Taxi Taxi!



Fenni posted entry to ask her frens to help us recruit subjects for our FYP long ago. Ruohan jus did it today. i think i ought to do it too. though i noe my blog don hav a lot of readers. unlike xiaxue's one. haha. i think if she can help us post an entry regarding this, maybe we can find all the subjects in jus one day. maybe she can provide such service leh. den she can earn money by helping pple to write entries to promote stuffs. easy money lor. lol.

okok, enough of xiaxue. pple, pls help me n my frens for our FYP.

Our project's objectives and purpose:
Investigate the effects of optical defocus (blurring of vision) on driving performance of drivers closed road driving circuit and open road driving.

Subject's criteria:
At least 3 yrs of driving experience in Singapore

Procedures:
subjects need to make time for 2 visits-
1) at Singapore Polytechnic (check the status of the eyes and to do a personality test, decides whether the taxi driver is a suitable candidate for our study) duration: abt 1hr
2) For chosen subject: at Ubi driving centre (perform 3 driving tasks with subject's taxi) duration: abt 3 hrs

Benefits:
1) Free eyecheck even if not chosen as our subject
2) if chosen as subject: receive $50 for time and $30 for fuel at the end of the 2nd visit

10 Promises To My Dog


went to watch "10 Promises To My Dog" with ruohan and fenni after sch today. ruohan's kor joined us too. the movie is v nice n touching! im surprised i didnt cry though, donno y. i felt sad, but i dont seem to hav enough tears to flow out, i think i experiencing dry eyes in the movie theatre jus now. haha. but wads funny is tat i got a lot of mucus in my nose. i still rmb how badly i cried when i watched "Quill" last time.

i oso wan a golden retriever like the one in the movie! so obedient n intelligent n super cute~! did a search online but nobody seems to recall all the 10 promises correctly. i think mine is the most accurate one:



translate it urself n u will get the 10 promises without mistake. lol.

these promises should be made to all the dogs in the world. all dogs deserve a nice owner. =) maybe all the dog owners should question themselves if they made all these promises to their dogs. not only dogs, cats, rabbits, fishes, hamsters should be treated the same way too.

hope i will find a golden retriever sleeping in front of my doorstep tmr. haha. but i think if it ever happens, i cant live to celebrate my 20th bday cuz my mum will kill me. lol.

The Secret

went for a haircut at Tiong Bahru today. a bit disappointed cuz i feel that he thinned it too much and now v difficult to tie my hair. no more excessive thinning next time! and the top part of my hair is v v short! suddenly feel like cutting short hair so that i no need to tie my hair cuz its really v difficult to tie it up now. but i know i don hav the courage to. haha. jus say say only la. Grow grow grow pls my hair!



Rmb that i mentioned abt the book "The Secret"? my bro shocked me when he brought that bk home. he actually bought it for $40. so ex, donno y he bear to spend the money. i asked him y he bought it, den he replied that because i wan to read it. so sweet of him. but i think its becuz he wans to read it too. hahaha. ok la, still wan to thank him for buying the bk. =)

he reads the bk everyday. n now he's applying the "law of attraction" to his life. he actually succeeded. he thought abt getting more money. n today he received a letter telling him that he got the 'Good Progress' edusave award and he will be getting $150! so gd. i oso wan more money. haha. shall ask him to buy sth for me. =P

haha i'm so in love with this song by david cook now- Always be my baby. thanks to ruohan who played this song in the project room today. so nice! going to set it as my ringtone. =)

oh n i received a super bad news when i woke up from my nap today. I would not be working in Tiong Bahru Capitol anymore cuz Kiat Wee (my senior) transferred there. so sad. but i'm glad that i worked there be4. cuz the colleagues r really nice. n really appreciate wad my manager done for me, he tried to keep me but he failed. i hope to work with them again, donno y i got this feeling that i will go back. n i need to wait for jenny to post me to another branch. hopefully its similar to Tiong Bahru. small shop n nice pple. haha. but look on the positive side, im super glad that i didnt quit my job at Foresight! if not i'll be jobless. haha.

nooo no no no no no!

went to watch zohan ytd! super funny though most of the parts are bian tai 1, made me 'eeee' all the way. tats y its NC16. but i didnt realise it is NC16 till we bought the tickets. haha. but i will watch it even if i noe its NC 16 la. oh ya, he likes to say " nooo no no no no no" in the movie. so funny.pls go watch it.
june is always packed with lots of nice movies. i still wanna watch the japanese doggy movie that is coming up 26june, oh which is today. haha. think i will cry like nobody's business cuz i think the dog will die. N I CANNOT SEE ANIMALS OR OLD PPLE DIE IN SHOWS, i will cry. n i wanna watch Get Smart, highly recommended by sheena. n kungfu panda, n the robot movie that is coming up. if my "wad i wanna watch" movies list match urs, tell me k. we go watch together. haha.

my colleague andy told me abt a book when i read his thumb n see whether he got this "Confucius's Eye" and when i told him a fortune teller told my mum that my health will not be gd. den he told me if i believe my health wont be gd, den it wont be gd. haha. den he starts to intro this bk called "The Secret", which is not a secret alr la, so many pple read this bk i think. this bk is trying to say that theres this law called "Law of Attraction" which is similar to the gravity law. it says that ' Without exception, every human being has the ability to transform any weakness or suffering into strength, power, perfect peace, health, and abundance.' sounds amazing isnt it. n the way to do it is quite simple, jus think of wad u wan n believe that it will come true n it will come true. i noe its too gd to be true. haha. they even mentioned that famous ppl like Beethoven, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton used this law. haha. i shall visualise that i will live in a rural village next time. haha. if it comes true den i tell u guys. haha. btw thats my dream k. oh ya, i wan to open flower shop too. maybe i can run a flower shop in a rural village. lol. but i wonder who will buy flowers in village, but i don mind them exchanging food with me. =)
