triangle after that 27's celebration so... the plan was cancelled. Haha. Then we went to survey our future class. We saw the seating arrangements and wanted to go in to survey where we wanna sit when school reopens.... but too bad, the doors were locked. =.=''

We did try breaking in though! We tried to put our hands through the windows but our hands were too short. Then we looked around for paper clips and stuff... when Deb suddenly appeared. She too took out a card and helped us break in..... lol. Tetapi usaha beliau juga tidak membuahkan hasil. Tried banging the door... can be fixed next year bah.. haha! But tak berjaya also la. Then... a pak cik suddenly walk past.

Us: Pak cik! Boleh pinjam kunci buka pintu?
Pak cik: Tak boleh! Pergi tanya PMJ sana!

O_O'' We terus scurried back to Koperasi after that. Hahahaha! Since our plans to survey seats tak berjaya, we just talked over it lor....

Wah.. so attentive!! In class are we like that also?? =P

We went back to Koperasi to talk about our seatings next year while waiting for the juices to arrive. Deb says kali pertama see people discussing these stuff so seriously..... sampai suggest wanna go school at 5 a.m. Lol.

But we couldn't reach any conclusions la. Whatever happens, happens lor on that day. So we proceeded to talk about what we're gonna do after that.

No more attentive liaw. Vaining more important. Haha!

I wanted to watch Alvin and The Chipmunks! But everyone seemed to have watched it already... =(. Then I found out Andrea, Marilyn and Amanda haven't watch. Wahahahaha! So I tarik-ed them to watch with me! Muahahahaha! =P Tarik-ed Deb too coz she promised to bring me to Taipei 101 before she leaves. Got ourselves a driver. =D

When the juices arrived, we each took a bottle (our gaji separuh pagi) and left to the carpark. Saw the books I was gonna fight with Drea over. Lol. But they were too heavy for me to steal... hahaha! So it left with Mdm Tan's car..... *waves bye bye to books...* =(

Oh! And Drea drove! Hahahahaha! Almost died. =.='' LoL!!

Got out of the car feeling dizzy after that even though the car only reverse for like... an inch. Haha! Had no faith in Drea's driving... YET! =P Went to St Jo to wait with Yet Soong for her car and then, went back to school again for Deb's car.

And then, off to Taipei we go!!!! =D

Reached Taipei 101 for lunch and sat at this... funny looking Chinese / Japanese table. So nice ar the table! Next time, in my house, I wanna build a table like that! So cool! =P

Amanda: I don't like pork boh!
Me: Waht?!
Deb: You can be a qualified Malay lah you...!
I think Amanda ended up ordering something like fried squid instead. =p

Food is nice. The pork is nice!! *ahem*Amanda*ahem* We talked, we laughed and we ate. The place started to get crowded during lunch. When we got there, we were the only customers. Buahaha!

We decided to make a move. But couldn't decide where to go next. Was going to watch Alvin and Chipmunks but Deb was broke... So we decided to go Hock Lee arcade instead. After all, we have a driver who's willing to take us anywhere~!! Haha! =D

It didn't look so fun so Deb and Amanda went to play air hockey instead. So in the end, only me, Andrea and Marilyn went to play with those bumpy cars.

Well it wasn't so bad la! In fact it was so stupid and funny, we were actually enjoying ourselves!! Bet we looked really funny then coz we couldn't stop laughing! We are like so big and we didn't have any kids with us and yet we were in those hello kittys bumper cars! And that Marilyn kept on putting on the childish songs some more!! Hahahahaha!

Our 2 tokens (RM 2) didn't last us very long in that car. After about 5 minutes or so, our car stopped in the middle of nowhere. Lol... So we had to get out and find some other games instead. Deb and Amanda had yet to finish their air hockey... so we went to look for other games lor.

And then... we found this weird drums game! Didn't know how to play at first so Marilyn and I just kept banging those drums non-stop. We beat the drums like crazy! Then Deb appeared after her game and told us the proper way of playing. Aduh... so wasting our energy just now bang like crazy! Hahaha!

After their game, Deb and Amanda appeared and paired with us. Deb to help Marilyn and Amanda to help me. War!! =P

Me and Amanda won ah!! Muahahaha! Despite all those name callings in between we still win! Hahaha! But then... their accuracy was better la. Lol! But still, we won! =P

And then Marilyn got sick of the game and left to find other games. But Amanda was still so excited over that game. So I battled with her. And I won! Nyehehehe! Amanda then tidak puas hati and found out that the drum on her side was spoiled! Hahahaha! So that clears the wonder of how Marilyn and Deb can lose even though they were more accurate... =P

Went to look for the rest after our battle and found them with this machine playing something like O2jam.

When we reached there, it was Deb and Drea against Marilyn alone so Amanda and I went to help Marilyn. =P I controlled the paddle while those two controlled the keys. And in the end, we won! Again! Hahaha! And after that....

After Hock Lee, Drea and I wanted to go some where which sells cheap water gun for our water gun war the next day. So Deb brought us to Kenyalang.

To celebrate our safe arrival, Amanda bought ice cream.

Then we went water gun shopping. Saw a party spray along the way. I thought of buying it for the water gun fight... but it was too expensive. And it wasn't worth it coz it finishes very fast.

So I tried it out there and then.... on Andrea's foot. =P

It finally snowed in Kuching!

Went to Sin Kui Seng after that - the shop that has everything. The gloves there so cheap arr!! RM 3.20 only! In supermarkets, they're RM 3.90! Save 70 cents! =P

Anyways, the water gum were all sold out. But Drea saw a cooler gun instead... the kind which hurts when you got hit... But she couldn't make up her mind whether to buy it or not.. Contemplated with the choices then left empty handed.... Then after that, ''eh... buy or not ah??''. Hahaha! =.='' Hati tidak tenteram sepanjang hari... Lol...

Went to some more shops after that in search of water gums but all were so expensive.... Got tired from all that water gum searching so we just settled down some where.... and took pictures... like tekangs..

Got thirsty after that and everyone had a sudden craving for ais kacang. So off we went to Song Kheng Hai for ice kacang~!!

Reached there and everyone flew to the toilet. -.-'' Had too much ais kacang I think. Haha. Taman Sahabat toilet very nice leh! We actually settled down at the side there to chill and talk!

Since I tak biasa pray in Chinese so I just sat there and stared at my candle, watching the fire flicker. And also watching Amanda being very accident prone. =P

When church ends, my parents were already there so I tak sempat eat. Hahaha. And that was the end of my day. Was out for more than 12 hours! Reached school at 9.15 a.m and went home at 10.00 p.m. =)
