It's always nice when we have an unusual advertiser on the Muqata.
Right now (apparently viewable in the US only) we are displaying an ad for Areyvut - or more specifically Areyvut's "A Kindness a Day" calendar.
Areyvut is a non-profit Jewish organization in the US that reaches out to Jewish kids to teach them chesed (kindness), tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (social action) - in meaningful and practical ways.
Areyvut has published a very nice desk calendar. Every day it gives you a new idea for a different act of kindness you can perform that day. That's 365 acts of kindness in total.
It's certainly a very nice/meaningful gift and a great way of helping support the work of Areyvut (and directly getting something back in exchange - now that's win-win).
And for people who read blogs in the WebAds network, you can now get 20% off the price.
You can't beat that.
So now, go out and buy a few dozen desk calendars for your next Shul, Simcha (Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah giveaways), or school event.

i have used this calendar since it's inception - it has some great ideas! it could be good for a principal or classroom, so students passing by can see the daily kindness.
