Last week I had finally finished blogging about the the Eurotrip below. It’s an experience I will never forget. All the crazy things we’ve done: Jumping naked into the snow. Riding a dog sled. Getting thrown off the train. Missing our train stop. 20 hours train ride. 18 hours ferry ride. Seeing the glacier falls. Rafting and jumping into 6ºC-cold glacier water. Getting lost in the Blackforest and tasting the authentic blackforest cake in Blackforest. Exploring undeveloped places like Bratislava. Watching ballet and musical from awkward angles. Sleeping for an hour on the grass in a public park like a European. Will never forget the various cultural interaction at the art and history museums, emotional experience at the concentration camps, as well as the eye-opening archeological site, car museums and factories I ever visited.
This has to be most eventful year for me ever! I can't believe I've been away for 8 months, but do not feel the least homesick. My time here in Hong Kong is more exciting, eye-opening and fun than being bogged down by work. I guess being away from home also forces me to interact with more strangers.

My hair ate the birthday cake

July babies!
Beautiful view by Eunice's dad's place at Clearwater Bay
I can't believe there can be any place in Hong Kong can match Santorini's beauty
We decided to try out the Tram party, which is something we nvr get to do in Singapore
It's basically a top-less tram so you enjoy the night view of Hong Kong and the breeze!

Yet another outing!

Tried my hand at painting at Artjamming outing with other interns and grads! So fun!

Farewell for Eunice. She's so sweet.
View on the bus ride to Tai Tam for wakeboarding
You will not believe how mountainous HK island is until you've been here!

First time wakeboarding! Pretty hard to balance!
To sum it up, I guess Hong Kong is a good place for wealthy people to spend money on. Very messy, noisy, materialistic environment. It can be such a cold and concrete place to live in without friends. Yet it has been great memories and experiences for me here. I already started missing this place even before leaving this place. Meanwhile, school has started and I will have many things to catch up with when I reach home – gatherings with friends from everywhere, keep myself updated with SMUX, driving, planning for end of year trip, go for career talks, apply for jobs and study hard! Have already missed out so many outings with SMUX, OAC and NYGG!
Biggest LV store in Asia.
Nice farewell dinner for Garreth at Nicholini's, Conrad, and meet-up with Jaz!
Yummy desserts!
