Displaying the Clawed Paw of Ownership, Zeb shows us His latest scratchy board (that he doesn't scratch because he loves it being His so much!) and then .....Zebby Cat snuggles down on His favourite bath mat, with His cat nip plant fully under His control - all the better for Zeb to enjoy a happy snoozle!
(Postscript on May the 4th - I hope to be able to revive 3 foundlings from Zebby's happy cat summer of "Nip" delight.)

Good for Zebby cat!! xxx
Super thanks John - I'd give you just the same happy home were you my neutered male feline snuggle pet!
Thanks, I think! I don't fancy being neutered....not yet anyway! xx
Dear, sweet, Zebby-lad...he's obviously addicted to nipping at the home-grown herb, but I don't think there's any worry that he'll need to join CA...Catnips Anonymous! It doesn't seem to make him super-hyper like other cats (it does nothing for Kitterz, she walks away!), but rather makes for a good sleep for him, on his special mat with his brush. Ah, I love his life!!
How cool that you will have Canadian visitors soon, and see that they are real and not virtual!
Good to hear from you, dear Mickle. Will NZ be participating in the Summer Olympics?
Take care...Gizmo got her summer buzz cut today and is looking like that breed of hairless doggy !
I think if I was a cat I would love to belong to you:) So spoilt LOL Diane
Happy to see Zebby Cat showing us that he still has his prized possessions, and is able to make you respect his territory. I hope more catnip is growing somewhere for the poor lad!
Love the pics. Hey Zebby Cat!
Howdy Zebby, good thinking. Why scratch up your own possessions when you can scratch the lounge chair, carpet, curtain etc hehehe. Glad you have some catnip to enjoy. Are you having fun with your visitors? Take care all. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
He looks so contented and thoroughly spoilt!
Just like my bunnies are.

You and Zebby were made for each other, no doubt.
Hi there! I just wanted to saunter in and say hello and thank you for taking the time to write your lovely comment on my salmon summer rolls. That they inspired you is more than I can hope for. I studied in Sydney (UNSW) so the fact that you're on that side of the world gives me the warm and fuzzy. Hope you'll visit again and I shall too.

Do tell Zebby I keep cat mint in the garden in case he ever pops over.
Cats are so precious with their own personality and ways. Makes me miss my kitties.

Howdy All, just popping over to say hi and hope everything is ok. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory (and Carol)
Are you ever going to blog again?
What a sweet kitty!
I never knew about savory rosettes! I think I'll have to make some of those, too :)
Hi
Great to get a comment from you on my blog.
We had a tabby years ago and had Kitty the ginger, but on the whole black or black and white cats have chosen us.
Will add you to my blog roll and look forward to reading your posts on Zebby.
p.s.
My Grandsons have just spent a year in N.Z and loved the country.
