tmr going to changi beach. coach say mus go train liao. cos 4 mths nvr go for training. hais. don't think can catch up with the others. stamina must be lousy. competition in july and august. surely can't make it. o'levels coming too.. hmm.. see first lahs.

everything is over. graduated. finally.
congrats to those who got a post. lead the band well. work very hard to achieve what you all want. for those who didn't get a post, doesn't mean that you are not good.

went play bball today. was like so long since before SYF. never really had the time to play a game. finally everything is over.
after tat mi went home ard 2 plus. den went to bugis with john. bought a bag. den actually wanted go see digi cam. but he pang seh. idiot. den mi went meet my family. bought a digi cam. 600+. hm.. den after tat walk walk. mi brother and sis bought a bag each. haha. funny. den after tat went home lers.

jus now went nothpoint.. got some materials from the bookshop. den saw fadilah. hmm.. den after tat went to sun plaza. got my contacts. wanted to tried it there. den put on the new pair. everything was in a blur. den i told the uncle.. den he said need to adapt. wait a while. wait 1 min lers. den told him again. he said wait again. den suddenly.. "kelvin tan, what are you doing. haven't took out the first pair den put on the second pair. of cos blur". den i faster took it out. two contacts on the feeling still the same. haha. weird.

went to bought materials for the graduation thing. cost somuch. haha. den after tat went to fatin house. den wen nan wanted to buy too. in the end mi and zhen jie ended up buying more things.
first time i so enthu wanting to do things for teh band. mayeb cos is the last time i am doing it. stepping down in about 4- 8 days?? i duno. hope not too soon. can't bear to graduate. pictures of the band posted on www.multiply.com

SYF is finally over. got a silver. a lot of ppl were saying well done. maybe they don't understand. we had *higher aims*.
on 13th april.. sectionals first. very serious. nobody slacked. after that had combine. mr yiau came with chocolates and biscuits. soo nice of him. even prepared a card of his thoughts of every single band member. could see that a lot of effort were put in. after tat mdm jo came to wish us luck. mr chan too. wanted us to bring back a gold. junainah came back. gave everybody a small strip of paper. wishin us luck. many seniors came back too. even before setting off, we were taking pictures in school. feeling happy and confident.
after playing. went down stage. ppl cried. cos didn't perform well. after tat announcement of results. so tensed atmosphere. we were holding hands. praying silently in the heart for a gold. hands were squeezing each other hands. yet "BAND NUMBER 85 AHMAD IBARHIM SECONDARY SCHOOL silver". hands were let loose. laid back. wanted to be strong and accept the fact. but in the end tears started flowing out from the eyes. uncontrollable. very heartache feeling. turned and saw that almost whole band is crying. wanted to tear even more. mr fauzi and yiau hurried came and console. no use. teared even more. further made worse by other bands' cheering. guan han and yee keong cried too. almost everybody. tat scene i will never forget. some other bands were cheering. ours was silence. went back to the bus. saw other band members of other schools. some crying out of happiness or sadness. felt tat i was lost in an unknown world. lik losing my senses. guan han felt the same
went onto the bus. teared again. tinking of the results. the scene. echoing back in my mind. bus was silent. except for crying sound. sadness. went back to school. mr zee said tat we have done well. wanted us to do a cheer. but silence again. unusual of us. obviously still affected by the results. usually will even cheer over the stupidest things. yet nth happened. den decided to cheer the follwing day. but didn't.

months of hard work is going to be shown tmr. 13th April. soo happy. yet scared. results from the past 2 days were "unstable"?? i duno. scary. even yuhua got gold. no honours. omg. wad is this. top band in singapore getting gold only?? nvm.
we'll see tmr. no matter wad the results are.. just have to play our best. sing thru our instruments. principal, vice-principal, miss lee, mr zee, seniors and gloria came give us their best wishes during combine today. our last "official" practice. most importantly gloria came with chocolates. haha.
band members.. rest well. sleep early tonite. think only about band tmr. even when you are in the classroom. be as focused as you can be. months of hard work is just for that 11 minutes on stage. the results is only a identity to the band. play your best tomorrow. music from the heart is most pure. ~peace out~

