10 Things I Hate About You

One of my favorite movies all the time is 10 Things I Hate About You. I like the story, the star (Julia Stiles) and especially I like the poem that Kat wrote for Pat in the movie. Yeah, my favorite couple in this movie is Kat and Pat .

By the way, Heath Ledger also plays in this movie, I hope you still remember that he was the one who died from an accidental "toxic combination of prescription drugs" after playing the role of Joker for The Dark Night (2008)

Bianca Stratford is dying to go out with Joey Donner, the babe of their High School. In the contrary, Bianca's older sister, Kat Stratford (Stiles), would rather die than go out with a boy. Mr. Stratford has this rule: where Bianca can date when Kat does (!!!).

Bianca begs her sister to have a night of 'teenage normalcy' Little does Bianca know that not only Joey is trying to set her sister up but also Cameron - her cute but also unpopular French tutor that is her sister's new class mate. Joey and Cameron's 'set up guy' Patrick (Ledger) is trying to get Kat to go out with him. But does it work, will Kat go out with him? Will Bianca go out with Joey?

Love Actually

Hmm, actually this film was produced in 2003 and first released on April 17, 2004 at Indonesia, I just watched this yesterday (April 10, 2009). It’s too late, isn’t it? Hehe..

I like the amazing charm of this film. I couldn’t stop smiling while and after I watched this. Moreover, I like the song too, Love is all around, and the background music is really beautiful!

I’ll tell u the brief story about this movie.

Set mostly in England, there are many characters with different love stories who are mutually related. David (Hugh Grant), the new prime minister, falls for his catering manager, Natalie (Martine McCutcheon), since the first sight. David’s sister, Karen (Emma Thompson), has problem with his husband, Harry (Alan Rickman). Harry somewhat has secret affair with his secretary, Mia. Moreover, Karen’s friends, Daniel (Liam Neeson) just lost his wife and discovered that his young stepson (Samuel) is in love with his schoolmate, and Jamie (Colin Firth) was broken-heart because his girl friend left him for his younger brother but then he finds a better woman, a Portuguese (Aurelia), when he stayed at France for finishing his writing.

Furthermore, Harry’s editor, Sarah (Laura Linney), has been dreaming to be with Karl, his colleague, for more than two years. Harry’s another employee, Colin, has decided to go to America, because he was frustrated with England girls. Colin’s pal, Tony, has two film stars who are in love to each other: Just Judy and John a.k.a. Jack. The last story is about Jamie’s friends: Mark (Andrew Lincoln) and Peter. Mark actually has fallen in love with Juliet (Keira Knightley), his best friend’s (Peter) wife, since long time ago, even since Peter and Juliet are not already married, but Mark instead telling the truth he acts unfriendly toward Juliet.

Oh yes, don’t forget that Rowan Atkinson also stars this movie, he plays as Rufus, the seller of a necklace which is bought by Harry. Like his common style, his acting is very weird and witty.

Bella Swan, Han Chae-Young, and I (???)

Recently, I decided to watch my most favorite korean drama again. I already watched it when I was still at senior high school. it is about three or four years ago. I love this drama so much. It is the funniest drama I’ve ever known.

I found the videos of the drama from youtube. So, now, whenever I have a free time, I’ll download the videos. Now, I finished watching until 7th episode. It’s hard for me to be patient, to wait until I finish all... I really fall in love once again with the drama...

