Back to School Cuteness

I am a sucker for cute back to school crafts and cuteness even though I homeschool my kids.

I always take my kids back to school pictures and they usually turn out to be my favorites of the year. These are a couple from last year...

I like them so much better than the traditional school photo with the bad laser back drop.

I just went out with them last night for our annual tradition and haven't had a chance to dive into them yet...but bet your bottom dollar that I will be sharing some new pics of them getting ready for the upcoming school year soon!

Even though my kids don't have traditional school teachers per say, they still have other mentors besides myself that I love to give little appreciation gifts to, such as dance, piano, sports and other teachers and coaches.

My sweet friend Leelou (who just had a sweet new baby girl I am hoping I get to peek at this weekend in between all the craziness!) has this adorable free printable up on her blog today that would be such a fun little thing to send with your child on the first day of school with a little goodie inside letting your teacher know how much you appreciate them.

Adorable!

I haven't forgotten about Making the World Cuter...my baby sister has been picking up a lot of my slack...just check out my adorable new niece! (My sister is pretty cute too!)Nothing is as cute as a brand new daddy...especially one with a little girl who does nothing but sleep and eat wrapped so tightly around his finger.We could not get this child to sleep for more than a couple minutes...she was wide awake and curious as to why I was sticking a big black camera in her face. Isn't she pretty? Oh...I miss her already!

This sign I made for her room with some of the adorable vector designs from My Vinyl Designer (and my friend's Silhouette).

The saying was from, Modern Wall Art 13 and the tree was from, Modern Wall Art 1 . If you are looking for some cute designs to cut with your vinyl cutters-don't look elsewhere-they have a lot of everything! The tree and the word "darling" are cut from white vinyl and the "Sweet Dreams" is cut from paper, and I modpodged it on there.

I made this a long time ago, but didn't want to show it until my sister had seen it, it will be hanging in sweet Elliot's nursery. Her nursery is blue with pink and purple accents...adorable just like her. :)
