Kreon - Jack Ep

The German label Cecille Numbers is back! In their 4th release they bring back Markos Spanoudakis aka Kreon, one of the producers of the year. The Greek shows once again a pack of groovy productions with 3 tracks made to delight us all.
The Ep starts with Jauce, a very funky track with a stunning shaking beat and some vocals that will turn the dancefloor crazy! It’s definitely a track turned up to sexy deep house flavors but somehow, it would adapt just fine to a morning minimal party! In the b side we have “Clorpe”, this time with the kind of rhythm that we support here in minimaland! A deep track build up step by step, with the different elements appearing one by one in the proper time. This is the kind of groove that we are in to, so it’s easily our favorite track of the Ep. To end this sweet release we have “Just Jack” with some sassy soul vocals and a great bassline beat, a house tune, once again, turned to morning party’s. It’s a nice shake but it doesn’t properly fit in minimaland patterns!
Despite the house convergence, we can’t say that this is a bad release… the level of production is well above the average and the kind of productions is somehow different and tasty! “Clorpe” is the most shiniest track of the Ep, full support!

Nick Curly - Dubnoise Ep

Every new season we seem to acquire new tastes, new flavours and passions. In musical terms, in the last 3 or 4 months, Cecille Records has represented all those sensations to me. They brought up, in their first two releases, two of my favourite producers at the moment - Lemos and Kreon - and since then I've been paying a dedicated attention to every release this awesome label has! In their 6th Ep they managed to have one of their founders to follow up their pack of releases. This guy has been in the scene for like a decade now and but he only started to produce back in 2005 and now he creates to his own label. Dubnoise Ep it's his 5th release in this year and it's a pretty good rally of deep minimal touches. This release has been played in the dancefloors by guys like Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Raresh, Johnny D, André Galluzzi and Gregor Tresher among others, it has 3 nice musics, all of them perfectly produced.
In the A-Side the German presents us "Happy Five" and "Dubnoise" - the first one has a fine groovy beat with lots of fresh sounds perfectly suitable for the summer and the second bets more on deep flavours, twisted and tripped sounds and on a dub beat that will delight all of you. Finally, in the B-Side, we have a delightful "Somewhere in Berlin" that will surprise you by it's dry beat and a tremendous hypnotic deep groove turning this music into the most fitful to my standards. So people, this is a "not to miss" Ep, if you are interested into this things more than the ordinary people, please buy it, listen it, whatever... just don't stay out of it! Mind blowing sounds and deep grooves it's what Cecille Records has been giving to us, and this is not an exception... hope you enjoy!

Robert Dietz - Jaszu Ep

We knew Cecille Numbers - parent label of Cecille Records - by their awesome first release with Lemos on the Decks. Now this German label is back with Robert Dietz. I didn't knew this producer but his work is quite nice! 4 very seductive tracks, from the deepest feelings to the most refined art of minimal beats! First track is "Backseat" and it approaches a deep sexy housy style, perfect to a great after hours party in the first hours of the morning. "It's lonely the dub" is the kind of music that i deeply like! Groovy beat and perfect flow during all the music. Dub art, true german style! Finally we have "Lost Horizon", a nice neurotic music with great variances of bassline. This one really leads you to higher mind states. If you buy the digital version you'll have a bonus music called "Salon du Roi", also quite listenable! A complete Ep directly made to enter the deepest parts of your body, mind and soul! One of the most groovy things i listened this hear. So... a new talent and a very promising label is our suggestion for today! They are to loose out of sight! Really liked their kind of music style... their next release? Kreon -Hey Jack Ep... be aware!

Lemos - Part One / Part Two

Lemos was my biggest surprise so far this year. His music is genuine and passioned and his sense of style is incredibly suitable to the new trends. So... the Greek producer got back with this release divided in two Eps ("Part One" and "Part Two") to celebrate the birth of a new label: Cecille Numbers. The a side of both was worked together with Ilan Manovach and they managed to create two true funky love tracks glanced by a great saxophone's (recorded live) coming along with a brilliant deep beat in two exquisite tracks. If you think that the A side of both are good wait untill you listen the B! "What Do You Believe?" is being played by names like Villalobos, Magda, Loco Dice, Karotte among others and has created great moments in the clubs. It goes through acid flavors, and the voices are not bad. Finally lets talk about "My Lady"... this has all the ingredients needed to a great music... nice construction, perfect beat, clean breaks and a strong rhythm. It's my favorite of the 4! Lemos equals Future, a stunning release, hope you enjoy.
