Curbside Pickup: 1960s Steelcase Seating

I was driving down a long country road. As I pass the town's firehouse I see a Knoll-ish coffee out of the corner of my eye. I turn around and check it out. There was a large square 1960s Steelcase coffee table (wobbly legs), junky modern office chair, and these two chairs with an attached coffee table by the trash.  I took the coffee table off and nabbed these 2 chairs for free. Pushed together they make a nice "loveseat". The naugahyde is in great condition, and so is the steel. they are pictured in these vintage advertisements from Fortune Magazine.

Stanley Roberts Inc Flatware

I was very happy for this find. I needed a bigger set of flatware, and I wasn't happy with new sets. I found this complete set of 50 pcs in the boutique part of the goodwill for $14.99. They 1/2 brass 1/2 stainless. The pattern is Goldtone manufactured by Stanley Roberts Inc. They look mid-century. Most were still in there original plastic and never used. They are fun to make starburst patterns with :)
