Hello Kitty Baby Shower

Back in December I threw my sister (the one in the pink) a Hello Kitty themed baby shower. Sorry to be posting the photo's so late but you know how things go.

Anyhow, my sister wasn't too much into the Kello Kitty thing but I figured since she didn't have a theme and Hello Kitty is so girly and cute, why not! Thank God she loved how everything turned out.

Here is the invitation, favors and centerpiece.
This is the gift I made her. Got this cute basket from Ross and stuffed it full of goodies.
Instead of the traditional cake, I wanted to do something prettier and easier to serve. So I made this cupcake tower. My daughter baked all the cupcakes and they were delish! I think this came out really cute!
Here is her cake table along with all of the prizes we had for baby shower games. Of course I had to make a custom Hello Kitty box for each one! To make the table more pretty of course! LOL!
Here is my beautiful niece Mekayla. She was born on January 8th. Isn't she just adorable!

Thanks for stopping by, have a fab weekend!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub......Baby Pooh in a Tub

A friend of mine asked me to make a Pooh baby boy birthday card.  This cute Pooh image was made using the Cricut Pooh Font Set cart.  The card is for a one year old so I wanted to keep the colors more on the soft side.

Baby Booties

Hi everyone!  Sorry I have been MIA for a while.  I was sick like a dog and didn't get around to doing much of anything.  For those of you that are waiting for more Valentine's Day projects, I will be uploading more photos within the next couple days.  Anyways, while I was sick I had to work on these darling little baby bootie favors for a baby shower I will be going to on Sunday.  My friend is having a baby girl and that gave me a chance to use a lot of my Basic Grey papers.  I just love the soft vintage look these papers gave to the booties.  I filled each bootie with wrapped assorted Hershey Nuggets.
These were fun to make (I made 40 of em') but it was very time consuming, after seeing the end result, I guess it was well worth it! LOL!

Chocolate Diaper Cake

Ok it's not REALLY made of edible chocolate, but I used blue and brown for this cute diaper cake.
I had  a baby shower to attend yesterday and the color theme was blue and brown and to my luck, there were a lot of baby stuff in these colors.  Instead of using just diapers as shown in my previous diaper cakes, I used receiving blankets, onesies and wash cloths too.  This diaper cake also has a bottle and baby powder in the center and is topped with a pair of baby booties.   I don't think she had any sort of animal or character in her theme so I decided to make this a more elegant cake, using satin ribbon and tiny prima flowers.

Another Diaper Cake

Again, sorry not a good picture but I forgot to take a picture of the cake before I wrapped it up.  Anyhow, this is how the diaper cake comes wrapped in cellophane.  Sorry but the details of the design didn't photo well.  This diaper cake had a baby animals theme and the top was a baby lion stuffed animal.  Tucked nicely atop every other diaper were paper flowers.

It's a Boy candy bouquet

Visiting a new mommy at the hospital? Why bring her flowers that look good for a few days and then die? Bring her flowers she can eat! That's right....these flowers have chocolate centers and after all the chocolates are gone the flowers will last forever. Bouquets can come in different colors, with different vases and candy. Call us to customize one for you!

Baby Cards

Other samples of baby cards we have on hand.  Watch for more to come.

Gift Card / Bags for Baby

For those of you who don't know what kind of gift to bring to a baby shower or simply don't have time to shop, here is a cute alternative.  These cards have a little gift bag on the front that is big enough to hold a gift card.  Gift bag has velcro inside so that your gift card won't fall out.   It's kinda hard to see but in the last picture you'll see that the card is wrapped in an acetate gift box since it won't fit in a regular envelope.  All of our gift card bags comes wrapped in these acatate boxes and ribbon.  We also have these gift card bags for other occasions.

Diaper Cakes

Sorry this isn't a great photo.  Anyhow, for those of you who know a mommy to be, we also do a variety of baby items.  Shown here is one of our diaper cakes.  This cake contains about 75-80 size 1 diapers, a 15 oz. baby powder, a 4 oz. baby botle (both in the center) and is topped with a Pooh teething ring.  Diaper cake comes wrapped in cellophane with a gift card attached.  These also can be made to order, just specify the baby's theme, colors and gender.   For those of you who might want something more extravagant, we could also include baby onesies and receiving blankets instead of just diapers.
