Fun with Pink Paislee
Good morning everyone! Wendy here, and I hope you are enjoying your weekend. The weather took a turn for the worst lately. Last month we had 80 degree temps, and today we have rain, lots of wind and temps in the 40's.
I really can't wait until the weather decides to stay warm for a while. I'm starting to get cabin fever again!
While I'm waiting for warmer weather, I'm also counting down the days until our next vacation. We are so happy to be able to go back to Disney. It's been a few years and I really miss it. So to get into the mood, I pulled out some pictures that I never finished from our last trip.
I absolutely love the newest collection called Prairie Hill from Pink Paislee! The colors are a bit muted, but the combinations are awesome! VERY versatile. It's so rare for me to avoid the typical Disney themed papers and colors, but this couldn't be passéd up.
I did a little bit of fussy cutting on the patterns. And I used a coluzzle template to make the larger flower.
Check out the rest of the paper collection in the store here.
Have a great day!!!

30 Day Photo Challenge
I am seeing more and more of the 30 Day Photo Challenges popping up these days. Have you ever tried one? I am thinking I just might.....not only will I learn more of the fancy features of my camera, but I will also find myself with 30 more pictures to scrap at the end of the month! I also expect these will not be run of the mill photos either. I mean really, when is the last time you took a picture of "Where You Sleep (No.11)" or a "Letterbox (No. 4)"?
I found this list over HERE
It is from January 2012 but I see no reason that I can't use this same list -- I know, I'm crazy like that! :)
Want to try it with me?

In a Birthday Mix!
It has been one of those days. Victor and I are installing laminate wood flooring in our house - we did fairly well considering we had only you tube videos for instruction. We started on Thursday - Amory came home from school sick that day and Priscilla had been sick for a few days. So the hubs and I are now certified nurses/carpenters! Because our furniture had to be cleared out I had to climb over a sofa, across my sewing table, and I am now perched gingerly on the corner of our coffee table with the leaning tower of Amory's art desk and supplies behind me.
To top it all all off, after the crawl blogger told me it wasn't responding. Really? After all of that you will respond!
So now here I am with what I hope is an inspiring blog post!
(Keep in mind my brain and body are like buttered toast currently)
I want to share a little about mixing old with new. For this first layout I combined some older My Mind's Eye with new Echo Park Happy Days. The colors went so well together and the chevron shape is so trendy!
60 or Something
From the store I used -
With scraps from the above layout I created cards for my father in law and his brother. I added older October Afternoon to this and used more 12x12 Happy Days elements Stickers. I typed up my sentiment on the computer and cut it out. A quick and simple card that packed a big funny punch!
This is the second card which I added older Fancy Pants to. I used the jukebox from the 12x12 Happy Days elements Stickers.
See what you can add from the My Scraps and More store to the items in your stash to create some wonderfulness!
Thank you for stopping by,
Kristin

On Sale!!!!
Do you know what my favorite section of a scrapbooking store is? The clearance section! It's a great way to pick up those lines that you weren't sure about when they first came out or to add a few sheets of a line you may have bought and want a bit more of. Here is just one of the many lines in the clearance section right now, Basic Grey Sweet Threads.
I added a few flowers and a butterfly and it was the perfect collection for these photos of my daughter and our trip to the Dallas Arboretum. When your in the store, make sure to pop in and see the great sales. Don't forget you still have plenty of time to use that 20% code as well.
Thanks for stopping by

Be You.
Good morning and welcome to the My Scraps & More Blog! We are so happy you joined us!
Lisa here today, to share a layout about my dear daughter, Sierra with you:
I used the Be You Collection from Fancy Pants for this layout.
When I first set eyes on this line, I knew it was a must have collection for me! The colors and embellies are totally me!
I loved the quote on one of the Be You cards that I used it for the journaling on my page. It reads: "Like the sky opens after a rainy day we must open to ourselves.... learn to love yourself for who you are and open so the world can see you shine." James Poland
Thanks for sharing your day with us!

Wendy's DT Reveal
Good Morning all! It's my turn to share a few projects using the FUN collection "On The Go" by Bo Bunny. Tammi was very generous and sent out lots of fun papers to use. These colors are too fun! My little guy just loved all the cars and trucks!
Here are a few pages I made:
AND....just for fun, I also made a mini album!
Every year, we make a trip to the park for the Touch a Truck Day Party. We take tons of pictures on trucks, cars, motorcycles and more. This is a great way to keep them all together and my little one can carry them all to Grandma's house to share.
Check out all the fun papers and pieces in the store!
Have a great Sunday!!

Bo Bunny On the Go
On the Go is how I live my life so when I received these Bo Bunny papers for my first DT assignment, I knew I could easily put them to use! I love the bright palette of these papers! The orange and blue just screamed summer to me. If you are familiar with this line, you know that the 'A' side is more cutesy with a transportation motif. Very cute stuff indeed but way out of my comfort zone for scrapping. So, I used primarily the 'B' side of the papers which is much more versatile.
Here are two of the pages I made using this line. I have a few more as well loaded in the gallery.
Be sure to go check out this line in the store...it really is a must for those spring break and upcoming summer/beach photos!