The story is about two senior high school students who are forced to get married because of a crime. The boy, Lee Mong-ryong was suspected did the crime, whereas he didn’t. The real criminals did the crime after stealing the boy’s motorcycle, so they did the crime by using the motorcycle. At the night the crime was happened, actually he was at the girl’s house. Accidentally they slept together in the same bed. He was drunk (he didn’t recognized the kind of drink that he drank), and the girl (Sung Chun-hyang) was sick, so they didn’t realize that they slept under the same blanket! So, they had no option except telling the truth that they was sleeping together when the crime was conducted. Then, the fact of ‘sleeping together’ is spread so fast that their family cannot stand any longer. They ask the young couple to get married. Haha...
Hmm, before getting married, in fact the boy already had someone whom he likes, but that older girl, Chae-rin, just considers him as her brother. So, the story becomes sad when Chun Hyang realized that she falls in love with Mong-Ryong, but she can do nothing. . There is an adult, Mr Biun, who always supports her, and then falls in love with her. However, don’t worry, it’s kind of a ‘happy-ending’ story... Hehe.. I love the happy ending!
The drama is played by the beautiful Han Chae-Young as Chun-hyang and Jae-Hee as Lee Mong-ryong.
After thinking for a while, I found some similarities between Sassy Girl and Twilight. How come???? Hehe...
In this case, Mong-ryong is Bella, Chae-rin is Edward, and Chun-hyang is Jacob. When Edward went, Bella is accompanied by Jacob, she started her new life hardly. Yeah, it’s also happened in Sassy Girl, more and less. The difference is this ‘Bella’ decided that Jacob is better than Edward, that Jacob was always there for her and supported her all the time.. Bella fell in love deeply with Jacob, she realized that she didn’t love Edward in the same way anymore.. So, everyone who is in Team Jacob, he or she must watch this drama!
The second similarity is the birthday. Bella and Han Chae-young (the star who plays as Chun Hyang) have the same birthday, September 13! Of course me too! Yeah, I’m not lying, I was born on September 13!! You can checked my identity card! Hehe...

My New Season

I’m a ‘seasonal’ girl . Yep! There is always something that I’m crazy about for a moment. It is especially happened recently. In the first two weeks of December I got ‘The Sims 2’season (actually, I’ve played the game for about one year, but in December I enjoyed it so much ‘cause I got all of the expansion packs of The Sims 2). Then, in the second two weeks of December I enjoyed ‘Heroes’ season. I finished two seasons of Heroes (season 1 & 3) in two weeks (I already watched season 2 on television). Next, in the first two weeks of January, there is a ‘College Final Test’ season. Hmpph... In that moment, I had no time except for reading my college books. It was so boring for me, and until now I don’t know yet how the result of my hard work. The announcement of my new GPA will be held on January 4. I only already knew that my score of TOEFL increases 93 points. Alhamdulillah...
And, my season now is TWILIGHT SAGA ... Hehehe...

Before I continue telling about my new season, I just want to make sure that you know something important about my seasonal character. That is, MANCHESTER UNITED is my only certain season along my life, no matter what happened...
Now, back to the topic. My friend said that I am sick of Bella & Edward story ‘cause I always relate anything to Twilight world. For example, if someone talks about a mountain, I ask if there is a grizzly bear there or not . Another example, if it’s raining in my hometown, I consider my town as Forks.
Hehehe...
I’m really falling in love with Twilight Saga world. I already read all of the books, and my favorite is Twilight surely. The second is Breaking Dawn, the third is New Moon, and the last is Eclipse. I have reasons for my choice. Twilight has many unforgettable experiences of Bella & Edward in their school. Those are so funny and pleasant. I love the way of Stephenie Meyer telling the story of beginning meeting of Bella & Edward (this my sentence is so confusing, isn’t it? Hehehe... I’m so sorry...). Then, Breaking Dawn ends so happily, and there are many great scenes, both pleasant and awful scenes. New Moon is boring when Edward is missing, however finally it ends happily. The Last, I don’t love Eclipse so much ‘cause Bella hurts Edward’s feeling... Hiks...
Btw, you know, my birthday is same with Bella’s... September 13!!!
Here are the most I like from these serials
1. The most favorite scene: actually, there are many favorite scenes, but the most that I can remember is the marriage of Bella & Edward (Breaking Dawn). Another favorite scene is when Bella, Edward, & Renesmee celebrate their winning in the ‘almost war’ against Volturi (Breaking Dawn).
2. The worst scene: Surely, when Edward leaves Bella in the forest after saying goodbye (New Moon)...
3. The funniest scene: when Jacob is irritated by Edward’s supernatural power, when he thinks about the Cullens desire the glass of blood that is drunk by Bella (Breaking Dawn). Hehehe... I hope you understand what I mean.
4. The most awful scene: The Birth of Renesmee (yeah, I was trembling when reading this scene)
5. The most favorite duel: Edward vs Victoria (Eclipse)
6. The most favorite character: So surely, Edward!!! He is the most handsome, he has the best soul, he has the greatest power, and bla-bla-bla.... I like him so much !!!
7. The worst character: Jane!
8. The most favorite vampire (besides Edward): Alice Cullen
9. The most favorite werewolf/shape-shifter: Seth Clearwater
10. The most favorite common person: Charlie Swan
11. The most favorite supernatural power: Bella’s power
12. The most favorite quote:
