Mari semua, Kita tonton GENG : Pengembaraan Bermula!

Heyya!

Saya ingin menyeru semua orang yakni seluruh rakyat Malaysia dan juga mamat & minah Indon, bangla, maid Filipina, buruh2 Myanmar tidak lupa Pak Guard Gurkha/Nepal et al yang menetap di Malaysia dan fasih berbahasa Melayu untuk sama-sama menyumbang dana pergi menonton sebuah cereka animasi 3D pertama di Malaysia; Geng:Pengembaraan bermula

Satu transformasi dalam dunia cereka layar perak telah berlaku, GENG harus ditonton oleh semua lapisan masyarakat tidak kira yang tua apatah lagi yang berjiwa remaja seperti saya... betul! betul! betul! Mungkin ada yang bertanya kenapa saya beria2 benar menyuruh orang melihat GENG? Jawapannya mudah kerana saya sendiri telah melihatnya! Saya bangga menyatakan saya adalah di antara penyumbang dana tiket demi memastikan GENG mencapai target RM 10 juta sasarannya. Tak percaya eh?!

Ini buktinya.

Geng merupakan satu fenomena baru dalam industri perfileman tempatan. Tidak hairan ramai yang berpusu2 ke panggung sejak hari pembukaannya. Menariknya, hampir seluruh panggung sold out setiap hari. Hingga kini jualan tiket sudah mencecah RM2.2 juta.. wowww! kaya atuk dan hantu durian dibuatnya. Kami sendiri menghadapi saat-saat sukar mendapatkan tiket. Cubaan pertama adalah pada hari berkasih sayang. Jangkaan bahawa ramai couple-mouple akan keluar dating sampai larut malam meleset sama sekali apabila melihatkan ramai couple-mouple ini yang beratur untuk mendapatkan tiket. Lebih menyedihkan, mereka ini seperti tiada mercy langsung sanggup membiarkan adik-adik peminat kecil upin & ipin menangis kesedihan apabila tidak dapat membeli tiket kerana rupanya mereka-mereka ini lebih upin & ipin dari adik2 peminat kecil, sighh.

Berkat kesabaran dan percaya Tuhan mempunyai esa, manusia mempunyai asa.. saya terus mencuba dan akhirnya pada malam senin kliwon, saya isteri dan .... , 2 adik manis telah berjaya meloloskan diri memasuki panggung THX untuk menghiburkan diri kami dengan cerita GENG.

Permulaan cerita GENG agak mendatar tambahan saya pula sibuk menghentam hot dog 1901 kegemaran saya, namun sedikit demi sedikit cerita ini berjaya menarik perhatian saya dengan content & humor yang mengelikan ulu hati. Tidak terkejut jika saya katakan seluruh panggung bergelak sakan pada ketika lawak2 tertentu yang begitu bersahaja. Namun ada ketika pula perasaaan menyayat hati apabila jiwa dan perasaan penonton dimainkan.. tsk..tsk..tsk.. tidak kurang juga elemen aksi dan suspens yang mampu membuat anda tidak senang duduk. Keseluruhan kami begitu teruja dan gembira.. dan lebih utama berbangga kerana hasil kerja anak tempatan berjaya membuka mata dunia dengan semangat MALAYSIA BOLEH! yehaa.

Saya begitu teruja dan berjanji akan membeli DVD original apabila sudah berada di pasaran kelak supaya boleh dimainkan tatkala jiwa saya gundah gulana!

Oleh itu jangan lepaskan peluang anda. Marilah kita ramai2 pakat p tengok GENG: Pengembaraan Bermula. Jom..

Politics, politicians. political plots... arghh bugger offf!!!

I have fed up with the current state of my beloved country. With the political games, slanders, sex life/choice and power puff crazy politicians still looming even after we (read: the rakyat) had cast our votes with full responsibilities and dignity a year ago. Things havent much change. The aspirations of a sovereign nation still thousand lights year away as political enemies and friends could not find a decent closure for all the mess up they created. 

Too much politicking is killing me!!! Make me want to puke.

It can go long and along without a definite closure; only after the cheerleaders decided to stop, we would stop cheering. After all this is how 'budak koleq'  get the rival team annoyed after we nailed them down..

