Michael got me a new camera for Christmas. I took these photographs of Griffin after I got over my fear of taking the camera out of the camera bag for the 2nd time.

Enjoying Christmas Gifts.
Griffin received some cool Christmas gifts. Today he put together the fruit powered eco-clock. He loves science projects!!
And then, a rainbow of Sharpies and a blank canvas ~ I can only imagine what he may come up with.

Goodbye Elfie.
Griffin is saying goodbye to Elfy ~ I love this sweet letter that reminds him that though Elfy's visit was fun and the gifts will be too, the true reason for the season is Jesus Christ. It reminds him it is Jesus's birthday and it is a wonderful time to embrace family, community, giving, sharing and joy.

Hostess Gift.
We were invited to a Christmas party last night and I decided to take a Hershey Bar pie for dessert. I wanted to make a plate to share the pie on so I made this for the hosts of the party.
Artist Table.
I found this awesome table at Hobby Lobby for an artist friend of ours. It's the perfect height for her to put her paints and brushes on when she is painting. I decided to cutomize it with her name.

Photography - My New Camera.
My very sweet husband gave me a new camera for Christmas. He decided to give it to me a few days before Christmas so I can practice a little before Christmas arrives. These are the first photographs I have taken with it.

Christmas Eve 2014 - Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
We were invited over to our friends' house to celebrate Christmas Eve. It was an 'ugly Christmas sweater' theme. I made an ugly sweater or shirt for each of us.

Bama Fan - Gifts For My Brother
I was in an ornament swap, hosted by my sister-in-law Bonnie. I chose my brother's name. He is an Alabama fan, so I decided to make him an Alabama ornament and subway sign.

A Cup Just For Griffin
Last night Griffin asked me if I could make something for him. Today I decided to take some time to make something special just for him. He loves the ender dragon from Minecraft so I knew I wanted to add that to a cup with his name. It's my first layering attempt! It's definitely not perfect, but Griffin will not see all of the imperfections I see.

Elf on the Shelf - Geography Edition.
Griffin is really into Geography these days ~ he loves playing 'Stack the States' and 'Stack the Countries' and he enjoys sharing facts with us. He also loves to draw the United States. This is a map he drew free hand last night. He wrote a note hoping Elfy would take it to Santa , Well, you can see the results in the 2nd picture. Santa checked the map, approved it, marked Griffin's location with a red dot for easy location and made copies to distribute to other boys and girls as Griffin requested. He left the original for Griffin. That Santa Claus, he's one awesome fella!
