Eye Liner All Over?

What Do Ya Think?! Eye Liner on Bottom Lashes?

When I was on my trip I experimented with Eye Liner on my lower lash line.
I never usually do this, but on my trip decided to try it out!

I used Sephora Black Khol liner.
I gently drew on the liner, and winged it out softly.
It lasted all day!!!

I think its different, usually i see some stars like Liz Taylor and  Sophia Loren with all over liner.
So why not try it!
I thought it was cool how my eyes really popped when I lined my bottom lashes.

When I was on my trip we went over to 'Sephora', and whew!!!..... That store makes me go makeup gaga!!! All me and my mom was saying was" I like take 2 of those and 3 of them .."
ha ha!!
It was so much fun at Makeup Heaven!!!
I Bought some really cute vintage inspired makeup!!
So in the near future I will give product review!!!

Vintage Make Up HowTo

Hello Vintage Lovers!
Today I will show you the basics of achieving old Hollywood makeup look from the 40's and 50's.
Here is a guide of makeup colors they use back then
Eyeshadow: White, Beige, Lavender, Pink Ivory, Brown, Grey, Black, Sage Green, Mint Green, Navy Blue, Powder Blue
Blushes: Pink, Burgundy
Lipstick: Dark Pink, Red, Orange Red, Burgundy, Apricot,Pinch of Pink
Eye Liners: Black, Dark Brown, Medium Brown

Here Is my how to for a baa sic 40's /50's look:
Clean Face!!! (Eck)

Apply Foundation on your eyelids

Apply Beige Eyeshadow on your whole in tire lips. Next apply a darker eyeshadow on your crease (i choose a lavender) When applying your crease shadow look at your mirror when tracing your shadow then close your eyes and blend into the crease bone.

Blend both eye shadows with your blending brush. Think soft , not harsh.

Apply your liner. I like to use a dark brown liquid liner for the day, It works just as good as black liner but its more of a day time look. Then apply fondation to rest of face.

Once applied mascara, brush your eyebrows and fill them in if needed.

Next apply blush (i like Hard Candy's :Living Doll) blush. Its the perfect pink

Blend Blush on your apples by smiling.

(*For Special Occasions*) Apply face and body white powder on your face (little goes a long way) This creates a techni-color Hollywood glow)

(Blend with blending brush) Blend really good!!!
Next apply your Lip Liner and Lipstick. (I have on Fire &Ice Revlon)

Next Apply Your highlighter apply (cupid bows"lips", on brow bone)

Finish Look!!

I hope you like my Make Up How To!!
Next will be the Finger Waves!!!

Beauty Glamour and Personality Book, & Vanity

Hello Vintage Lovers!
I thought you might like this post, because today I was reading one of my latest vintage books that i purchased from eBay: 'Beauty Glamour and Personality' From the 1940's

Its really cool book to have because it shows you how to put on makeup step by step with picture, and they used stars such as Lana Turner to demonstrate. They also show you how to exercise, which hair styles look good and so forth. But what really pooped out to me was they said Ever glamorous girl should have a nice neat place to put your makeup on and do your hair. I recently got from a antique store a 1950's vanity that a mirror folds up (where my books are at) and you can store makeup.

I have everything there that I need perfume, Some hankies, cotton ball,  vintage earrings,  makeup you name it. Although it seems a little cluttered ( its a pretty clutter though ha ha)
They said your hair and makeup station should be inspirational, having pictures of ladies who inspire to be! Which i Thought was a nice touch to add!
I was also looking at Dita Von Teese Make up Vanity. And I got really inspired! I just love how people get vanity's and they doll them up!!

although I don't have hats stands ( i have some hats displayed in my room and vintage purses) but they are all in hat boxes. In my closet and underneath my bed. But Its so pretty!! I love to display sparkly items. I did not take a picture of them but i have a white plush board and i have all my vintage brooch gems displayed! ha ha!!
This spring I am going to paint my room a English rose. Because my room has white antique furniture but has 1960's feel to it!! LOL
But I thought this was pretty cool
Hope you like it!!