Paranoia

Kemelut yang melanda negara waktu ini sangat mengusarkan. Jelas kelihatan dua axis politikus perdana (BN dan PR) mengembleng seluruh kudrat, tenaga dan bijaksana untuk menarik persepsi rakyat terhadap setiap percaturan politik mereka. Rakyat disogok dengan pelbagai tohmahan, pertuduhan dan ancaman yang diselang seli dengan fakta-fakta benar demi sensasi potret politik tanahair. Nah, akhirnya rakyat terus terjerumus dan keliru pada lingkungan waktu hanya kerana ingin memuaskan hati para politikus-politikus yang ingin terus berkuasa!

Padahal yang paling utama saat ini, sejauh mana persediaan negara kita dalam menempuhi situasi ekonomi yang semakin merundum tatkala kejatuhan sistem pasaran bebas dunia. Sekadar kita terus 'menderhaka' atau terus gembira bijak 'merampas kuasa' tidak akan sepenuhnya membantu desakan untuk kita bersedia mengharungi satu lagi episod kemelesetan ekonomi dunia yang dijangka akan lebih buruk dari situasi tahun 97. 

Penulis terpanggil untuk membicarakan tentang paranoia yang melanda kedua2 axis ini dalam menentukan kelangsungan masing- masing. Habis seluruh rakyat disuruh bersimpati dengan situasi padahal yang menjadi 'dalang' adalah pimpinan masing2. Sangat jelik dan memualkan apabila simpati rakyat ditagih dan dikerah hanya kerana untuk memastikan agenda politik berterusan dan apabila situasi semakin goyah, Polis dipaksa/terpaksa berhempas pulas memastikan keamanan atas dasar menegakkan undang-undang. Yang rugi dan terus rugi tetap rakyat yang keliru dan terpedaya menjadi barisan hadapan berdepan dengan pasukan polis yang sentiasa bersiap siaga. Menyedihkan, institusi raja sama tersabit manakala Melayu UMNO dan Melayu PAS  bertembung di medan perhitungan untuk tentukan siapa sebenarnya hero bangsa?!

Melayu akan terus melayu, 

hatta rakan sebangsa sudah tidak pandai menilai antara kaca dan permata.

Paranoia as it happens

As Dr Novandri put on his weblog that another police report has been lodged in Bukit Gelugor against Karpal Singh, i came to wonder when these police reports would stop, sheesh!!

Come on la UMNO bros.. how many reports you want to lodge against Karpal Singh, 100? 1000?! Are we going to have another Malaysia Book Of Records of Police Reports? Doesnt ONE police report enough for PDRM to open an investigation case against him, does it? Dont get too emotional on this and i think we can always express our 'Malaysia Boleh' spirit in another way such i thought it should be (in this case) :

Saya kurang bersetuju dengan 'approach' untuk terus membuat laporan polis kepada YB Karpal seperti menunjukkan 44 laporan polis sebelum ini (setakat yang saya ketahui ) terhadap beliau tidak diambil peduli oleh PDRM.

Pada pendapat saya, dari kita beriya2 membuat laporan (yang saya pasti kandungan dan hasrat laporan didalamnya adalah sama) dan cuba mengambil political mileage dalam suasana yang agak tegang ketika ini, adalah lebih bijaksana kalau kita dapat tampilkan peguam - peguam muda Melayu yang berani tampil kehadapan dan dapat membicarakan tindakan Karpal itu dalam konteks perundangan dan perlembagaan. Kita harus berani membicarakan bagaimana 'soal moral dan hak sebagai rakyat' harus tidak lebih tinggi dipertahankan apabila sesuatu isu itu melibatkan institusi kesultanan Melayu.

Dengan cara ini saya percaya, rakyat akan lebih jelas dan terbuka minda akan implikasi dan tindakan Peguam berpengalaman seperti Karpal Singh yang bersungguh menyaman Sultan Perak. Soal siapa yang betul, siapa yang salah bukan kita yang menentukan tetapi kebijaksanaan kita dalam menangani sesuatu isu dalam jangka waktu kini akan menentukan kelangsungan perjuangan orang Melayu di masa hadapan.

Interesting weeks ahead.

