Last month I was busy stitching but could not show you, but I can now. I managed to finish the lettering during the last IHSW week end.
Noah's Ark - from a Donna Kooling book. |
For the Noah's Ark design, I used my own colours, as I have so many left over threads that I could use. The original colours are more pastel shades. As the card was for a boy I changed the pink elephants for mauve and purple.
I used my own colours from my stash. I think I might make it into a needle case.
This little blackwork design is in Cross Stitch Crazy Issue 212. A Lesley Teare design.
This little Celtic Knot design is not yet finished, so is a Work in Progress or WIP.
A little Cross design for Easter.
A Margaret Sherry Design. Another Work in Progress - but nearly there.
Easter
I hope everyone enjoyed a joyful Easter. I received a beautiful cross stitched card from my friend Mary Grace in Malta.
The design can be found on a Polish blog called Hafted Malowane, and can be found here:-http://danihaft.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/moje-juz-wielkanocne-wzorki.html
I sent Mary Grace one of my own little Celtic Cross designs.
