Another new year!

As I gear up for this new school, I'm very excited! I hope you are too. :) I've been thinking about all the great things we'll be exploring together and how much we will be learning from one another. Hooray! This year we will have a broad theme and each grade will focus on certain artists. Here is the list:

School wide art theme - Art from Asia - This will include countries, such as, China, Russia, India, Japan, Israel, etc.

Some artists we will focus on are - Jim Dine, Pablo Picasso, George Rodrigue, Salvador Dali, Roy Lichtenstein, Friedrick Hundertwasser, Faith Ringgold, Leonardo da Vinci, Claude Monet, Eric Carle, Hokusai, Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall and many others.

Can't wait to see familiar faces and get to know new ones. See you all tomorrow!

Around the Art Room

ColorCycle is well underway this year. Keep collecting in and outside of school. Let's work together keep our Earth clean. :)

The art room got a bit of a make over. New yellow wall to bring the cheer.