The catastrophe in Perak State has yet to put a closure and now both BN and PR will be getting another face to face fight to prove who'd become champion in this political disaster and come out  clean.  A by election would be called by the EC within 60 days due to the demise of the late PAS MP of Bukit Gantang. Al Fatihah

Now, the wish of PR to have a fresh election and let the rakyat decide has been granted. Let the cannon loose, after alll

Interestingly, one of the state seat in Bukit Gantang is Changkat Jering which has turned into an indenpendent constituent. Let us see how much the rakyat prove/dissaprove by such despicable act that has topple down a legal govt.

It will be another challenge to Najib Tun Razak as  UMNO president-elect to prove he is a talismatic leader and by serving himself as the chairman of Perak BN, it would be a contest not to lose.

I am sure you are also surprised with the current development in our nation political scenario in particular the collapsed of 11  months old 'Kerajaan PR' in Perak. I believe the whole thing will setup and transpire a bigger hoo- haa later in the month whilst we should have put our effort to face the current world economic breakdown. It seems the downturn do not influence most of our politician to stop politicking. what is your say, En Morky?

Dear Mr Anti Froggie,

First and foremost, thank you for your question, I like you name, it's kind of remembering me of Mr Frodo of LOTR Trilogy... oh never mind.

Well, actually it is hard for me to give my humble opinion on the current development but i can conclude that our nations have becoming like a king's jester. Our kind of politics have undermining peoples' hope and aspiration for a "chance" in Perak Govt as it decided  to "chance " itself. Basically that's how politician works and in fact they are following the book really well by hopping to a better position. The political landscape of this country has evolved tremendously following Mac 2008 but not to the extend it has developed to a more principal and matured scene. Indeed it has becoming a platform for 2 axis (BN and PR) to show their strength. I wonder myself when the whole political drama would stop? Is the people signal not enough to demonstrate that to survive in a political battle, one has to be accountable, honest, responsible and have integrity in undertaking his job? I am very sadden that most our politician has put their interest to gain/remain in power more priority rather than servicing the rakyat. Pity us.. pity rakyat.

One's agony that deserve a standing ovation

I was nailed back and forth in front of my tv set late yesterday evening not to miss one of the anticipated final between 2 legendary rivals; one already a legend and another is a legend in making in tennis history.  The  chance to see both players to have a gruelling match each other was stimulating as the last time they met was on a grass court in Wimbledon last year when Nadal, the reigning no 1 tennis player historically beaten Federer, currently 2nd best in one of tennis epic of all time. 

After that moment in Wimbledon, i could never forgive myself if happen both player would meet again later in future tournament esp the grand slams. My wish was fullfill and as anticipated, both of them meet again in the finale of Australian Open, yesterday.

Both came to the final with different path to each other. Federer came to prove that he is still the master of hard court and by beating Nadal, he would on track to reclaim his no 1 spot. Further, it also put him in history to match Pete Sampras, another tennis legend of 14 grand slams title. The pressure on him is overhelming.

Whilst Nadal on the other hand secured his way to the semis of Australian Open without losing a single set but was heavily tested by another Spaniard in a match record 5 sets semi final thriller in 5 hours on previous day. With a heavily tag of 'king of clay' upon him, this finale would be his chance to prove he also is best on hard court. Further, this would be another sequel of their great rivalry where Nadal hold a better head to head meeting and prove his is a strong nemesis to Federer. 

This year Australian Open indeed was special to me coz i found a 'special' buddy by the name of Pak Ali, a strong 65 years old man who happen to watch most of the Open match at his home and  was such a sport and articulate to know most of the players. I was really impress by his passion in the sport which sometime quite odd considering his old age and the fact that i dont want him to miss his final too, i made a call to him to make sure he also is in front of his tv set.  :)

and the rest is history as you can find it here when Nadal remain as the King of Tennis. 

a tearful federer couldnt condone his emotion 

as he become 2nd feeder again. Federer's tears don't make him less of a man or a Champion. Wonder such emotion and passion for his beloved sport

can be emulated by all sportsmen around the world.

i wonder whether our Malaysian atheletes would cry as such on their defeat??

Such a true friend and sportmanship of Nadal, upon receiving his prizes, willing to comfort his court nemesis and wishing him all the best in years to come.

A true lesson to our politician out there to venture into sports and learn from it!
