Denver.

Were any of the people who will lose their jobs when gun and magazine makers leave the state present at the signing? How about people whose rights are being violated? To the latter question, the answer is yes, since rights belong to everyone.
It's still lost jobs, but the bigger problem for Colorado will be the lost income.
As for those 200, I'm sure their families feel much better now that this law is passed, and they wouldn't mind, at all that you don't consider their jobs important.
Given the current jobs situation in Obama's economy, no governor should be willing to lose any jobs. But hey, unemployed people can't afford to buy guns and ammunition, right?
Magpul is 200 jobs plus those employed elsewhere who are somewhere in the supply chain. This doesn't take into account the push to boycott CO for both hunting and fishing, or the talk of hunting and fishing shows encouraging their viewers to go elsewhere. Did I mention that hunting and fishing generate 1.8 billion dollars worth of economic impact in CO? Or that the bulk of its hunting revenue comes from out of state hunters who are free to choose to hunt elsewhere?
Abridging citizens' rights under color of law, and driving jobs, business, and cash out of the state.
ReplyDeleteBig win there.

ReplyDeleteYou mean the whole 200 workers? That should tank the CO economy.
