Hyperactivity
I am feeling very very hyper now. Well, ever since I got home from shopping with my parents. We went to Orchard to shop for formal clothes. But, as usual, shopping at orchard for me=fruitless trip. Unless I go to those normal shops like Giordano or something.
I desperately need formal clothes! Need to go for internship interview next Tuesday and my favourite formal black shirt is torn (don't ask.) =( .
Hmm...what shall I blog about?
Tou Tou Sleepover
It was really fun. We watched tv and vcds till late, played the Sims, and talked rubbish till the wee hours. =) =) =) Wonderful friends, tv shows to comment on, nice vcds to watch, air con, the Sims, my laptop, coffeeshop and 7-Eleven just downstairs, KFC just across the road, Isabel saying my new jeans are nice...what more could I ask for? =D Love!
Sentosa Class Outing on Monday 25/9/06
I hate Sentosa. But I decided to put aside my hatred for the love of my class =) . We found a good spot on Siloso Beach after quite a lot of walking (they have this beach tram thing now so we didn't have to do quite as much walking as we would have had to once, but it was still quite a bit of a walk as most of the shelters were occupied), we found a good windy spot with our very own personal rock to sit on (a rock which I found out was fake the next day. It looked quite real to me.).
We each brought some food with us so there was quite a lot to eat. After gobbling down some, I ran off to play volleyball with the others. And was pleasantly surprised to find that I still retained some of the "skills" Cheryl had taught me all those years ago (are you proud of me? hahaha). And so, I was (shockingly) transformed from quiet, mild-mannered, sport-hating girl to aggressive, trash-talking, egoistic, (almost) sports athlete. I actually MOVED in my attempts to hit the ball. This is very rare when I am playing sports. I usually just stand there like a lemon and refuse to run around to try and hit the ball when I play ball sports. It's not worth it, I always tell myself. I leave it to fate (read: I am very lazy). If it comes near enough to me so I can hit it without moving my legs, then great. I will attempt to hit the ball. If not, then oh-too-bad-as-if-I-care-anyway.
Ok. I must be boring you. Sorry.
So after about an hour of volleyball-ing, they got bored and decided to do something else, like go play in the sea. We went back to the shelter and spotted this group of 3 (was it 3?) Sikhs. They were fully dressed and milling around near the sea. They looked like those people whom I always see around my condo, looking at houses. Then, to our shock, they went to a rock behind our shelter and started taking their clothes off (leaving their boxers on, of course). And erm...one of them was wearing his shorts too high and he looked rather obscene (think major protrusion plus hairy-ness).
So that was the interesting sight of the day. They (my classmates, i mean. Though the Sikhs did, too.) played around in the sea for a while, buried James in the sand, (I was slacking at the shelter, feeling too lazy to move cos it was so hot. I figured that I'd already burnt enough energy playing volleyball) and started throwing people in the sea.
I escaped cos I didn't bring any clothes and made that clear to the dunkers.
Time flies when you are having fun (*slaps self for being so cliche*), and soon I had to go cos I had a family gathering that night. I left with Shar on the beach tram and realised, to our amusement, that two of the Sikhs we'd seen earlier were on the same tram as us.
I buggered off home after shopping around at Harbourfront Mall (is it called that?) with Sarah and Sonia. Nothing much to see.
Haiz. Can't believe we are all going for internship in like 5 weeks. My company is in Jurong lor. So far away. But then it's a good company and apparently they have shuttle bus service so I shall hop around like a happy bunny.
Ok I think I have worked off some of my hyper-ness in typing this blog post. Good night. Ciao!
