Hi everybody!
Yes, I'm back (once more), sorry about that.
Today I'm here cause we have a new collaboration week over at A Blog Named Hero. This time we are mixing Neat & Tangled with Hero Arts.
Danielle, owner and designer of the gorgeous stamps at Neat & Tangled, was part of the DT at ABNH last year.
We miss her tons, cause she is lovely, so I was really looking forward to this collaboration.
The bad news are that the parcel with my N&T stamps got lost in the mail, so I didn't get them on time to play along with the collab. But that is not a problem, cause Danielle, has a couple of free digi stamps on the N&T blog. They are super cute, so you should check them out, and play along with their challenge too!
Here is my card:
Isn't that banner gorgeous? And the font is perfect! I wanted to make my own patterned paper to put behind my flowers, so I modified the digi stamp a little bit, using Photoshop, and used the "love you" to cover the front of a card. I added a gradient, cause I love the "ombre" look, and I like how the pattern disappears.
The flowers are from one of my favorite Hero Arts sets, the "Delicate Blossoms", that I don't get to use enough. I love the dimension that the coloring and the layers gave to the card. Here is a close up:
Now, don't forget to visit the blog to see the amazing cards that the rest of the DT has for you, and leave a comment!!! Danielle is giving some stamps to a lucky winner at the end of the week. So comment all week to have more chances to get some of her awesome stamps!
Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome Little One!
Hi everyone!
If you check twitter, facebook, or some crafty blogs today, you probably know that Jennifer McGuire had her little girl yesterday, yay!
So at A Blog Named Hero, we decided to make some Welcome Baby cards to post when the baby arrived. It took a bit longer than expected, but she is finally here, so here is the card I made for her:
I decided to use one of the digikits from Hero Arts, and to try one of the techniques from the A Cut Above class. I used my Silhouette to cut everything out of this card, and it was sooo easy! I loooove it! I have to do this for more of my images and stamps that I tend to hand cut. It is a time saver!
Anyway, to see the rest of the cards created by the other DT girls, go over to the blog. You don't want to miss them, they are awesome!
Once more, congratulations to Jennifer!

Very easy card, and I got to use my new fall distress ink Gathered Twigs and the digikit is Say it from Hero Arts. Great sentiments on that one!

Inchies card!
Hiya everyone! Today I'm back with and inchies card. I have been wanting to make one of this for a very long time, since I saw this video by Shari for Hero Arts.
The first couple of times I tried this card, they were a disaster, so I didn't try it again for a very long time. But I thought that this card was perfect for this months challenge at HA and gave it another go. Here it is:
The tree is one of the stamps from the HA digikit "Feeling wise". I used the brush image on photoshop to make a PNG file that then I opened in my Silhouette studio. I created my own "inchies grid" to cut with the machine by "print and cut".
Then I colored the inchies using distress inks and an applicator (Broken china, Chipped sapphire and Antique linen). I used a piece of patterned paper from Bo Bunny that I had for ages to make the grass hill. I printed the tree in the PP and then hand cut it to make the hill. I distress the edges of the paper with Antique linen and Vintage photo.
I used Promarkers to color the leaves and then I distress the edges of the individual inchies with Vintage photo. I glued them with dimensionals over white cardstock and then glued the white panel over dark blue cardstock.
I added glossy accents to the leaves and while it dried I used my silhouette to cut a bird design from HA. Colored the bird with distress inks, and glued it over the inchies, using a dimensional for the wings. Added a rhinestone for the birds eye and stamped the sentiment with Chipped Sapphire ink.
Here you can see the great dimension that this card has:
Ok, hope you liked it and give it a try, inchies cards are fun!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Less is more Challenge
Hiya!!
Today I'm sharing with you a card I made for Joy's challenge. I have been following her blog for ages, just wowing at every card she makes. She is an amazingly talented crafter and she decided to do a challenge where we have to honour someone on this crazy crafting world. I decided to use as an inspiration this project by Jennifer McGuire. Jennifer is amazing and her videos had taught me most of the stuff I know about card making. So here is the card I made.
For this card I used the Friendship digi stamp by Hero Arts. For the little hearts I just put lots of distress inks (broken china, dusty concord and pumice stone) in my craft sheet, sprayed them with pearlised water and added more pearl perfect pearls on top. Then I placed a piece of white cardstock on top and I repeated that until I was happy with the colour and the shine.
I, then cut the hearts in 3 different sizes using my silhouette.
For the red hearts I just used Fired Brick distress ink and then added some red glitter. I covered them with Glossy Accents to make them smooth.
I created the sentiment in Photoshop and distress the card and sentiment with pumice stone ink. Rounded a couple of corners and finished!
Hope you liked the card, and if you want, you still have a couple of days to play along in the challenge.
Now, I have something to share with you.
There’s a new challenge blog in town with articles, swaps, interviews, videos, challenges, great prizes and MORE! Check out Lily Pad Cards!
They are having a hop each day this week and they are great, so what are you waiting for?!
See you tomorrow!!
