Cachoeira da Serra Azul-The Blue Sierra Waterfall

Cachoeira da Serra Azul-Bom Jardim, Matto Grosso, Brazil

Downstream from the Waterfall
There are no shortages of beautiful waterfalls in Brazil, like this one here near Bom Jardim, in Matto Grosso. And one thing they all have in common beside their the Beauty and Majesty is they provide a great place to reflex on just how awesome God is. Beauty like this is definitely the handy work of a loving Creator. As Romans 1vs19-20 puts it... For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities---his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing GodEnough said,  Amen!!

Logoa das Araras-Lagoon of the Macaws

Sunset at Lagoa das Araras

Blue & Gold Macaws
Sunset at Logoa das Araras
Logoa das Araras, a logoon in the state of Mato Grosso, where every evening thousands of mostly Blue and Gold Macaws come home to roost after a long day of flying around the country side looking for food. You know these birds are coming by all noise they start making as they appoach there nesting ground for the night. It's hard to see but there are actually birds nesting in the trees top photo.

Dock of the Bay

Lago Norte, Brasilia, Brazil
Everything always seems better at sunset. To me it's a majestic time of the day. A time to give thanks to God for all the good things he has done in life. Although at times I don't understand everything that happens along the way I still trust him knowing that he will never betray me or abandon me like people have. They say never put all your eggs in one basket but with the King of  Kings and Lord of Lords it the only choice. And it's right one!

Dog Day Afternoon

Boomey & Sadie watching the boats go by at  Lago Paranoá, Brasilia, Brazil.
Boomey, enjoying a Dip in the Lake.
Sadie, I love this Lake!!
Boomey and Sadie, these two are quite a pair together. They both love to run and and swim and never get tired.  And yes, when it's time to leave and come home Sadie, the ringleader, all of a sudden can't hear and heads back into the water with Boomey right behind her. Well, I don't blame them I love it out here too. Seems like there's just never enough time for fun in the sun.

Enjoying God's Creation

River that runs through Itiquira Falls

Beauty in Motion
I enjoy nature and the handy work of Father God who sets all things in motion. Notice I said Father God, and not mother nature the pagan goddess, that's because there is no mother nature who created anything.

Christ (who is God) is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation. Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see--kings, kingdoms, rulers and authorities . Everything has been created through him and for him. He existed before everything else began, and he holds all creation together.   Colossians 1: 15-17

And that my friends settles it!!

Beautiful Falls

Itiquira Falls
Another smaller waterfall while walking along the tranquil path at Itiquira Falls outside of Brasilia, Brazil. I basically had the place to myself which made it easier to photograph, and because there was no one in my way I could take my time, seeing how some of theses exposures took as much as 8 seconds to capture

Praça dos Cristais

Praça dos Cristais
Yellow flowers in the park
Praça dos Cristais
The Famous Praça dos Cristais, in Brasilia, Brazil. While strolling through this small park the other day I thought, wow this is great, it's a small little park with lot's of small detail such as the bright yellow flowers and interesting walking paths that take you around the water. Plus there was literal no one there except one armed police keeping a watchful eye on the crystals.

Iguazu Falls at Night

A 62 second Exposure of Iguazu at Night
This photo was taken in practically total darkness. My point, without light there is no photography. Without the Light of the World there is no hope.
