Best of Luck

okay, so i'm the worst blogger ever. i have realized that i cannot easily switch from doing one thing to another, that i need enough time to start and finish a project, or whatever it is i need to do. and while i think that i just need to accept myself that way, i also would like to change this because life just doesn't work that way, to give me enough time to finish something before doing something else. this is why i have some days in a row when i make lots of cards, because i can focus on that and be creative. but if other stuff is going on, i find i can't switch back and forth. but i want (have to) to work on that. :)

anyway, that's how it's going these days. i did make a card this evening, though :) i am combining two challenges (this is the first time i've ever done that - everyone's doin' it, right?) the inspiration is from the gorgeous tuesday trigger and moxie fab world, and the lovely sketch from 2 sketches 4 you.
i made the tag, added some ribbon and lace and used my sewing machine for the first time since getting it "repaired." now the zigzag works well (which wasn't working before) but i can't get the right setting for the straight stitch!! any tips/ideas?

thanks for dropping by, and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Hi Marley!
Your card is beautifule...so very Irish! Love it!
I can totally relate to you...I'm going through the same thing here too! I can only focus on one thing at a time. My job requires me to multi-task, and by the time I get home I'm absolutely wiped out!
Love,
Oliva

oof! i *SO* hear ya on the subject of not "transitioning" well! i think you are wise to just realize that's how it is and go with it! (& the nice thing is, you will always have a backlog of things to blog at a later date!)

i am SERIOUSLY ♥lOOooOOOoOOOving♥ this card!!! what a beautiful combination of elements...and how incredibly cheerful and spring-like...i think this is my fave of all the tuesday trigger cards i've seen for this challenge!!!

(re sewing machine: i think the little tension dial is what needs adjusting, but i can never remember which way does what--in the booklet there's a diagram, though, which shows what the "problem" stitches look like and how you fix it!)
