Christmas Cards and It's Christmas Eve!

I just remembered that I have not shared with you the cards I made last year for my God daughter's 18th Birthday (her birthday is 11 December) and Christmas.

I also wanted to share with you a Nativity Video called  He Chose The Shepherds on Youtube.

Also on Youtube is one of my favourite Carols which is sung in French called Noel Nouvelet.
I usually sing an English version called "Noel Little Child".

Christmas Stitching and Snow!!

Here is the finished "Forever Friends" Christmas Card I stitched for my daughter.  I had some difficulty finding a card with a large enough aperture.  So I had to cut the one I had.  There was a couple of cuts showing, so I used stick on ribbon to hid it.  I think it turned out not too bad.  Anyway she loved it.

I found some lovely Blackwork Angels by Prairie Schooler and just had to stitch them.
And here are two that I have stitched so far.

I've made them into Christmas Tree Ornaments for my friend Janet who loves Angels.

Look what I woke up to this morning!!  Snow!

As a child I always wished for snow on my birthday, but it did not happen many times.
But the snow today did not last very long, so  I was able to go out and do some Christmas Shopping.
Not long now until Christmas!  Are you ready!!

Until next time, Happy Stitching.

Past Christmas Cards

It's a long time since I last posted.  I'm in the middle of a Christmas Card for my daughter at the moment.  I've had to do some frogging, but it's now coming along nicely.  So, I thought I would share with you some of the Christmas Cards that I have stitched in the past.

My First Christmas Card.

These are just some of the cards that I have stitched for my daughter over the years.  The last one is a bit crumpled.  I used glue to stick it in the card, which I will never do again.  I now use double sided tape, which is much better.  I also pad out my cards to give a raised effect.  I find you don't need too much as it can distort your card when folding it together.

Must get back to doing some more stitching.  Christmas is just around the corner!!

Happy Stitching Everyone
