OH- -SO-BEAUTIFUL WINTER FASHIONS

Sigh .... I'm in a dreamy state just looking at these beautiful romantic images by photographers Sanchez and Mongiello taken for The New York Times Style Magazine in 2010.  Even though these aren't things I'd normally wear, wouldn't it be fun to dress up for a day in one of these and even be transported into one of these gorgeous snow scenes?

Oh wow, I couldn't resist posting this soft pastel retro images from Lula Magazine. Model, Monika Sawicka, looks great in any style or clothing era and photographer, Sophia Sanchez, creates the perfect muted tones and retro styling for these photos.

Beautiful images have a way of brightening my day.  Hope these do that for you, too!  xx

FALL FAVORITES FROM RUCHE

Ruche's new Fall collection is right up my alley ... western inspired and stylish tops, shoes, dresses, and jackets.  I'm going to try to be a little more daring this season by wearing tights in different colors (like the maroon ones above) and bolder colors like the gorgeous gold peacoat.  Here's a sweet little video Ruche created for their new lookbook, too!

Oh, on a side note, I wanted to let you know that I updated my "ABOUT PAGE" in case you've ever wondered who the person is behind the blog.  It's taken me a long time to do it because, to be honest, I'm better behind the camera than in front of it and was hesitant to put my photo up.  Notice it's in black and white?  ;)

O.k., these photos have convinced me that I need to get out of my yoga pants, coral tank top, and white sports jacket and into something a little more feminine and fun! I love this time of year when we can put our warmer clothes away and pull out our light airy tops and comfortable flats and Converse. ;)

I don't know about you, but I'm not quite ready to give up my cozy Winter sweaters. I think these light pullovers are a great compromise, especially if you twist your hair up in a messy bun.

This probably is old news to you but since I've been slacking off with blogging lately, I hadn't been able to post about Ruche's new bridal department. Even though I've been married for years, I still drool when I look at the romantic styles they've come up with. I think it might be time to renew some vows. ;)

Good morning! How are things in your part of the world? It's a blustery day here in Seattle. I love the wind (in fact I love just about all types of weather) so I'm pretty content here in front of my computer today. I'm in here, and it's out there! ;)

Hi there! I need to apologize for being so absent lately. I'm keeping really busy preparing product for the West Elm/Etsy Christmas event this Thursday. It's been alot of fun, but unfortunately, I can only focus on one task at a time. ha, ha. I'm not one of those women that can "do it all". You know the type. ;)
