I can't explain it. I have approximately 4,623 projects on the go, but still I had the uncontrollable urge today to start something new. Linen and red thread, cute bird .... how could I say no?..... The pattern is from here.

ReplyDeleteWell officially you were pipped at the post by Mandy who commented on the subsequent post just before you. BUT having seen your gorgeous blog and you're from a country not yet represented in our bee, I have a plan. Well two plans. How about you join our bee and everyone has a chance to choose a month off as well as their month. An alternative is to wait a couple more days and see whether we get another 15 and make Fresh Modern Bee 2.

Love the bird! He's so cute! I'm so glad that the bee is now 16 members and you are one of them! It's going to be such fun, but I'm not sure how I'll ever choose fabrics and a pattern when it's my turn... so many fabrics, so little time :) I'm thinking I really should learn some embroidery since I see so many lovely things like this on flickr and blogs!

ReplyDeleteLove your birdcage. I too have often that need to start a new project, right then, right there. Nothing else will quench that urge ;). Strange that I don't have the same urges to finish things ;(.
