The Winner Is

Few weeks ago hubby and  I went to a Rose show in Frederick Mejiers at Grand Rapids, Michigan. For the very first time of my life I saw roses in different shade, size and shapes. But was very surprised when I found out that the grand price winner is this yellow beautiful five petal rose.

Are you not surprise? It is great to know that the origin of rose flower has five petals just like an apple blossom. My lighting it's not that good but at least you see the winning piece of this year Rose show. Is that so pretty? How I wish I could have one bush like this ^_^

Pink Or Peach?

         Hubby and I were at a Rose Show two weeks ago at  Frederick Meijers Garden and Sculpture Park. It's my first time to see sooooo many kind of roses. What intrigue me is that their grand prize winner is a five petal rose that almost look like the roses below but only has five petals. I talked to the people of the event and the grand prize winner too and they said that the original rose is a five petal rose. I told them it is like apple blossoms? And they said YES it is!! Next week I am going to show you guys the grand prize winner.

Eyeball Flower

                         I posted this flower on my other blog but I decided to post it again to show flower lovers that there is such thing as eyeball flower.  I was really surprised when I spotted this flower at a kids park garden. What is funnier is that the photo comes out really good never done editing but cropping only. So this is official straight out of the camera. ^_^ Take a very good look on my eyeball flowers.

Hollyhocks

My hollyhocks that I bought last year are not doing good. Two died and two are barely breathing, lol!!

This hollyhocks are are from my Aunt's and it's until when I uploaded the photo that I realized

Humongous Dahlia

I am so surprise that my Dahlias are still blooming even if our temperature drop down already. I had planted four different Dahlias but my yellow Dahlia is the one blooming all the time. And it's giving humongous flower. Here it is.

Thistle

After a little rain I went out for a walk. I find this Thistle a very nice looking wildflower if it is a wildflower ^_^

Macro Flowers

I come across this flowers at our local nursery and I find it very beautiful. I am thinking of buying this next year.

Pinkish with dots inside so cool!

This one is  pale yellow and I like the dots too.

I love this one too it's triple or double petal and the color is vibrant blue so pretty!
I don't know the name of these flowers hope somebody could tell me. ^_^

Day Lilies

These day lilies I found in Frankenmuth, Michigan yesterday.  They had  plenty of flowers there that I can't get enough ^_^  These has a bit of peachy color.

                      And this one has some kind of orange almost like mine but these flowers are huge!
