This year has gone by so unbelievably fast! I guess we have just been busy what with going to Newport, buying a house, Easter Craft Day, going to Disneyland, going on a cruse to Alaska, Summer Craft Day, Ava's birthday, and now Mike is preparing for his man trip. I guess I should post some things. But I will go out of order because I am getting a lot of requests to post the Summer Craft Day.
This craft class was a little mellow compared to ones in the past. Linda and I did not go completely overboard with decorating ideas..instead we focused more on food. Many of the talented ladies offered to bring their favorite summer salads and we had a quaint little lunch, complete with "Good Water", chicken cream croissant sandwiches, chocolate dipped strawberries, and individual berry pies.
For the craft projects we made 3 different patriotic decorations: Stackers, an awesome wreath that we made for $10.00 (the inspiration sells online for $89.00), and Please Remove Your Shoes sign. Sadly come to think of it I don't have pictures of the final product...hum I will have to add them later. But here are a few decorating ideas...for next year...since I am so not on the ball!

The next epic craft day will be September 29th. Looking at these pictures makes me so tired!! What a great day and great food.
