13. Then click the Continue to registration.
14. If the message Your new domain has been successfully registered then the address or domain has been officially becomes yours.
Creating a Hosting Account
Having successfully created a domain name, the next step is to determine the location hosting. Hosting is the location where the files you upload will be saved. In this example we are going to use a free hosting site that is provided by 000webhost.com.
To create a hosting account, follow these steps as follow:
1. Open your web browser and enter the address http://www.000webhost.com.
2. Click the Sign Up button so that the registration form will appear.
3. In columns www. fill in your domain name that you created earlier (example, myweb.co.cc). Next fill in your name and email address, then enter the number that appears in the picture. Tick the checkbox I agree to Terms of Service and proceed and after that click Create my Account.
4. And then click Activate Account to activate your account and after that it will appear information that tell you Account (your domain name) will be activated by the administrator in 24 hours. Please come back later.
5. Wait until 1x24 hour as stated in the information.
6. After 24 hours, go back and do the log in your 000webhost.com (Member Area).
7. After you login, on the first page (or on List of your domains), click Activate Account to activate your account.
8. After that click Confirm my Email.
9. Read the messages displayed, then open the email you used to register at 000webhost.com.
10. Discover message sent by 000webhost.com and click the confirmation link in the message.
11. After that click Back Account List.
12. If the column Status already marked Active, then your account can be used.
Linking Domain Names with Hosting Place
After creating a domain name and the hosting, the next step is to configure them so that they can connect.
To configure your domain name and site hosting, follow these steps:
1. Go back to http://co.cc address.
2. Go log in by clicking Sign in Here.
3. In the login box, enter your email and password on each column, and fill in the verification word.
4. Click Sign In.
5. Once entered into the Home, click the Domains Settings.
6. Once you are in the Domain Settings page, on the Service Type column, click Set Up.
7. And then, Click Please the domain setup now, so you will get several choices for your domain settings.
8. Click on the first option, namely Name Server and it will appear several column that we have to fill, which are Name Server 1 and Name Server 2. In each column we have to enter nameserver from 000webhost so that domain name and site hosting can be interlinked.
9. Fill "ns01.webhost.com" (without quotation marks) into Name Server 1 and Name Server 2 with "ns02.webhost.com".
10. Click the Setup button and will appear the information Your change has been submitted, to indicate the name servers have been replaced.
11. After linking a domain name with the hosting, wait a few minutes until all the settings to work. To view your account is working or not, open the browser and then type the domain address like that you created before.
12. After activating and linking your domain and hosting, you can setting your display or interface of your website from your webhosting (http://www.000webhost.com). These settings are the same like you customizing a blog.
13. After you login to your webhosting, go to Cpanel, in here you can setting all things that are related to development of your website.
14. To setting your website interface you can just go to Website Builder. After you click the icon, you just have to follow several steps to complete your basic design of your website such as choose the template etc.
