Happy Thoughts

Hello I working on a new challenge at
Try Stampin' (or not) on Tuesday

This is a sketch challenge which I will post below with an optional theme of mixed patterns.

For my card, this is totally out of a Recollections pad including the sentiment so that everything matches.
Just trimming out pieces and matching the sketch and it's all done.  The additional dimensional butterfly is also from Recollections.
All put on a side fold purple cs base with some added Neuvo drops.

Heart Song

Hello everyone,
It's a new challenge at
Try Stamping on Tuesday.

We have a double theme this round.
Sketch and or Tic Tac Toe
which I will post below.

For my card, I'm going with the center vertical row: Heart/Music/Glitter.
I started with heart paper from Recollections.  The notes I had in my stash and I framed it with red cs.  The two tail flags are from scraps as well from a glitter pad that I just love.  I don't remember the maker but I got the pad at JoAnn's.   I topped that with a thin strip of black printed washi tape and added a puffy gold heart sticker.  I mounted it all on a black top fold cs base.

Here are the sketch  and the tic tac toe board for this challenge

HB Notes

Hello Everyone
It's my BIRTHDAY TODAY
and
It's a new challenge at
Try Stampin' or Not on Tuesday.

This round the theme is a this or that and I will post the image below.

For my card, I started with a piece of blue cs as my front panel.  I added a piece of chevron silver mylar card stock from Mambi that I rounded off the corners.   I then ran faux stitching around the edges of both.  I then cut a piece of grey/blue paper from recollections and framed that with a piece of grey cs.  I wrapped blue and white bakers twine around the front panel.  The HB sentiment is a sticker that I had in my stash and I raised it with dimensional tape and topped it with a wink of stella to give it a bit more flair and shine.  I then added robin egg blue Neuvo Drops around the piece.  All on a dark grey side fold cs base.

I hope you have fun playing along with this challenge at Try Stamin' on Tuesday.

Try Stampin' (or not) on Tuesday.
With an Easter Twist.

This sketch has a bunch of layers.  I started with the front panel in brown cs.  I stamped a large background stamp by Hero Arts - market spice that I stamped with versa mark and used clear embossing powder.  The papers are all from one coordinating pad by Recollections.  The bunnies were cut with an old die from Simon Says 'my kind of peep',   I put them on a white piece of cs that I edged in vintage photo distress and used liquid snow for their bunny tails.  The sentiment was colored with an alcohol marker and then dabbled with brushed corduroy, vintage photo, gathered twigs and ground espresso distressed inks then I cut it with a stitched flag die.
I added neuvo drops in cream around all the pieces.  All added on a different shade of brown cs, top fold base.

Cute Bugger

Hello  Hello
It's another sketch challenge at
Try Stampin' (or not) on Tuesday.
(see sketch below)

with an optional theme of favorite patterns.

I have to say ... I tend to gravitate to florals and I love a polka dot.  So I used florals in the dry and wet embossing and the swiss dot accent piece.

For my card, I started with a stamp from Bugaboo. and I used both colored pencils and markers on the image.  I trimmed that down and rounded the corners and mounted it on a coral scrap of cs.
The next layer is stamped with a mandala flower stamp by Hampton Arts.  I stamped it randomly on a white piece of scrap and used white embossing powder.   I then blended Fired Brick, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed distress inks across the piece and rounded those corners as well.
The yellow polka dot printed paper is from Simple Stories and carrying over the rounded corners.
The black cs front panel was dry embossed with a flower folder by Darice.
The sentiment was stamped on a black piece of scrap with white embossing powder and a stamp by Stampendous.
All was set on a rust orange cs, side fold base.  I added clear crystals randomly about to finish it off.

Here is the sketch.

Have fun playing along.

Using the shaker die set from MFTs - I cut the three circles in the blended piece.  I added the shaker pieces and filled them with green and gold sequins and bits.  I backed the shaker with a dark green cs.

The sentiment was stamped on a piece of scrap green cs with a stamp from MFT in gold embossing powder.

The twist is to use metallic.
The sketch for this challenge is below.

For my card, I started with the Yay from My Favorite Things.  I had used the negative in another project and this was on my work table.  I have an ink dauber that is loaded with embossing ink and I inked it up with silver embossing powder a couple of times.  I did the same thing with a scrap of white where is inked just the outer edge.   The printed cs if from DCWV.
So now to build.  I cut a piece of dark purple cs with a postage stamp die by Spellbinders. Then I added the white piece with the edged in silver embossing.  Then the printed piece from DCWV.
The sentiment flag is stamped with My Favorite Things with matched silver embossing powder.

Here is the sketch so that you can have fun playing along.
