In May we celebrated Alli's 9th birthday. I can't believe my little girl is that old!!! For her birthday we went shopping and had so much fun together! I'm glad I have one daughter to have girl time with!! Then we got to celebrate with our good friends, the Lallatins. We haven't seen them for 2 years, but they got to come to Utah for a visit and it just happened to be the weekend of Alli's birthday. They came to Kangaroo Zoo with us, had a BBQ, and the girls got to sleep over. It was sooooo fun to see them again!!! We really miss having them as neighbors!! Alli also got to celebrate her birthday at my parents house and again at Matt's parents house on Memorial Day. She is more than spoiled!! :)
My dad's birthday is 4 days before Alli's so they get to celebrate together. Happy Birthday Dad!!

Hey, I happen to love the soccer ball cake! I can't believe you guys have a 9 year old either. Weird.
Happy Birthday Alli! Sounds like she had a fun B-day. I cannot believe she is 9 either. Avery got the We Ski game for her birthday too and she LOVES it!
And if we are keeping score on creative birthday cakes, I am in the negatives. I'm glad I'm not the only mom who makes the boring cakes from the box. I'm just not that creative (or patient) enough to make something elaborate that will be devoured in 3.2 seconds.
Anyway, Happy Birthday Alli!
What you lack in some areas (cake) you definitely make up for in other areas! You are a great mom!!
Is it really possible for you to have a 9-year-old? I can't believe how crazy it is that all of us are so grown up. Now....we're the old ones! :)
I can't believe Alli is Nine! At least you are a young fun mom! It looks like you had a great time.