Give Me Mora of That Alora!
Good Friday Morning! I am so excited to bring you more Bo Bunny Alora projects! Have you seen all of the projects the Design Team has done over the past week? Its amazing how two Bo Bunny lines - "On The Go" and "Alora" can be used!
I was given the Alora line and I will admit I was a bit intimidated! I usually do not work with large florals and bright colors but once I got them I had a blast creating fun pages about my fun daughter Amory!
The two pieces I was most excited about were the Alora Wish and the Alora Tiny Type Cardstock Sticker. Why, you ask? Because the title is my absolute favorite part of a layout! With those two pieces I saw an endless amount of possibilities!
For this first layout I combined a strip from the Wish paper - I used only the words and cut away the cute birdies. (Amory took them from me and decorated a card for her teacher) I combined the strip with the Tiny Type Alphas to create the title and journaling all in one!
The title/journaling reads
All You Need is Love of Ice Cream, Your Friends and a Cherry on Top!
The cherry sticker from the Girly Girl Cardstock Sticker was the perfect accent for this page!
For this next layout I cut apart two strips from the Wish paper and along with the Tiny Type Alphas created another layout with the title and journaling all in one.
The title/journaling reads
All You Need Is Shaving Cream To Make a Big Mess of Fun!

On this next layout I created splashes by fussy cutting the swirls from the Alora Giggles. The Girly Girl Cardstock Sticker circle frame was perfect to highlight the picture of Amory floating in the pool!
Say hello to the
Beach Babe!
And last but not least was a gift for Amory's little friend Aubrey. Aubrey, like Amory, is an artist. I altered a paint can and made a matching card with the Alora papers.
The card front was fussy cut from the Alora Cut Outs paper and the letters spelling "wish" were also fussy cut from the Alora Wish paper. I used the Alora Tiny Type Cardstock Sticker to write out "Make A" and the card was complete!
This is the paint can stuffed to the brim with paint, glue, modeling clay and glittery fun projects. An art apron I made was placed on top to protect Aubrey from said paint, glitter, glue, and clay! I circled the paint can with the Alora Burst that I cut in half. The two six inch pieces were placed around the bottom half and the Alora Stitches cut in two three inch pieces circled the top. I used the Alora Combo Stickers layered on cardstock to decorate the front of the paint can, a piece of ric rac hid the seam and tulle around the handle created the perfect girly finish.
Thank you for stopping by and seeing all that I created with my Bo Bunny Alora papers!

Tracy's Reveal
Hello all!! Tracy here and can I just say I'm in love. Well I'm in love with a lot of people but I'm truly in love with the papers I got to work with for my design team reveal, Bo Bunny Alora. The pictures you see online do not do it justice. The colors are so vibrant and such amzing patterns. With all that said here are my creations.
For this LO I wanted to show while there is a lot of flowery papers with this collection it really works well for a boy page too.
And lastly a birthday card I made.
I actually did another LO but didn't want to overwhelm you. Did I mention how much I love these papers :)

April Design Team Reveal!
Good morning and happy Wednesday!
Lisa here to share my design team projects for April.
Tammi sent us the gorgeous Alora papers by BoBunny! The colors of this line are amazing and I love the mix of birds and flowers, so pretty!
For my first layout, I fell in love with the Alora Squiggles paper and decided to use it as my background. I added a small size photo to the frame and then fussy cut some flowers and popped them on with foam tape to give some depth to the layout. I added Stickles for a little bling:
For my second layout I used Lucy Chesna's April 1st sketch. I used a variety of the Alora papers and again, fussy cut some flowers, made a few banners and added some stitching:
For my card, I used my card sketch from the April 6th Scrap {Card} challenge on the message board and I fussy cut the birdhouse and flower, used a variety of the Alora papers, added some ink and an old rub-on I had:

BoBunny On The Go
Good morning all - it's Tammy B and it's reveal day! You have already seen some great projects from Missy and Ginni and now I get to share what I've been doing! I had a great time playing with this paper - the bright colors were right up my alley. In addition to the paper I also got the combo stickers, the noteworthy tags and the party time stickers. Here are a couple of the projects I did and I will be making many more! At first glance I saw that it would be great for little boy LOs but after playing with it I realized that the colors and a lot of the papers were very versatile. I also made a couple of cute birthday cards and I still have lots to work with!

Missy's Design Team Reveal
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Today I'm here to share with you some fabulous projects created by one of our new design team members Missy. She got a chance to work with the fabulous new Bo Bunny Alora papers. The colors of this line are amazing and she really did an amazing job with them. Here are her creations.
Our blog hop is still going on, so if you haven't had a chance to hop along stop by here to get started.
October Afternoon in April
Good Morning! Wendy again, with a little bit of inspiration for you!
Speaking of inspiration, have you hopped along the Birthday Blog Hop? LOTS of fun inspiration from the Design Team! And prizes along the way! Check out all the details here!
At home, we are getting ready to sit down and make all of "bucket lists" for our Summer adventures. One of our favorites is horseback riding. I love that the kids are all so kind and gentle with the horses and there is no fear, which makes the ride very enjoyable and less stressful. I really thought my daughter would be scared, but she had a blast. Do you have any idea how hard it is to ride a horse with one hand?? But I HAD to get those trail shots!
In the store, one of the newest arrivals is Sasparilla by October Afternoon. So many fun things! All of the papers are so fun! And then there are the bits and pieces! My favorites are all the chipboard stickers. I'm so glad I have so many more pictures to work with.
Stop by the store and check out all the different papers! There are so many cute designs! As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to order more. :)
Have a great Sunday! Don't forget to check out the Birthday Blog Hop and stayed tuned for the Design Team reveal!
