A Birthday Card

Today is my favorite nephew's 26th birthday. He's also my only nephew. Ha!

This card is similar to a "Hello" card I made a few weeks ago. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the "happy" three times. Layering the three gives the card a little dimension.

I cut apart one of my sentiment stamps to get the red "birthday" for the card.

Neenah - solar white card stock
Stampin' Up - patterned papers
Hero Arts - All Occasion Messages

  1. I love the simplicity! I received a Silhouette as a gift a couple months back but with the moving and getting married I haven't been able to play much. Cards like these give me a serious itch... can't wait to fire it up. Great card Dixie...

  3. Super card! Great paper choices, too. I love your technique of layering for a little dimension instead of using dimensional adhesives.

  5. I love the simplicity of this card. I also have a Cameo and I use it every day. And I think I learn something new about it every day.
