Reboot - Ronson Ep

Frank Heinrich aka Reboot is a producer that Minimaland has never mentioned till this date. Despite that fact he is one of the most promissing producers in the tech house scene having previously released some Ep’s on famous labels like Cadenza Records and now, for the second time, he shows up on Cocoon Recordings new edition to deliver a brilliant piece of genuine dance music. This limited edition starts, in the A side, with “Mirasierra”, a long length track that is being charted by Luciano, Nick Curly and many others. I really like this one, it’s a great construction that goes around mnml tech tribal rhythms. In the B side appears “Ronson” with more powerful roots among a step by step pattern, a massive techno beat and a huge bassline… this is something to order the dancefloors to go mad, it’s the most valid tool of the Ep and the most valid reason of this post. A Blue limited edition that all music appreciators should have in their collections

Phil Kieran - Wasps Under A Toy Boat

If you’re looking for wicked music that will drive you, or your crowd, insane here is the answer to your problems. Phil Kieran’s second Ep on Cocoon Recordings presents a strong music path, full of neurotic moments and massive constructions. This guy from Belfast has been in the scene for a long time and knows what he is doing.. this is the perfect example of it. “Wasps Under a Toy Beat” in the A side is a major techno trip with great breaks completed always by disturbed growing patterns. This is a music to raise the people’s mood to dance, maybe it will be hard to enter in your mind, but once it gets there it will stick to you madly. If you think this is heavy stuff wait until you listen “Tartan Paint”. This music starts and you think that it drives you nowhere.. but it’s not like that, suddenly things start to make sense and all those strange noises couple into a mad dark minimal track. Once it gets step by step, with things in the right place it won’t stop no more. This is a hard Ep, it won’t fulfill all of our readers tastes… but some will like, and that’s the point of showing this to you!

Minilogue - Jamaica Ep

It goes through you and passes over you.
It's kind of a Reminder of some days, the better days :)

I will not give anymore information about Minilogue, I believe if you want, you'll just search the references on the internet, it's only data, lol!
Only have to say that this guy brings always the simplicity above, what else? Then.... well, just eats your neurons progressively :) in a powered.. Jamaica.

And a desynchronized rhythm in encounter with a "electronic harmony", peaceful music.. Totally the opposite of Jamaica. A melodic drive.. i'ts Hispaniola.
Simply, Jamaica Ep is the power and the after hours :D

Beroshima - Horizon Ep

Release nr 38 on Cocoon Recordings by Beroshima, Berlim based producer. Great Ep, nice & different. Horizon is being played by Michael Mayer among others. It's a great old school feeling track, full of explosions in a awesome melodical environment. Some say this is one of the worst's cocoon releases... well, what i have to say it's that this one is not their style, but it just can't be considered as a bad one. Horizon is fabulous and the remix of Pig and Dan just has it to the high standards of minimal music.
Rythm non stop, nice growing paths, a underground beat and there you go... a tripped track, keeping the melodic aspect and just enancing it to a techy level! This remix just fullfills the original one. Nice melodic release brought by the label of the great Sven Vath

a1 - Horizon
b1 - Horizon (Pig & Dan rmx)
