Bling Bling

So I needed a really girly tag for a Christmas gift I'm getting shipped next week and this is what I came up with..

I decorated with Crystals - Candy Pink and Crystals - Baby Blue around the edge I used extra glue as I dotted them around the edges so the gift tag would still look like this at Christmas when my niece get's her gift.. 

The die cuts are Christmas Baubles Die-Lights - and Swirly Leaves Die-lights

and I also used one of the beautiful Pearl Brads - White Basics

I found out it was about time to get started on the gift tags for this years christmas, not nearly all our gifts gets home made tags , I just don't have the time with extra hours spent at work in december and all the extra activity with the girls..but I like to get started and see how far I get..

Decorated Christmas tree

You need a nice and easy card for one of your christmas gifts , or you just want something easy to mass produce to have around your family christmas card's
This card was really easy to put together,
The card is half an letter size card stock,
The Christmas tree is the biggest of the Christmas Tree NESTED Die-Lights
The tree it self is cut from Doodlebug sugar coated cardstock and decorated with Crystals - clear iridescent  , Halfpearls - Snowwhite and Pearl Brads - White Basics up in the corner I have used stamps from the French Vintage Postmarks stamp set and added a Norwegian stamp that says Merry Christmas .

Final piece for the advent callendar ♥

This will be one for under neath the tree, the last one was for my friends birthday. And I have started wrapping up the gifts and sent my friend a sneak by mail.. 

You might say oh how organized you are so early with these things.. 

but actually no.. we, my bestie and I live so far apart that sometimes most often meet once or twice a year.. so when we get the chance to meet up I want to be sure it's all in place so I don't have to just throw the stuff together.. Because this just can't be shipped in the mail..

Winter card ♥

All though it's far from winter here (barely autumn some days) I still got in the mood to play with my gorgeous new stamps. These are from last Christmas collection at Whiff of Joy but so cute and pretty.
And I needed a couple of cards to go with the Calendar tags from the last two posts...To make the snow I used glitter + liquid pearl easy as can be but you need to be patient and give it the drying time it needs..

Better late than never?? Saturated Canary Challenge

Well about 5 min ago I realized my blog post for Thursday wasn't up yet and I'm usually so precise on these.. so I really don't know what or who to blame.. only myself I guess..

The theme this time is Untraditional Christmas Colours

 Here in Norway Purple is a pre Christmas colour the colour we usually decorate advent with..

Since the time before Christmas is a hectic one with plenty of work, presents to be bought, and all that comes with that. I usually start early my Christmas decorating but this year I haven't had much time..

Hope to get some done tomorrow and Wednesday..

Whiff of Joy Christmas tags

It's always pretty with self made gift tags at Christmas ,

when I got my kit from WoJ the first thing that dropped to my mind was Tag's..

 Here is one up close 

I used my Tim Holtz big tag die but you can use anything and this is a typical tag that your able to buy precut too, or you can even cut rectangle and cut of two of the corners but be sure to measure first as I know from experience that uneven cutting won't look pretty!

A home made Christmas gift

Hello It's be again, just neglecting my blog again..
Figuring out if I should start posting other stuff like my girls too in here just to keep you busy in between my crafty projects that I hope will be much more of when I get settled in my craft room.

My Husband and his father will be putting up a new wall in there this weekend as the old one had to go down. And I'm getting a carpet in there too as it's the basement the floor is sooooo cold!!
I will be taking pictures along the way when the room is cleared out of stuff..
It's been used for storage these last few years well since we used it as a bedroom about 7 years ago actually.

Well over to todays happening..
It's my day to post over at the WoJ Blog.. Yaaaaaaaaay I love doing that!!

I wanted to do something special for my October post as Christmas will be here before you know it..

Every year I make something for my Aunts
(don't you dare Tante Astrid and Tante Inger looking at this post I know your on Facebook!!)
for Christmas as they all give such wonderful gifts for my girls.

So this year I came up with this:

I have taken a Jam jar and spray painted it white.

Perfect to put some candy in...

And a Little card to go with it 

On my jar I used 

Essential Backgrounds - Spots & Dots (3 Clear Stamps)

and coloured the dots with Copic in different blue colours to match my card.

The pretty ribbon is 

Exclusive Satin Ribbon - Christmas Red

On the lid I used the Snowflakes Trio

and layered two of them.

And for my card :

The size is about 12x12 cm

Paper Piecing at Sarurated Canary Challenge

At This challenge over at Saturated Canary we want to see some Paper Piecing.

Not something I usually do that much of so here is my try.

I paper pieced parts of her dress on and her socks 

The tiny sugar canes are not easy to shade. So I added some glossy accent on them 

to get a little extra depth to them.

The stars are a die-light from Whiff of Joy.The papers are from My Minds Eye.

..well not really as it's still a wee bit of summer here where I live but it's always nice to have a little stack of Christmas card already made up when December comes as there is always lots to do that month..
