A few Piper stories

Pipers prayer...Lately Piper's prayers go like this. "...I'm thankful for everyone in the family, and a few things, then I know the church is true. I know everyone, and I know everything. In the name of ...." Now she's shortened everything to, "I know everyone, and I know everything. In the name of..."

This last summer has been hard, because there are kids everywhere, ready to play. Usually that's good, but not if they are supposed to be doing something else. Piper had been sneaking off to friend's house without telling me. But, she lives behind us, so they have to hop the fence to get to her house. So, she knows that once she's over the fence she's home free, because I'm not going to hop the fence to find her. So after a few weeks of getting in trouble for sneaking away without telling me, I got mad. She was carrying her favorite bunny that Grandma Moore had given her. I said, "Piper, if you hop over that fence without telling me one more time I'm cutting your bunny's head off!" (I figured that she would be too scared to go back over) Well, 30 minutes later all the neighbor kids came running in the house, letting me know that she hopped the fence.

So, she came back in the house freaking out, because she didn't want me to cut the head off of her bunny. So, I called Matt and asked what I should do. No answers there. In the meantime, all the neighbor kids are standing around chanting, "Cut it's head off, cut it's head off!" So, I said, "Okay Piper, I won't cut it's head off, if you bring me 3 other toys, and I'll cut their heads off." So she had 3 toys in its place within 2 seconds. Then all of a sudden Averi's freaking out yelling, "NO!! Those are my toys!"

So, I had everyone leave. We picked out 3 of her toys, cut the heads off, and shed some tears. (I didn't, I hate toys!)  She has yet to hop the fence without telling me. I definitely recommend this parenting tactic. Just kidding, it was really the worst!

Pictures from who knows where! Some June, and some winter of 2012.

This last spring we dug out the old trampoline that was here when we moved in and put in a new one. I can't believe how much Preston has changed in just a few months!

They all cut out letters from the old tramp. material. A, A, P.
I don't think Asher left the hole the whole time it was open.
Always helping Dad.
Asher's 7th birthday. The whole neighborhood went through a football trading phase. Asher asked for, and got a Bronco's Uniform, and a bunch of cards. He was a hit with all his new cards!
Here it is all in now!
We got talked into doing a trade show. That was a waste of time and money. I think we broke even. We were so used to people just calling and asking to pick up some HCG that we weren't used to having to sell it so hard!
We went to Idaho, and stopped to see Grandma Edie. She gave all the girls one of her special dolls. Don't tell anyone, but the girls are too young for special dolls.
Either Boondocks or Jack & Jill's... I'm sure it was a fun night filled with arcades and cheap toys!
Us girls planted the garden in about 10 minutes. It was new soft dirt.
We have been going to iJump when we go up to Idaho. It's been a fun thing to do when it's too cold to go outside.
Piper?
This was his clothes on in the tub phase. It's not the clothes that are a big deal, actually not even the nasty diapers. It's that blanket that he needs to sleep with in like 20 minutes from when this picture was taken.
Grandma Edie's place.
That was the doll I chose.

The kids had so much fun!

Getting ready for church. I think that was the last time I saw those shoes. We've lost a ton of shoes this year!
Grandma Moore cooking with the girls.
Ok, now we're really getting into some old pictures. Christmas 2012.
Averi had a talk in Primary, and Piper held a picture for her. She was so sweet giving her talk.
As of right now, Asher has lost 11 teeth. In fact, he doesn't have any teeth on the bottom on one side. Poor thing, apples don't work that well right now.
This might have also been 2012. I can't remember if I've written about this yet. Piper had some serious pain in her stomach. After multiple trips to the ER, and doctors offices, they couldn't figure out what was wrong with her.

Sunday night was our first trip to the ER, and this was taken Friday afternoon. She hadn't eaten anything, that whole week, we just kept trying to get liquids in her the whole time. She got 2 IV's that week too.

Thursday night we scheduled a CT scan, we asked our family to pray and fast for her. By the time the CT scan was done, they couldn't see anything wrong with her. About ten minutes later she said she was hungry. She started eating, then we stopped at In and Out, and she has been fine since. I'm so grateful that whatever she had went away on its own.

They thought she had a kinked bowel, and there were a few options to fix it. One was horrible, and the other way would've been surgery. If she would've had to have surgery she would've had problems the rest of her life. So, we were really grateful that she was healed!
I love this little girl! This also looks like a 2012 picture.
In the scanning machine.
Averi's stocking stuff.
Playing in the rocks.
Cheerleading. Halloween 2012
Asher's waiting in the dentist office for sedation medicine to kick in. He got 2 huge molars removed.
Christmas 2012.
I don't even remember uploading these pictures. I just sat down and saw them sitting here as a draft. So, here they are!

Still Updating! February-April

For the girls birthday, Matt and I took them out on a date, then to build a bear. They have absolutely loved those bears!
Posing in the salon.
The girls had a cupcake party. It was cute. I pulled out every type of sprinkle and toppings in the cupboards that I could find. There was this cool glittery stuff that I had. And I went around at the end and sprinkled it on the kids cupcakes, and it made them all sparkly. It was cool. But when we were cleaning up, Matt asked if that was the stuff that I put on the cupcakes. I said, "Yeah, why?" He goes, "It's just regular glitter. It's not to eat."
Oops!
So happy to have a lot of candy.
Asher was pretty good during the party. It's hard when you have to sit back and watch your little sisters get a ton of stuff.
This boy, not so much! He wanted to be rolling around in the cupcakes and candy on the table. He wasn't going to stop throwing a fit until we let him eat every piece of candy in sight.
When the kids moved over to open presents he just ate every one's cupcakes and candy.
Always happy, she is just fine with anything!
From one candy event to the next. I never got as much candy as a kid as these kids get. We had a little Easter egg hunt around the yard, and I hid some hard ones especially for Asher. He was really proud that he found them all.
He loves big shoes.
My tiny baby!

Sometimes all the starts align, and they will all play together happily. Asher was telling them stories and doing the actions to it with shadows. It was a cute moment.
In the tub with clothes AND shoes. He keeps me busy!
I told Asher that we sold our first house the other day, and he started crying because he missed his old room. It had stripes on the walls. So I painted his room here. I did 5 stripes instead of 7. I think I like it better.
It's so cute, Asher and the neighbor kids have really been into football and football cards. So it was a Bronco's party. That is his favorite team. (he's never watched football, so I don't know why it is, it just is) So we bought him a uniform, and Peyton Manning shirt. He told me that all of his friends were freaking out because he has such good cards.
Such an exciting time for him.
I had over 20 kids here for his party, and when I took this picture all 20 of them were quiet (except Piper). They were all eating, and just cute.
This is when all the older kids were freaking out about how good his cards were. This was a very proud moment.
At least he was happy during this party. He did cry until he could have a turn though.

These girls were so cute when they were helping me plant the garden. Averi ran in and got her watering can, and watered every seed we planted. Piper kept taking my gloves. So I had to come in and wash my hands in between everything that I planted.
I hate touching dirt, so I finally grabbed some hair coloring gloves. The girls were so fun helping me plant stuff. Here you can see the new trampoline Matt put in. He spent last week taking out the old one. Then making the hole a little bigger for this one. Even though we had a tramp, and now we just have a new one, it has been a main attraction for the neighborhood kids. There are always a lot of kids in our yard. I love it though!
All 4 kids going for a ride!
Piper got out of the tub, and must have found all the clothes that were too small, or I was done with. She's so tall! Those are 4T pants, and they just cover her knees.
