2015 Christmas Paper Bag Book

 

The latest Isetan Christmas paper bags for year 2015, Life is A Gift, the design illustration by a Belgium illustrator ~ Isabelle Vandenabeele. 

I modified the Christmas paper and made them into a cover page. 

I upcycling some of the shopping booklet into the journal pages.

Some of my previous Christmas Paper Bag Book, for the year of 2014, 2011 and 2010. 

Christmas Paper Bag Journal - 2014

I did my Christmas shopping yesterday at Isetan KLCC Suria. 

I drool on the nice Christmas wrapping paper that Isetan offered !

Even I was felt a bit demotivated with the altitude of the one of the staff in customer service in gift wrapping … but argg ... get rid of those feeling.

I grabbed the newsletter and cut out my favorite images. 

Here are the 2 paper bag book that I make in 2011 and 2010.

For year 2014,

on the left : a drawing from Christopher (8 years old) , my best friend's son.  

 right : cut out images from the newsletter

Christmas Paperbag Book - 2011

Like last year, i make a paperbag book (the red one) for collecting bit and bits of evidence for the Christmas.

For this year, I thought to continue with this little project of mine. 

Again..the beautiful paper-bag was come with purchase from Isetan, can't resist. 

And for sure for not to forget a lovely package send from TJ of Studiomailbox last year. 

I love to put the pieces from Germany in this little book.

Right : Vintage map from local shopping complex some years back. My sister used it as a gift wrapping for the kids.

* There were several blank pages left ....reserved for next year Christmas. *

I keep many books / journals.

The above diary is one of it.

A Christmas gift from superior.

It's a pretty diary from L'Occitane.

The bold and wild mask ~ cut out from newspaper.

Doodling and painting with watercolor.

I don't want my page be too clean and neat.

Just want to make the page 'dirty'

The little flower drew by my darling daughter.

Way to keep the stencils.
The stencils was cut from glossy magazine page.
Once the stencil is used , let it air-dry and keep in between the book pages.
It's will become sturdy and can be reused again.

AJ Week 3 ~ Wrapping It (Crusade 47)

This is my favourite departmental paper bag.

I make them into journal book. I recycle the products catalogue as the inner page.
Tuck in all my favourite wrapping paper, cards, envelopes, embellishment & etc...
