Almost Halloween!!

We are getting so excited for the holiday season, and it has been really fun now that the boys are getting into the spirit of things. We have had alot of fun making some decorations in anticipation for Halloween, visiting a pumpkin patch and farm, and just enjoying the fall weather!!

I love pulling out the warm pj's so that we can start bundling up for the cold weather. This is a typical picture of our boys together - they are like two peas in a pod, and love being together.

We have started doing "school" at our house, and one thing we do for school is go to our library class (reading time) twice a week. This week for Brenden's age group they got to dress up in their costume to read books, make pumpkins, and play games. They had a great time!! As I was sitting there I just thought, now I understand why every parent thinks their child is the greatest - because they are :) I love them so much!!

Nathan is becoming more animated like Brenden :). He is pulling his super hero move while holding Anilyssa's binki for her so that it is kept safe.

Brenden was a pro at all the games, and was great at balancing this "eyeball" on a spoon to put it in the witches brew.

For Family Home Evening we had a great time going to HeeHaw Farms and enjoying the pumpkin patch, hayride, animals, and playgrounds. We then took a pumpkin home and had a great time carving it. Brenden got into it, but Nathan wasn't so sure about the slimy stuff we had to dig out.

Brenden loved helping Daddy with the carving part because he got to use a knife.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