yesterday went fiona's birthday party. at seasons view. hmm. happy birthday. may ur wishes come true. 21 yrs old. key to freedom. haha. whole group of my swim team tok together. talk about so much "personal topics". haha. den when we going home tat time decided to throw b'dae girl into the water. and 1, 2, 3.. whoosh!! she was in the water.
AIBAND central judging competition in 3 daes. tomorrow is the first day of central judging competition. wad is aiband going to get this SYF?? i duno. doesn't matter. no matter wad we get.. we've acheived something.. "togetherness" and all the hard work we have put in.. thou SYF is a competition to see where the band stands. enjoy making music together.. with emotions. moments in aiband will never be forgotten. from sec 1 till sec 4. all the seniors. juniors. instruments. drills. conductors. teachers. songs. games. runnings. camps. parties. tears. laughter. music exchanges. performances. practices. all in my mind.

hmm.. 1 week of band. worn out. stressed up. intense preparation for SYF. 4 hours a day. rehearsels for achievement day. under the hot sun. tired.
yesterday band. audition for all the sections. after tat went for outdoor rehearsel. played some stupid marches. so hot under the sun. combined back in hall at 6.20pm. played very out of tempo. in the end whole band run. 10 rds. before tat ran 5 rds at basketball court.
today was alrite. had 3 hrs of sectionals. quite serious.. after tat combined. played quite well. not very tired. 5 days to SYF. 2 more practices. about 6 more hours of combine. iffah, renes, tiffany and penny cried. stressed up.
going to be dogs and birds on achievement day. firstly parade programme. wearing full band U. after tat suppose to go up the staircase near the basketball court. squeezing into tat small space with out instruments and stuffs. having dinner there.for 1 hour. not allowed to walk around. after tat indoor concert. play folklore and tats all. how lame can it be. need go up to music room and be "locked" there. lik birds in cage.
next week guranteed 100% plus CHOP tiring week. after dat.. eh hey. slack slack slack. and opps. i'm in clarinet section. wif wen nan and yu yang. i guess so.
aiband members. last lap to go. lik wad the majors said.no matter how much you hate them. listen to them. over tat hurdle and everything will be over. months of preparations jus for 11 minutes on the stage. give your best on the day.
daniel message to all band members--- jus wanted to give a word of encouragement. we all know we aren't as good as we expect ourselves to be. but the thing is to really keep the music alive, communicate with one another through music like you were really speaking just with your instruments now. moths of preparations just for 11 mins on stage. you reap what you sow. don't worry so much. just make music form the heart and touch the audience, sing sing

today whole day at home. nth to do. study. sleep. study. in the end lik studied nothing. haha. den today the starhub person come install the scv thing. den quite nice lahs, the shows.
at night went out eat. den saw huishan, amily, jesley and 2 gurls. duno their names. actually is huishan called mi. if not i won't even noe. haha. den after tat went northpoint. den went home after tat.
SYF in 11 daes. 24 more hours of practice to SYF. ~peace out~

Happy April Fool's Day. one week didn't blog. hmm.. school was okay. now April lers. 7 more mths to o'levels. soo fas. don't feel like studying. some idiots played a stupid joke. threw eggs into 4E3 and 4E4. whole classroom was smelly. 4E3 cleared up the mess. our class nobody cares. haha. gonna see what smell will there be on Monday. haha.
this week band was quite tiring. SYF in 12 more days. the day where tears will flow. 6 more practices. next mon, wed, thurs and fri. den following mon and tues. wed is the central judging day. 13th April. band no.85. we are in the afternoon slot. 4.15pm. feeling the intensity now. last SYF for the graduating seniors. and for some of the sec 3. have to give our best shot.
when are the seniors stepping down?? hope not too soon. i duno. hope it will be a memorable one. tears will be flowing again. must bring eye drop go fake fake lers. mus "pei he".
next week wed have acheivement day rehearsel. den following monday after wed also gt. nth much. band involved in both indoor and outdoor performances. indoor play choice piece. outdoor is marches all these. sian. achievement day on friday. maybe tat is my last performance in aiband. who noes??
on aiband members minds.. i guess there will only be SYF on it. nth else. thats wad we work for. so hard.
